This has been asked many times on the old forums but here we go again: Can you please implement the same full screen previews on import like on Lightroom Classic. All we need is a double click on the file to go to max zoom to be able to cull the images before importing. Culling at the moment requires an import of ALL the files before being able to judge whether a file is worthy of importing at all, this also takes up bandwidth/storage on your end.
At this time of writing this, there appears to be no way to remove profiles created in Lightroom. You can add and modify what you see but cannot remove. Its a small issue but rather important one for those of us that create custom profiles. Please consider adding a remove option in a future update 🙂
Ich würde mir sehr wünschen, die Metadaten-Felder in Lightroom durchsuchen und filtern zu können.
Basically, stacks are only useful in the unfiltered view for all photos or a specific album. With the point of stacks to to facilitate managing a group of images; Lr is missing multiple aspects to actually use stacks as useful management tools. Some features which should be implemented: 1. Search/filter for stacks. 2. Show stacks in filter results, where any image matches the filter criteria. 3. Ability to apply meta-data to all members of a stack. Basically anything in the information panel, keywords, ratings... Tim
During Lightroom imports on iPad it would be helpful to be able to see lock icons or star icons.
When you have a large album of images, the thumbnails with all icons (rating, flags...) around the border is insufficient to quickly scan or find which specific image I want. The idea would be to somehow have conditional color changes of the border based on filter criteria. e.g. make the border green for everything which has 2 stars.... Tim
I often make use of photo merge; and my laptop is borderline in terms of power to accomplish this (Windows with Intel I7 8750H 2.2GHz with SSD). So, Lr basically becomes almost unresponsive once I have a large merge processing, or even two smaller ones. At this point the merge preview is not able to run. The idea, is to make any merge processing a much lower priority and cap the max number of background processes allowing me to continue going through images and building merge previews.... Tim
When using the desktop version of lightroom I'm constantly hovering over pixels to gauge the color values to maintain a consistent exposure It would be nice to have an eye dropper tool in the mobile version to inspect the color value of an image
I wish, when adding keywords, I could select the keywords from already entered keywords as in the web version.
It would be sweet to see a feature that would allow you to create a checkpoint while in the middle of an edit so you can compare to that point in the editing process as you are going along. Very similar to how on Mac if you press the backslash button while editing, it shows the original photo without edits. I am thinking of having that same feature, but instead of it showing the original photo before edits when the backslash is pressed, you can set the photo with a certain set of edits to be what pops up when you press backslash. Or even have several buttons you can set to be different stages in your editing of the photo. I would find this useful because when I am really taking my time to edit a photo, i sometimes go down a rabbit hole of edits I thought I would like and then end up not liking, so it would be nice to compare to an earlier version in your editing/ be able to restore the previous version without pressing undo a hundred times.
can the lightroom cc text size be increased by 125%, because on my laptop the size is 14 inch & the resolution is 1920x1080. the text size is 100% too small and the text size is 150% too big
Would like to see the filmstrip slidebar, in Lightroom's PC version, to have added to it a left and right movement button for ease of searching for images.
Lightroom desparetly needs to allow drag and drop. All of the other programs allow it. It feels so old and clunky to have to open an import tab.
New redesigned masking is awesome. But what i missing is subtracting/adding masks from/to each other. For example: I made mask 1 and made edits on it (added brushes on it etc.). Then i made mask 2 and made edits on it (added brushes on it etc.) and then i want simply substract whole “Mask 2” (with sublayers) from whole “Mask 1” (with sublayers). There in no such button for do that. I can subtract or add only predefined subtracting presets (like gradiendt, radial erc.). So pls add this substracting function for created masks. It would be nice. Thanks. 🙂
I am not able to use this lightroom despite many good features just beacuse of missing custom sorting option and more filtering options. I shoot wedding and events, in which end result of the images has to follow a certain sequence which doesn't neccesarily come with automatic options. I can't even filter images of different SNs of a same camera model to edit capture time. I strongly recommend Adobe team to include these features. What are your thoughts friends?
It would be very helpful / useful especially for ceremony photographers like me (we are importing thousand of photos) to have an option with FACES WITH CLOSED EYES so we can exclude them from our libraries, they are useless to us. Thank you.
Many cameras are able to transfer images to a mobile device by establishing a WiFi connection. Proprietary apps by the camera manufacturers access "local networks" on iOS to connect with the phone. Could this feature be added to connect to an camera device in LR mobile to allow importing images?
software without the cloud. Without ever being afraid of losing this data or having to pay more for more space. (as it happened to me) Added a new button. not pause, but NERVER cloud!(because the pause tends to activate itself after the updates)
On Lightroom for tvOS there is currently a setting for Slide Duration which can be set to:FastMediumSlow This setting only applies to viewing photos in the Slide mode which requires pressing play on a single photo in a group or on an entire album or section. Several users have requested in the past requested slower durations. I would like the non-Slide browsing view to be configurable so that it doesn't add swiping left/right transitions between photos. A very mild crossfade would be fine, but the slide motion transition effect is not only entirely unnecessary. On iOS and iPadOS it makes sense to have swiping as a default transition because there is a direct mapping between input device swipping in either direction and the interface displaying the intermediary state between two different photos in the user interface. That is not the case on tvOS. The slide effect is faking swipe feedback by providing a transition that mimics the motion of your finger on the Apple TV remo
Hi guys, first of all, Lightroom CC is no doubt the best app when it comes to photo editing tools. However, I HATE having two different library's on one device. Other apps like Darkroom App etc. are able to base their entire workflow on the default iOS (iCloud) photos library. I don't want to import any sort of photos from Apple Fotos on to the library on Lightroom. I find that to be inconvenient, the best case scenario would be this: I Open Lightroom CC on any device (Mac, iPhone or iPad) and get to see my iOS (iCloud) photos library. Then I chose a picture and start the editing. Or merge photos into a panorama a or whatsoever. even if adobe people think their cloud would be the better solution, for a lot of people it is not. At least give me the option to choose if I'd rather base everything into the photos library or create a catalogue inside of Lightroom. I don't mind paying the premium price for having the Lightroom tools as a app, but I really hate this solut
Normally I upload RAW photos from my camera via a USB C cable to Lightroom. When I connect, the LR Import module comes up, and shows all the photos on my camera from oldest to newest. Usually I have already imported many of them, and I only want to import the newest, but I can’t change the viewing order, so I have to scroll down through hundreds and hundreds of photos which is time consuming. It would be great if I could simply change the viewing order in LR importer
Desirable to get back: "Previous Editing"This feature used to be extremely smart to have in the drawer. Because the latest settings and adjustments can be carried over to the next image.Without it will go beyond the settings that were copied and used in the "Paste Edit Settings". With the "Previous Editing" method, there will be two different possible copy and paste instead of just the one that exists today. In advance thank you 🤗
Love the Lightroom 7 on both phone and tab. But as the use grow, so does the demand. When you store localy on device you can only store all or nothing. Except for smart previews, that are useless outside LR. Would be nice to have the choice of storring the full picture, folder by folder or album by album as you often on the run and would love to do work in other apps or send to someone, but can't as its only a preview. To download the full catalogue is not practicaly possible on either phone or tab. Could you guys look into adding this feature in a comming update? Tx 🙂
See screenshots. Image used to have more real estate. This update is a step backwards in terms of UI. Having said that, I'll look for a setting that lets me move the toolbar to the bottom of the screen, as before.
Love the feature, but I would like it if you have the option to save the enhanced images in a different album or stack and higlight the images in the stack to show you which ones are the enhanced ones.It is difficult to find the enhanced ones when the process is done in the stacks.
