I’m trying to open the Lightroom desktop app on a 2021 Macbook Pro. It looks as if the app starts to open, but then crashes immediately. I’ve tried restarting my laptop, uninstalling and reinstalling lightroom, and signing out/signing back into the Adobe Creative Cloud app. I’m still able to access other Adobe products on the laptop, it’s just Lightroom itself that’s unable to open. I can’t provide any screenshots, since the app itself won’t open. It’s not Lightroom Classic, but the new Lightroom app.
still no super resolution for the iPad mobile versions this is completely unacceptable.
"Hi everyone, I’m new to Lightroom. I recently imported about 1,500 CR2 (RAW) images, and it’s been over 16 hours, but the app seems stuck. None of the images are editable, and they all show a blue 'syncing' icon (as seen in the screenshot attached). My internet connection is fine. Is this normal? How can I stop the syncing or prioritize a few images so I can start editing?
I would like the actual AI denoise to be able to run on the iPad. I would subscribe to Lightroom again if you added this. But it was taking too long to get implemented. So I cancelled my subscription. You’re adding the AI things I don’t care about to the iPad software, and the one thing I actually do care about is AI noise reduction.
I was close to running out of space on my hard drive (“X”) so I transferred > 190,000 photos and the Lightroom Classic to a new hard drive, which has a different letter (“Z”). I did this using Windows Explorer instead of within Lightroom as I understood it was quicker and more reliable to use this approach. I then disconnected the old hard drive (“X”) to ensure all access to Lightroom was via the new hard drive. I am able to open the catalog in Lightroom but the folder structure does not appear. The Photos folder is on the hard drive but I can’t get the software to recognize it. It is my understanding that I shoud not use “synchronize” since I would lose all past edits. Is that correct? I also read about using the “Find the Folder” function but I don’t see that option anywhere. How can I get Lightroom Classic to recognize the photos that are stored on the hard drive and hopefully not lose the edits that are already incorporated in the catalog?
Lightroom Desktop AI Denoise tool not working. My AI Denoise was a Denoise button you clicked and a window would pop up with a percentage slider then click denoise. It was saying the photo format was not supported (but it worked last week- photo formats were cr2 and cr3).I unistalled and reinstalled and then the new Lightroom Desktop did not have AI Denoise, but instead a Denoise slider (like the mobile version on my ipad). How do i get back the AI Denoise with percentage slider for desktop? I have a Mac Mini M4.
Hello,I'm having a problem with my Lightroom cloud library. Some photos that used to open and edit normally no longer load the original file. In Lightroom Desktop, these photos show "Local: Smart Preview" instead of "Original: .ARW". When I try to zoom in, the original never loads. The same problem also happens in Lightroom Web, so it doesn't seem to be related to my computer. This issue appears to affect one specific album. These photos were imported a long time ago, I have edited them many times, and they worked perfectly until recently. My originals are stored only in the Lightroom cloud, and I currently use about 800 GB of my 1 TB storage plan.Could you please check whether the original files are still available in my cloud library or if there is a synchronization issue affecting these photos?Thank you.
In Lightroom Classic I can remove unused keywords from the keyword list or from the Menu {Metadata}{Purge Unused Keywords}. This process does not exist in Lightroom mobile/desktop/web.If I search on an unused keyword answer select it I get the “Black Hole’ message.
Contrary to Lightroom Classic, Lightroom CC doesn't automatically stack the two photos of a RAW+JPEG pair together. This creates quite a bit of clutter. Could you please implement this feature? Thank you.
HelloI’d love to see an option that lets clients download the entire shared album in JPEG standard (small), just like the current full-size JPEG download optionRight now, it seems possible to download photos one by one in JPEG standard (small) from the shared album, but not to download the whole album in that format at onceIn my case, that makes the workflow less practical, because I need a lighter JPEG version for web and social sharing, and it would be much more useful if clients could download the full shared album directly in JPEG standard (small) instead of handling each file individually or only using the full-size versionThis would improve my workflow by giving clients a simpler, faster, and more flexible delivery option. It would also reduce extra manual steps on my side and make the shared album more useful for different uses of the same shootI’d encourage others who would benefit from a smaller shared album download option to vote on this threadThank you for taking the time t

Simply give us the feature that we already had which was the ability to filter out photos which have been edited and non-edited. Without this option you cannot see which photos you have processed.
