The new export menu requires more clicks. I used to be able to tap on (I'm paraphrasing because I can't 100% remember the wording) "export to photos app" and it would remember my chosen file format for that export destination. And when I choose "export to files app" it remembered my chosen file format for that too. As in, I could just choose one of those two to export in the file format I want. I work with TIFF when I edit in other apps, which is when I export to the files app. And I export jpeg to the photos app when I have my finished edit. the new menu forces me to switch back and forth and is more cumbersome. I do not see it as being better or more convenient. I hope you can bring back the old menu.
I love the new "Create Edit Replay" feature in Lightroom Mobile to make videos of my editing process. However, it would be nice to be able to have a Settings dialog menu to be able to edit the order of how the steps are displayed; where the caption box that describes the steps is placed on the screen; a way to change the color, font and size of the caption box for the titles of each step (they often cover the face of my subject as I do mostly portraits); and maybe a way to control the speed/duration of the steps and also the transitions in between (it moves way too fast for my taste). Also, when it shows the split screen view of the Before and After stages at the beginning of the video, it would be nice to be able to control the crop of the Before image as it often doesn't match the crop of the After image so the two don't line up nicely in that intro Before/After comparison screen. Anyways, thank you for continuing to expand and improve the apps.
Excellent software for photo editing. Fast and efficient. It suffers a little in the usability of the app. One point that could be improved is the number of clicks required to delete a photo. That's an "incredible" 5 clicks to delete a photo... It could be reduced.
This new Lightroom update is really bugging me. Why put the device galleries as the 1st thing I see. Starting with collections worked. The main purpose of LR fornme is to organize and filter out the photos I don't need to see. Now they're front and center. I fell like i dont have a choice on what I see. At least make it optional.
I'm an event photographer I take a combination of landscape and portrait pictures when it comes to Editing I want to be able to filter out the landscape from the portrait for re sizing for re signs in also just to be able to create a separate album yet to create a separate album for portrait pitches alone without having to go through a manual selection process is there any way we can develop a filter anyway we can develop a filter for such a task
Saludos
I was so excited today to see they added an edit device photos option. And then disappointed. I really thought it was going to solve the biggest pain in my workflow. Currently I maintain an Apple Photos library and a Lightroom Cloud Library. Currently any edits I do, or RAWs I import directly to Lightroom are exported back out to Apple Photos. I was really hoping to edit device photo feature would be more of a “sync edits” type feature. Whereas I could edit a Photo that has been imported from my device and it would both save the edit to Lightroom and my device photo. I know this feature would have a lot of edge cases, like what if the photo was imported from the device library, but then deleted but I’d sure love to see Adobe solve this somehow.
Here is what happens t me a lot on iPad:To rate pictures, I set a filter to “Neutral and selected” pictures in order to hide the pictures I reject. However, while reviewing the pictures, I very often zoom (pinch) in order to assess sharpness and I LR frequently detects this as a flag rating and rejects the picture.I then must change the filter to “reject only” and then have to guess which picture I just deleted. This can be rather difficult when assessing a lot of similar pictures for best sharpness. Therefore, it would be good to implement the so handy “shake to undo” function.Cheers!
Estaría bien que en la cámara ajustasen tiempos más prolongados de exposición así como la opción "bulb", para fotografías sin apenas luz
I currently have to enter people tags into keywords separately, doubling this task. I'd prefer the people tags to go directly into keywords.
A small demonstration of what I meant! Hello, I tried to leave a link above with a video showing what I want to say here, I hope it worked! I would really like Lightroom Mobile to have a tool called "expand", just like the Snapseed mobile app! Watch the video I left at the link above, please. I'm asking for this tool because I don't have a computer, and I only use my cell phone to edit!I would love to have this tool in Lightroom Mobile, because I like to use only it to edit my photos! Thank you all.
