Adobe is excited to receive requests for additional features you need to enhance your workflow. What can you do to increase the chances of being heard? Don't use the words "Feature Request" in your post's title. Search for and add to existing feature requests rather than creating duplicates. There is no advantage to creating a second request for any existing feature request. One request per thread! When creating an Idea or Feature Request thread, please keep requests for features to ONE request per thread. Doing this will allow others to vote on a single, specific feature and not confuse Upvotes amongst a list of feature requests. If an Idea thread has multiple requests in it, a moderator may ask you to split the multiple requests up into multiple threads so others can vote. In the event there remain multiple requests on a thread, the first item requested will be the arbiter of where the thread will be cross-referenced or merged. Describe how the feature will help your workflow. Des

I would like to see Masking for Objects in Lightroom Mobile. Make it smart and content aware so you can select things like trees, mountains etc.. Have the selection tool a brush, radial, and square options.
Dear Adobe Lightroom Team, I am writing to complain about a long-standing issue with Lightroom Mobile on Android: imported photographs are displayed from the last shot to the first shot by default. For photographers working through an actual shoot, this is backwards. If I photograph a sequence from image 001 through image 500, I expect Lightroom to show me 001 first and allow me to work forward through the shoot chronologically. Instead, Lightroom shows the newest photograph first, forcing me to select Reverse Order. The bigger problem is that Lightroom does not provide a proper global preference to make chronological, oldest-to-newest sorting my permanent default. I have been dealing with this behaviour for a very long time, and having to repeatedly reverse the order is an unnecessary frustration in an otherwise excellent mobile photography workflow. I specifically use Lightroom Mobile/Cloud and do not want Lightroom Classic to be the solution. Lightroom Mobile should be capable of re
Your latest update which I wish I hadn't updated to has removed the choose your best photo feature on mobile Android devices. It wasn't perfect, but it was a good place to start my editing process.
It would be great to have an option in Lightroom to use the metadata Title field as the exported filename. For photographers who publish images online, this would make it much easier to use meaningful, SEO-friendly filenames directly from Lightroom, without having to rename files after export. I think it could save quite a bit of time in many workflows.
(feature request for as per reply)Right now, if my display isn’t 1000 nits or whatever, HDR highlights above the available headroom are simply clipped, which makes the image look ugly.I can understand why this might be useful in Edit mode for a more “accurate” view, but in View mode I think the image should be tone-mapped to fit the display.Interestingly, Lightroom for web already works this way: when viewing pictures, the highlights are properly compressed (at least on Chrome), while Edit mode looks the same as the native apps and remains clipped. It would be nice to be able to properly view HDR photos on displays that don’t have a bazillion nits of brightness, including EDR iPads and MacBooks (and other displays, including Windows devices) at high brightness, where the available HDR headroom can be quite small.
Gilbert
Please bring AI Denoise to Lightroom Mobile on Android. It would be extremely useful for Android photographers working with high-ISO RAW files. As an event photographer, I often have to work in low light, with high ISO, and using standard noise reduction sliders makes the image soft, whereas using AI denoise maintains detail.Lightroom Mobile already supports RAW editing and other advanced AI features on Android, so having AI Denoise available as well would greatly improve the mobile workflow and provide better feature parity between platforms.