Objects under the hidden cursor can still be selected but it is not possible to know where the cursor is located inside the image. I am using a Silicon Mac (M2 Ultra) on MacOS v26.5.1
The lightroom workflow when you want to edit a photo you have already imported before is absolutely ridiculous, I click on the image and what I expect the software to do is to open it, or to re-direct me to the version I have already imported before - BUT I DON'T EXPECTED IT TO SAY IT WAS ALREADY IMPORTED WITHOUT GIVING ME ANY OPTION TO RE-EDIT THE IMAGE!!!!! This is absurd! . WHY DO I HAVE TO SEARCH IT AGAIN ALL THE TIME??? Can you get better on this, please? It's so simple and intuitive. Get better.
Hello Adobe Support,I am experiencing an issue with Lightroom Desktop when exporting photos, and I would appreciate your assistance. The problem only occurs in the desktop version of Lightroom. Whenever I export an image using either the Original or Large JPEG export option, the exported file has noticeably reduced quality and does not match the original image. In addition, every time I export, Lightroom displays the following warning:"Warning: Some images may not be exported at the size you requested because we couldn't access the full-size original."This happens even though the original photos should be available. What is confusing is that the Lightroom mobile app works perfectly. Using the same photos, I can export both Original and Large JPEG versions without any quality loss or unexpected compression. The issue is only present on Lightroom Desktop.Because of the warning message, I suspect Lightroom Desktop is somehow unable to access the full-resolution originals, even though they ar
Now that LRM has the ability to do HDR photos with the built in camera, it would be nice to also be able to produce HDR images with imported photos. It should be fairly easy to implement since the coding is already done for the camera.
When exporting a photo with AI sharpening, the process get’s hung on the “preparing stage”.
Lightroom Version 7.0 Operating System - macOS 14 Sonoma I was excited to learn that LR had the ability to work on local drives. I have used Bridge for the last several years after getting frustrated with Classic's performance. I like what I see in the new LR and am giving it a try. I have run into a problem that I am not able to delete any photos in LR that reside in folders on my Synology NAS drive. After asking if I want to move the photo to the trash I get a response saying "This file cannot be moved to the trash. Please try deleting directly from the disk." I have the gone into my Synology settings and I cannot find anything there that would cause this response. I have no issues deleting photos when in Bridge. I have administer rights on the NAS drive as well as read/write privileges. Photos residing on the internal SSD or attached drives delete just fine. I also can copy files into NAS folders, Move photos from one folder to another on the NAS. I hav
LR Desktop includes several options for sorting an album including date created, name etc. LR Classic also includes the label. I find this very useful as I can automatically sort albums with large numbers of photos. Please add this to LR Desktop
Prior to version 9.4, if you pressed T while selecting an image that was already in the target album, a warning prompt would appear to confirm you want to remove the image from the target album if you hadn't previously marked the "Remove photo from album" prompt as "Don't show again". As of version 9.4, removing a photo from an album via T is treated differently from other methods of removing photos, and this prompt isn't shown. This is a very negative change. On slower systems (or whenever Lightroom is mysteriously performing worse than it should on all my very diverse systems despite Adobe not being able to identify any issues) the toast notification that pops up when pressing T, as well as the count of photos on the album list were both so laggy that this warning prompt was the only safety net I could rely on when quickly adding photos to a target album if I had to press T multiple times because I wasn't sure if it registered the first time. Furthermore, as you can't quickly see if
Há umas duas semanas, o app Lightroom começou apresentar dificuldade para sincronizar as fotos do álbum para o app… impossibilitando a edição das fotos. Preciso de ajuda urgente.
DescriptionHello,I found what appears to be a reproducible issue in Lightroom Mobile.Camera: Canon EOS R8Lens: Canon RF 24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STMFile format: CR3 RAWLightroom Mobile version: 11.4.0Devices tested: iPhone and iPad Pro M4IssueSome CR3 files behave incorrectly when editing in Lightroom Mobile. The problem only occurs with images captured between 24 mm and 29 mm using the Canon RF 24-50mm lens. When adjusting the Shadows or Highlights sliders, the adjustments affect almost the entire image, behaving similarly to the Exposure slider instead of affecting only the corresponding tonal range.Images captured at 30 mm or longer behave normally.Additional observations* All images were captured in RAW (CR3).* Camera settings remained the same.* The issue is reproducible on both iPhone and iPad.* Disabling Lens Corrections and Chromatic Aberration has no effect.* Re-importing the files does not solve the issue.* The exact same CR3 files behave correctly in Lightroom Desktop. This suggests