Hello Adobe Lightroom on Ipad 9th gen (regular 10.2 inch) doesn't let shoot DNG, as the camera is 8mp and not above 10mp. Hence I ask Adobe to update the app so that the Ipad does support shooting in DNG. Thanks
As iPads and other mobile devices are becoming more prevalent in the photo editing workflow, there are some features lacking in the iPad Lightroom app. One of these is the ability to preview/proof renders in the sRGB color space. At this time, sRGB is the most widely accepted standard for posting photos online, and waiting for export to view in sRGB is counterintuitive when the intent is to post online. Proofing for sRGB and other color spaces needs to be added in as functionality within the LR Mobile app, or at the very least, the iPad version of the app. Thank you very much!
Add a blur effect in masking tool which makes easy to edit the picture in better quality
I'd love the ability to select all (or select mode) > Reset Edits (CMD+R). Currently I have to open each image individually and CMD+R. It takes way too long.
HelloIt would be helpful if I could set the image size for collections to download. Currently the customer can download the JPG images only in the size 2048 x 1366.Exporting the images in LR Classic to the desired size first, then copying to collection is cumbersome!
LR on web browser can't apply preset to multi photo, It should has this feature.
I have been trying to find an easy way for Lightroom to show me all of the photos I have that do not have keywords. It has been frustrating trying to find a solution for this as all I have been able to find when searching forums and such are somewhat complicated methods involving creating smart collections for Lightroom Classic in 2016, and none of it looks anything like the latest version of cloud based Windows Lightroom in 2023. I feel like I must be missing something, because when I want to search through all my photos that I have not placed in any albums, the solution is to simply type "not in any album" in the top search bar. This seems like a basic enough function that when clicking on the keyword drop down there should be included a "no keyword" filter.
When importing photos to the Lightroom CC app on iPad, it would be great to select one or multiple folders and import all photos contained in the directories when using the "Import from Files" option. I noticed this functionality is available on the Mac version and makes importing (for example) multiple days from a portable storage device very fast. On my iPad, I have to go within each folder and select all the image files. Adding this functionality would significantly accelerate bulk import workflows on the iPad. In my particular case, I am in the process of loading my entire historical photo library (50K photos) to Lightroom which is taking a long time since I have to select each folder which is organized by month and day. On the Mac by contrast, it was just one import action.
After the last 2 updates the delete button in edit mode is now burried several clicks under menus when it used to be just 1 click. Similarly, apply previous used to be conveniently located in the ribbon, now it's burried 4-ish deep. Please bring them back to their old locations for ease of use or give the option to choose.
Please make it possible to: A) Display *and edit* Titles on the grid when in Grid view B) Search for missing/empty titles If I can't find an image years later, I may as well have not taken it, so good titling is essential, and unfortunatley Lightroom just makes it too hard. These capabilities have been possible in Apple Photos for 10+ years and are essential workflow for me, but are still not present in Lightroom! I've attached screenshots of these two features in Apple Photos for inspiration 🙂 Thank you.
One of the things I LOVE in LIghtroom mobile is the ability to toggle onfo on and off of the thumbnails that shows the file size, kind of image, image capture date right on the image. Very helpful when deciding which of multiple similar images I want to work on. Can't find this feature in Lightroom Classic or Lightroom -- but it would be a good one!! Thnx.
When are you going to embed the "Remove" AI editing tool? Several Apps are already using. Even Google Photos already made it available. Adobe is lagging behind on the Al theme.
I've been using Lightroom Mobile for few years now and this problem has never been fixed. I use all the latest software and OS. When I import X1D RAW files to a Mac it is all good. When I open them on iPhone or iPad there's an error "missing camera profile". The only option is to select continue and LR assigns the Camera Standard profile, which totally changes the colours. Suddenly having a 10k+ camera system for the absolute perfect colours is irrelevant. This NEEDS to change. PLEASE! I saw similar posts here, but weren't able to reply to the topic (I was in an endless loop of reply-sign in-refresh of the page).
As one who edits images on my iPad Pro in color and black and white, I'd like the ability to filter my library of edited images by their color space. It would also be great to have a Smart Folder or gallery of images that are of one color space. This will help me quickly sort and find specific edits.