Hello Adobe team, I'm a dedicated Lightroom Mobile user with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which has powerful hardware and Super HDR capabilities. Despite this, Lightroom Mobile's HDR viewing and editing features are only available on select Google Pixel devices, leaving out other high-performance devices like the S24 Ultra. Given the advanced capabilities of the S24 Ultra, there is no technical reason it should be excluded from full HDR support. Expanding this functionality to include more devices would enhance the experience for many users who have invested in top-tier smartphones. I hope Adobe considers updating Lightroom Mobile to enable HDR features across a broader range of supported devices. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
I’d like to request proper support for Smart Albums syncing to iPad within Adobe Lightroom. At the moment, Smart Albums (or Smart Collections) created on desktop do not carry across to mobile devices in a usable way. While I understand collections can be synced, the actual rules and automation behind Smart Albums are lost. This is a real limitation for workflows like mine.I manage a large, structured image archive (40,000+ images), using Smart Albums to organise content by:Location (e.g. streets and areas) Subject (buildings, features, etc.) Status (new, ready, published)During the working week, my primary device is an iPad, it’s what I use on the go to review, select, and prepare content. Desktop access is limited to evenings or weekends.Because Smart Albums don’t sync, I have to:Manually recreate album structures Copy images between albums Rely on workarounds instead of automationThis adds unnecessary time and increases the risk of inconsistencies. What would help:Smart Albums syncing
Hi, I have an issue with Lightroom (installed from the adobe cloud). Search is broken for me all the time when searching for words in file names. I can't get it to come back with any results for anything. It says "Oh no! A blackhole"
When a client picks favorites through a gallery tool like Pixieset, the delivery workflow is: copy the list of filenames, paste into Lightroom's search, pull up just those photos to edit. Right now pasting more than 1-2 filenames breaks the search entirely, either no results or an actual error screen ("Oh no! A black hole"). This happens on both Lightroom desktop and the web app.Lightroom Classic already handles this correctly (Library Filter > Text > Filename > Contains Any, works with any number of pasted names), so the underlying logic clearly exists. It's just missing from cloud/CC search. This would help any photographer who delivers galleries and needs to pull a client's exact picks back into Lightroom to edit, which is a pretty universal part of the job, not an edge case.
En la aplicación de android me pongo en máscaras y no viene la función para seleccionar objetos para cambiarles de color
I have a workflow where I convert my Sony ARW files to DNG files as they are much more space efficient. Currently I have to do this through Lightroom Classic using the Library menu -> Convert to DNG. It would be incredible convenient to do the DNG conversion direcly in the cloud, on the android app or at least on the windows lightroom. This way I would not have to deal with the brittle sync between Lightroom Classic and Lightroom, and everything could be done on the go.
I'm probably at the low end of the prosumer category when it comes to photography. I've been using Lightroom for a couple of years. I love the multiple platform feature on the new CC, but geotagging images has always been important for me (enough so that onboard GPS is a mandatory feature when I look for a camera). I had been adding locations to older images in what's now CC Classic. Are we going to get that ability in the new CC? Even more importantly, will the new AI-based search allow us to do things like pull pictures based on location? And, if so, will we be able to do things like define a radius? This was all possible when we had the maps panel, but seems to be challenging now.
Allow bulk "Update Ai Edits" for Lightroom Mobile. Context:I was bulk editing a set of photos. I did this by selecting the photos and pasting the settings. When I attempted to bulk download these edited photos, the app prompts that the photos need to have "Update Ai Edits" performed. Doing the "Update Ai Edits" is tedious, hence this feature request.
Bring back the catagories for suggested presets.. why was it removed it was so useful for finding the vibe while editing?
The extensive HDR support across all versions of Lightroom is amazing. However, sharing the images is still challenging and it would be incredibly helpful if Adobe Portfolio supported HDR photos (ideally shared as gain maps). The existing HDR support in LR Web Galleries is great (example). However, it lacks the capabilities many photographers are seeking to share their work. Adobe Portfolio is a much better fit for many people, especially given it's included with Creative Cloud and the excellent Lightroom integration.
Please add motion blur effect in blur effect list, motion blur like panning photography,
The issue is that the app has features like generative expand and generative remove, and I want these to not be in my app. I will migrate from Adobe completely if this isn’t fixed.
I pay for a subscription mainly to access community presets in the recommended tab. You changed this section to no longer include the sub categories (dark, warm, cinematic, etc). No idea why you’d remove that. Without it I won’t have a need for a paid subscription any longer
I'm primarily a Lightroom Classic user but use the cloud-version on my ipad so I also. have it installed on my Macbook. Today I discovered that "Community" and "Learn" takes up a lot of screen space on the left side panel. But I can't find out how to remove these from my left panel. I use Lightroom for my own photos and have no interest in using it for browsing other peoples photos. Do I have to go back to a previous version or will this bug be fixed?
how do I recreate the smart album for photos without keywords in the cloud based version please
I cannot understand why some tools are implemented on only the mobile (iPad/Phone/Web) platforms. One example is "Add Border and Share" - this should be on all platforms (especially the desktop version) .. Maybe this is down to the feature name "share". Would a better name be "Export with Border"
