Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi Adobe Lightroom Team,I am a dentist, and I use Lightroom (Cloud version) daily to manage and edit the clinical photography and documentation of my patients.In dental documentation, precision is vital. For every patient, I take standardized photos from multiple angles—including frontal and profile facial views, smile close-ups, and intraoral arches. To analyze treatment progression, orthognathic alignment, or orthodontic evolution accurately, all of these photos must be aligned perfectly frame-by-frame.Currently, doing this in Lightroom Desktop is an exhausting, imprecise guessing game using the standard crop grid and its variations. It is highly frustrating and inefficient for clinical standards.I want to make it absolutely clear: I do not want to constantly switch between different programs (like Photoshop) just to achieve a simple alignment. Lightroom should be able to handle this natively.We urgently need a "Ghost Overlay" (Onion Skin) or a "Custom Reference Guide" inside the Cro

Currently the new Lightroom will show all photos in a folder when using it to manage the offline storage (using it as a faster and lightweight alternative to Classic, but not using cloud storage), so if I import both raw and jpg files, they will show as adjacent photos, which is annoying. Although I can filter the files using extensions, but it doesn't work well if I have multiple cameras from multiple vendors, thus with different raw extensions names. So can Lightroom add a feature which automatically hides the same name jpg, and only showing raw files, just like how Lightroom Classic behaves in the catalog, which will import (copy/move) both jpg and raw, but only show raw if its raw+jpg.

Import profiles are missing from Lr, and something as basic as specifying 0 manual sharpening when sharpening is handled prior to import requires changing the slider from 40 (default) to 0 for every single image.

I have used Lightroom for years, and the latest import workflow is a spectacular example of redesigning something that was already working well and making it substantially less efficient.I am importing photographs from an OM System camera card. Instead of giving me a clear, conventional import dialog, Lightroom now takes me through a confusing selection screen with tiny thumbnails and no obvious Import button. I had to hunt around simply to figure out how to proceed.This isn’t making Lightroom easier to use. It is adding friction to one of the most fundamental things photographers do.Experienced photographers don’t need Lightroom to hide basic functions behind redesigned interfaces, AI features, or simplified workflows. We need to be able to put a memory card into the computer, see our photographs at a useful size, select what we want, and import them efficiently.Please give users a straightforward import option and stop treating experienced photographers as if they need fundamental ph

Since LR has this option in the latest version on desktop, it would be great to add tone curves inside masking tools on iPad as well.

Hello Adobe team,   I'm a dedicated Lightroom Mobile user with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which has powerful hardware and Super HDR capabilities. Despite this, Lightroom Mobile's HDR viewing and editing features are only available on select Google Pixel devices, leaving out other high-performance devices like the S24 Ultra. Given the advanced capabilities of the S24 Ultra, there is no technical reason it should be excluded from full HDR support.   Expanding this functionality to include more devices would enhance the experience for many users who have invested in top-tier smartphones. I hope Adobe considers updating Lightroom Mobile to enable HDR features across a broader range of supported devices.   Thank you for your attention to this matter.

One thing I think the mobile and new LR CC are missing is the Develop History information. I think this is particularly important in this cloud based context: for example I may have done an edit on my phone that is not quite right (I fumbled it, screen was too small or whatever) and then need to back it out or change it when I see it on a desktop. If this could also be synced with the LR Classic develop history, this would be very powerful.

Is it possible to see editing history in Lightroom mobile?  I made changes to a photo many months ago and do not recall what I did.  I want to do similar changes to the rest of my photos from that shoot and I usually edit in Lightroom Classic.  I know I can copy and paste the settings but I would like to know specifically what changes I made.

I’ve always had an easy time dragging and dumping photos from my filmstrip into a subfolder through the menu panel on the left. Since updating Lightroom (I hadn’t in a while due to PC issues), there is now a big thumbnail preview of the photo covering a large area, and it’s difficult to see which folder or subfolder I’m about to dump the photo into. Selecting the wrong folder will be incredibly annoying. I have to move the cursor around a bit as I’m dragging the photo to get a glimpse of what’s behind. This presents difficulties as I try to organize my photos. Mainly, I’m narrowing down the selection of photos I have to process by putting the “not great but maybe worth keeping” photos into their own subfolder…I just want it to act the way it used to when I’d drag a photo around.

Leider sind die Shortcuts in allen lightrooms verschieden meiner Meinung nach sollte es alles angeglichen sein und ein Schema sein z.B beim Zuschneiden ist der Shortcut R in Lightroom classic und in den anderen Versionen gibt es diesen Shortcut nicht noch schlimmer finde ich die Version in Lightroom alle Einstellungen auf dem Bild von der Vorgängerversion zu übernehmen dies funktioniert in den Lightroom Versionen für Apple und für Windows 11 gar nicht hier muss man mehrere Klicks machen um die Einstellungen zu kopieren um sie dann in den nachfolgebild einzufügen aber auf der iPad Version gibt es diesen Button deshalb sollte man ihn generell einführen alle Einstellungen vom vorherigen Bild auf das aktuelle Bild zu übertragen das macht Sinn und spart sehr viel Zeit

The Brilliance slider on Apple Photos really helps with that little extra pop after you’ve finished an image edit - it gives the photo significantly more life, and the unique combinations of adjustments that it uses are almost impossible to achieve in Lightroom - i’ve got quite a bit of editing experience and it would take a lot of selective luminance masking to come anywhere close! I’d love this slider as it would mean I don’t have to go and edit my lightroom edits in apple photos afterwards, improving my workflow!

