Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Keywords are currently case sensitive, for example I have three variations of the following three keywords which should really be just one. "kids performance" "Kids performance" "Kids Performance"  

The new Lightroom CC would be ideally suited for family use. A shared family photo library in the cloud can be built and maintained. The mobile devices (iPad, iPhone) can be easily integrated already.Not so for PCs: The installations are limited to two. Even when an additional subscription is purchased, it can't be integrated with the existing cloud based photo library (one gets a new, independent one).Please allow a reasonable set of PCs to access the shared cloud photo library. A ballpark number would be 5 (similar to the Microsoft Office Family License).

One thing I think the mobile and new LR CC are missing is the Develop History information. I think this is particularly important in this cloud based context: for example I may have done an edit on my phone that is not quite right (I fumbled it, screen was too small or whatever) and then need to back it out or change it when I see it on a desktop. If this could also be synced with the LR Classic develop history, this would be very powerful.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or is the way it is designed so I'm going with the latter. I am editing a lot of scanned family photos and so enter a lot of titles, descriptions, captions and keywords for my photos. After I select a text field, let's say "Title", by left-clicking in the text field, I take my hand off the mouse and begin typing. I have found that if I have left my mouse cursor over one of the Tools on the right side of the screen, the tool that the cursor was on will become active. When that happens the text cursor is removed from the text box and whatever keyboard shortcuts get invoked by the text I am typing begin modifying or deleting the image I am working on. I try to swipe my mouse to the left after selecting a text field but all too often I forget and my mouse has found its way to the right side of the screen. I wish the cursor behavior for the tools would change to not take the cursor from a text field until a tool is clicked on. I see that is is good to have the

I always need to go in to each and every gallery in the AppleTV Lr to get them sorted by capture date in reverse order as I think it is normal to view the oldest picture in a story first. I would appreciate if the default for this could be changed as it is wonderful using Lr on the TV!   The sorting of the galleries is a second problem: The newest gallery is at the bottom. A reverse order would be prefered as default or as a setting.

I use a lot the "None" filter to know if I have any pictures I still haven't document. I think it's easy to implement and extremely useful.

If I’m unable to access my normal workstation, I typically upload my photos to Adobe Cloud and then make on the fly edits using Lightroom via the Web. I then export the photos to either a Dropbox folder or to a thumb drive.    It would be very beneficial to be able to select multiple photos for export, and be able to save them as a batch all at once rather than having to go through every photo one by one and doing an export.     Thank you! 

Hi there,I wish Lightroom CC had the ability to "watch" local folders on my computer where my files would be uploaded to from devices and automatically import them into my lightroom catalogue.I understand this is a 1.0 release and I hope this sort of feature can be included in the future as it is in Lightroom Classic.Currently for example, my main cloud storage for my PC, phone and tablet is OneDrive. Any photo I take on my phone or tablet is automatically uploaded there, and my DSLR photos are automatically imported into the OneDrive camera roll as well. It's just super convenient that any photo I take is automatically imported into my Lightroom for sorting and organising at a later date no matter what device I capture the photos on.

I recently discovered that the 16x10 standard crop size is useful for creating side-by-side 10x8 posts on Instagram. This was removed on the latest update. The 1x2 size is helpful for creating side-by-side square posts, but most of the time I prefer the 10x8 format. Please bring this back. 🙂 This would also be helpful on Lightroom mobile.  Thank you!

As I've spent years sorting all of my photographs out into folders and sub-folders I naturally want to maintain that in Lightroom CC. How can I import hundreds of different folders and sub-folders into Lightroom CC and maintain their structure? Even when importing from an existing Lightroom Classic Catalog, there doesn't seem to be a way to automatically maintain the folder structure. I don't want to add 50,000+ photographs and have to re-organise them Any thoughts ??

I like to filter out non organized (not in albums, nor folders) photos in order to delete them after having saved them on external disk in order to save space on the cloud. 

When using the Auto Add new photos feature now Lightroom Mobile searches in every folder in the device. I'd like to choose which folder to look for. I don't want Lightroom sync WhatsApp images.

Lightroom CC takes up too much bandwidth when uploading. Need to add a feature to control this so that people with large collections don't flood their internet connection.

I made some presets for me to use on my Lr mobile (android) and now I wanted to share them with my friends. But, I could only find people explaining how to di this in the deskop version. Can someone help me? Or this is actually impossible?

When I use the option to specify a different storage location than my C: drive (another drive that I use solely for storing media) Lightroom shows a bogus file path ' ""\Photos' and still shows that I have no space on the C: drive, despite me setting a different drive to store my photos.This makes lightroom unusable on my setup.

Uploaded "orphains" cannot be identified. They are visible in "All pictures", but not flagged as such (nor or those belonging to an album flagged as such).

Why doesn’t Adobe modify the AppleTv Lightroom App so that we can use the photos as a screen saver for AppleTv.  Additionally, why can’t I airplay the photos in Lightroom to my AppleTv for viewing on my TV.  Thanks.

LR Classic has very powerful import file renaming. Right now, LRCC feels like very niche supplement, but fills a need I actually want... mobile lightroom as a starting point.  I want to import, have proper filenames, then go back to my desktop and have everything there ready to go.

I would like to switch to the new Lightroom CC, but being able to sort images in my collections/albums by Custom/User Order like I can in Classic is an absolute requirement for my workflow.

We’ve seen several requests about the desire to allow setting different sort orders for album shares in Lightroom web. While we’ve recently added options to re-sort by different sort criteria in Lightroom Web, this won’t allow for live sorting or user-controlled sorting in shares.A few things I’ve seen:Request  1: I like to have a single share for family/friends to folllow, which might have lots (thousands) of photos. It’s important that they can see the newest photos.Request 2: I have a specific sort order I want to use for client proofing/review (I should note that we have a tech preview for client proofing available on https://lightroom.adobe.com/)To help us build the right features, we’d love to get more info on what you’re trying to enable for the folks you share with. It’d also be useful to know which Lightroom clients you use.Thanks!

When outputting any image from Lightroom mobile directly to any service, the image needs to have, at minimum, a © NAME simple watermark placed upon it. I don't think we need full functionality of the Watermark editor in Lightroom desktop but we do need the minimum functionality of the Simple Watermark in Lightroom's Export dialog. Until there is a way to mark an image, why would anyone consider using LR mobile to post anywhere? NOTE: The original post was a request for a simple, text based watermark which has been implemented. I ask because when you export in Lightroom CC, called "save to," the only parameter you can adjust is the pixels. Nothing else that I can see. In other versions of Lightroom you get a whole bunch of parameters to adjust, including DPI. Clients specify sometimes the settings that they want. Or another possibility is that I'm doing it wrong, and if so, could someone let me know how to export and adjust things like DPI.

I would like my photos to stay on the screen longer than the slow setting allows. Setting a custom time would be ideal.
