I recently updated my computer from windows 7 to windows edge 10. before that adobe flash player was working fine; I could listen to Pandora and watch videos online. Now that I have updated, it keeps telling me that I need to download it. However when I try, the message says that it is already incorporated in windows edge 10. I tried following the tutorial and trouble shooting the problem and it still will not work.

We are using Adobe Media Server(trail version) for one to many Audio/Video Streaming like 1 publisher and 50 receivers.I am using RTMFP connections to an AMS and streams are published in P2P multicast groups by passing the groupspec to the NetStream constructor.I'm facing the issue that, the upstream bandwidth is increasing on every peer connectedKindly help us to come out from this issue(not multiple upstream bandwidth) or any alternate solution ?Message was edited by: dhinakar chinnaraj

I'm trying to secure the Administrator Console on AMS with a cert / key pair. The eventual goal is to secure the admin interface so that we can apply an Access Control agent that only works with SSL. I've the hardening guide as well as several portions of the "Enabling Security Features" guide, however those seem to only go over how to configure the RTMPS security. I'm really just looking to modify the apache config to secure the web interface however, with the non-standard Apache configuration I'm unsure how to go about doing this.Any information or direction would be welcome.Cheers,Drew F.

This has become quite urgent/serious at the business level for us so any help is greatly appreciated...First, this issue is very intermittent and we can't consistently reproduce it and we have seen it over the past several monthsThe symptom is that we end up with no video on the HDS/HLS output from Livepkgr, and the audio continues coming through.  The RTMP stream is fine.  We are using AMS 5.0.THANKS

We just updated our Flash media server's Apache server to the latest patch.After the update the HLS encoding from FMLE 3.2 are all failing to connect to the server the resulting errorThe FMS URL and Stream text have not changed in the encoders.The AMS is showing the following error:Wed 03:53:31 PM: (_defaultRoot_, _defaultVHost_) : Application (livepkgr) is not a valid signed application; loading access denied.Wed 03:53:31 PM: (_defaultRoot_, _defaultVHost_) : Application (livepkgr/_definst_) is not a valid signed application; loading access denied.Wed 03:53:31 PM: Connection rejected by server. Using AMS 5 to record multiple videos from a web cam. It _mostly_ works but odd things are happening. Specifically, every so often I get a 2 - 5 second pause at the start of the recording. IE it's just a freeze frame, with no audio. I am recording five videos. Sometimes all five are fine. Sometimes every other one has this pause. Sometimes just one of the five has a pause... ie there seems to be no rhyme or reason.I start the recording with this:vidStream.attachCamera(cam);vidStream.attachAudio(mic);vidStream.publish("user" + questionNumber.toString(), "record");and then I have a timer that will stop the video like so:vidStream.attachCamera(null);vidStream.attachAudio(null);Have tried vidStream.close() with same result.That's all it is... Any thoughts as to why this is happening. Pretty soon I'm going to abandon AMS and use the FlashyWrappers AIR encoder as all I need is client side encoding. I am recording video from a web cam using Adobe Media Server. Recording to .flv at 640x360I have another set of already recorded .flv files - also at 640x360, and output from Premiere.I am trying to use FFMPEG to concat them into one video using a file list text file. When I run the ffmpeg command I get many errors about missing headers, 0x0 frame size, etc. on the second (AMS recorded) flv. The resulting video plays the pre-recorded one and then gets totally distorted when playing the AMS one.I have tried using the -re (reEncode) option of FFMPEG, also with no luck.I do realize that the pre-recorded ones use ON2VP6 and the AMS ones use I think Sorenson Spark, but have also tried converting the flv to mp4 and then using a pre-recorded mp4 to concat and still garbage.So - what I need is - does anyone know how I can stitch/concatenate videos together on the fly - some from Premiere, some from AMS? It seems like it should be so easy.

I have AMS setup for VOD.  Using the specific URLs provided by AMS, iPhone clients and Flash player can connect to these video streams.  Pretty easy!In addition to connecting to these static video files, I'd like the AMS to connect to a live RTMP stream.  And then using specific URLs, I'd like for iPhone & Flash Player to view it.  Is that possible?

I am new to Adobe Media Server. I already install version 5 and live streaming using wirecast it only works on desktops and laptops but not working on mobile devices,I use the Jwplayer ver 5.0.Thanks

I created a HTML file to call object SampleMediaPlayback.swf passing the rmtp path of a mp4 file with 10:38 minutes of HD video.Occurs that when I try it at the server all works fine but when I call it from the network in another client machine the html page is loaded, the video starts but after 10 or 15s it stops ...At the AMS console I can see the streaming be created and the file been served as recorded.At the log I can see PLAY and STOP with x-status 31 ...Somebody knows how to solve this ?Regards.

Hi allI am using AMS 5 for streaming live and on demand contents to my clients. Some of my contents are multilingual (e.g. media files and live streams); then they have multiple audio tracks. When I want to access them by rtmp link; always the first audio track is played at client side. Can anybody please guide me how to select some other desired audio track?Regards