My previous setup was like this:X-T1 + lightroom 6 + loupedeckafter upgrading to X-T3 my lightroom 6 turned out to be outdated so I upgraded to lightroom CCbut now loupedeck is not working at all, and here is a statement from that company:Currently only Classic CC is supported due to the way Adobe has constructed their software. Lightroom CC does not have the required framework to support SDK or extended plugin support. We would love to support Lr CC but at this given moment it is not possible.It would be great if my loupedeck can work out of the box with CC on desktop for windows 🙂

Allow bulk "Update Ai Edits" for Lightroom Mobile. Context:I was bulk editing a set of photos. I did this by selecting the photos and pasting the settings.When I attempted to bulk download these edited photos, the app prompts that the photos need to have "Update Ai Edits" performed.  Doing the "Update Ai Edits" is tedious, hence this feature request.

When I am on the desktop version of Lightroom Cloud, I can very easily click on a folder I’ve created, for example I have one called “Completed Work”, and when I do that, I am shown all of the images contained in the various albums inside that folder, which correspond to different projects and things. On mobile (ios in this case, though I’m told it’s the same on android), I am forced to click into each separate album before I can see anything at all and there is no way to corral all of the images in that folder in a single view, which wastes a lot of time and is frustrating. Please treat folders and albums exactly the same regardless of platform, and allow us to click a folder on mobile and view all of its contents, just as we can on desktop. It’s got nothing to do with a limitation of loading or displaying so many images at once, because all of those files (along with ~30,000 others) are included in the All Photos view and that has no problem loading at all on mobile.   [and reiterati

Two years ago, Apple released the iPhone 16 series which included the new ‘camera control’ button. Unfortunately, while most third-party camera applications (and of course the stock iOS camera app) support launching from this button, Lightroom still does not.Please add the option to launch the Lightroom camera directly from the Camera Control button.

When exporting, you’re sometimes met with a dialogue window alerting you that “some” photos need to be updated before they can be exported - this is fine, thanks for the heads up, but I want to see what photos they are before blindly confirming that I want to update them. There should be a “show me” button that immediately goes to a smart filter with all photos needing “AI updates” plainly filtered in front of me, so I can choose to go and do them myself to monitor what actually changes. On top of this, we used to be able to do this ourselves with a context menu “Update AI Masks” - this was taken away for whatever reason. Plainly, I want to see what needs to be updated before I commit to updating it.

Prior to version 9.4, if you pressed T while selecting an image that was already in the target album, a warning prompt would appear to confirm you want to remove the image from the target album if you hadn't previously marked the "Remove photo from album" prompt as "Don't show again". As of version 9.4, removing a photo from an album via T is treated differently from other methods of removing photos, and this prompt isn't shown. This is a very negative change. On slower systems (or whenever Lightroom is mysteriously performing worse than it should on all my very diverse systems despite Adobe not being able to identify any issues) the toast notification that pops up when pressing T, as well as the count of photos on the album list were both so laggy that this warning prompt was the only safety net I could rely on when quickly adding photos to a target album if I had to press T multiple times because I wasn't sure if it registered the first time. Furthermore, as you can't quickly see if

I am a professional wildlife photographer and safari guide, and I regularly spend extended periods working in remote parts of Africa where internet access is extremely limited or completely unavailable.On a typical trip I can generate hundreds of gigabytes of RAW files, and sometimes close to 1 TB. A cloud based workflow is therefore simply not practical. Even when some internet is available, uploading that volume of data from a remote safari camp is impossible.I would love to replace my laptop with an iPad Pro for much of my field workflow. The iPad is powerful, has an excellent display and would significantly reduce the amount of equipment I need to carry. As a photographer already travelling with multiple camera bodies, large lenses, storage drives and other equipment, removing a laptop from my kit would make a genuine difference.What prevents me from doing this is Lightroom’s dependence on importing images into its cloud based ecosystem.I would like Lightroom for iPad to have the s

Now that the iPhone 15 Pro has an action button that can be customized to run any app Shortcut, it would be great to be able to use it to launch the Lightroom Camera. However, there seems to be no such shortcut available at present.  

It is very useful, especially for street photography, to be able to quickly open the camera without face id unlock and so on. Just press camera control button while getting the phone out of the pocket, and you are ready to shoot. Many different iOS camera apps already implement it, but I find Lightroom camera the best out now, especially with instant upload to the cloud.

Please bring AI Denoise to Lightroom Mobile on Android. It would be extremely useful for Android photographers working with high-ISO RAW files.As an event photographer, I often have to work in low light, with high ISO, and using standard noise reduction sliders makes the image soft, whereas using AI denoise maintains detail.Lightroom Mobile already supports RAW editing and other advanced AI features on Android, so having AI Denoise available as well would greatly improve the mobile workflow and provide better feature parity between platforms.

I'm probably at the low end of the prosumer category when it comes to photography. I've been using Lightroom for a couple of years. I love the multiple platform feature on the new CC, but geotagging images has always been important for me (enough so that onboard GPS is a mandatory feature when I look for a camera). I had been adding locations to older images in what's now CC Classic. Are we going to get that ability in the new CC? Even more importantly, will the new AI-based search allow us to do things like pull pictures based on location? And, if so, will we be able to do things like define a radius? This was all possible when we had the maps panel, but seems to be challenging now.
