I plan to provide a service where users send me their downloaded Mixamo characters, and I return a rigged version compatible with Unreal Engine 5. The rigging process involves adapting the Mixamo character to the UE5 skeleton, ensuring compatibility for animation purposes.Questions:1. Redistribution of Modified Assets: Is it permissible to return the rigged character files to users, given that the base Mixamo character was provided by them? 2. Commercial Use: If the rigged assets are returned to users for their personal use, does this scenario align with Mixamo's terms regarding redistribution and commercial use?I aim to comply with Mixamo's licensing terms and would appreciate any insights or guidance on this matter.Thank you for your assistance.

I'm getting this error with my colored version of this character, but when i was figuring out how to use mixamo i used another version and it worked fine, but when i put the color version it doesn't work 😞

I am trying to rig my own model which have seperate uv for skin, hair, eyes and shoes. And I textured them individually. the whole uv sheet is not clean but individually yes. I added the textures and obj and mtl into a zip as mentioned before, but this is the outcome. I am still new to this rigging and dont know how to fix this. Please help. 

Hello everyone, I have been trying for the past week to upload a character created with Human Generator in Blender. I exported the character into a wavefront format (.obj). When I enter Mixamo and click on upload, I upload the .obj file but all I can see in grey and no character. I have tried googling for an answer or a workaround and nothing has helped. Why won't my character load properly please and how do I fix it so it doesn't happen again? I am using Blender 2.92 and 2.93 with the same results. Thanks

Hi there, I've been trying to figure out what is causing this all night - I've made a model in Blender that uses materials to color it. It works fine with Mixamo and rigs/animates properly, but when I export it and then import the FBX into Unity it always has a weird shadowy/noisy overlay on the surface of the mesh that I can't get rid of, even if I change the materials. It doesn't seem to be related to lighting (I just have environmental lighting with no shadows)... I feel like I'm missing something really simple, any ideas?The screenshot shows the same models next to each other - the noisy one has been through Mixamo. Aside from that they seem to have exactly the same settings, except the Mixamo one uses a Skinned Mesh Renderer rather than a mesh renderer.

Hey, dose anyone has issue with mixamo? I have upload my character on mixamo and cool it loaded everything fine, im choosing simple animation and it getting stuck on loading screen, its been loading already 6 hours and nothing, my Internet was pretty quick Upload on 25MB/s.I have tried uploading through Microsoft Edge, i tried restarting computer and logging on another account but nothing helped, anyone knows how i can fix it?

Hello, I have a school project on 3D and I created my own character on C4D which I auto-rigged on Mixamo.Everything works fine but I don't understand why the stomach breaks like that. The other parts are great and are super smooth. I tried to refine the stomach, lengthen it, clean my poly etc.... nothing works... Do you have any ideas on this problem please?? 🙂 Also if you know about animation, I would like to give him a t-shirt but I'm afraid that this one will twist during the animation or idk or that maximo does not support clothes. Hi everyone,   There was an error in the last Mixamo add-on (version 1.11.10) for Blender when you click on the Edit Control Shape button. This has now been fixed in a new version which can be downloaded through the link attached. I have a blend model and have successfully uploaded as a obj file to mixamo. I would now like the colored version but can't seem to get an fbx file to upload. I have made sure that the copy and embedded textures are clicked but the file can't be uploaded. I'm assuming the file is to big or there is an other issue with how it's set up in blender but I dont have a good understanding of blender so am struggling to find an answer I can understand . Any advice is appreciated.

Others will pay to use my plugins or web pages, and it contains Mixamo‘s function.Is this allowed? Or what I should pay for it?If it is not allowed, can I provide an URL or iframe to link to Mixamo official web page? Users will register their own Adobe account and use Mixamo's features, I won't modify anything on Mixamo's webpage, except of translating its text into other languagesI will not use any models or action assets of mixamo, only the bone binding function.

Hello, everyoneI am trying to use the API to access mixamo for easier rigging of my 3D character models, but it seems that mixamo is only available on the web and cannot be accessed through the API.Is there any way to access mixamo through coding so that I can rig bones to multiple models more conveniently?Thanks a lot!

Hi everyone,I've been having this issue for a while now and i looked every video and forum i could find. I'm writing down some details that could've been the problem but wasn't;-My FBX file is only 600 kb-It doesn't have any normal/roughness maps etc.-My character's size is small.-My export settings are the same as I've used always.I didn't have any problems and could rig my character as i wanted, this error popped up suddenly and i can't use mixamo anymore, i really need to fix this issue, please help 😞  I also tried to use different models, same error  I

 

Hello All, Irrespective of which character is selected, the pose window only shows the Male Bot and that is what's downloaded.The pose is correct but the character isn't.I've tried this from two different browsers (Firefox and Edge) but have the same issue.I've included a screenshot showing one of the characters that I selected. As you can see, it states that it is a female character but onscreen and the download file fail to refresh to include those details.I'm using the latest version of Windows 11 as are both browsers.

This upgrade means you can seamlessly export and upload the latest FBX file versions or earlier. And if your character uses Physically Based Rendering (PBR) materials, those materials will also be passed through seamlessly (although they will not display in Mixamo).

SOS. I have not used Mixamo since Adobe took it over. BUT now I got problems. So..I want to take a Poser character, exported as an appropriate format and upload to mixamo to apply a simple one of their animations., then download as an appripriate format and load into Cinema4D. Nightmare city .I've tried exporting the figure (M4) as FBX and obj, but the FBX comes in with mangled textures and the obj comes in with no textures. I addition, the pants on the character do not move with the figure.Can any clever soul tell me the correct workflow to achieve my aims?best regards, David

I uploaded a character to mixamo https://www.mixamo.com/#/ that has 6 textures embedded into the FBX. The output looks good as seen in the screenshot below but when I click download Collada, it's only downloaded with 1 texture in textures file. Since the texture is that of the tongue, the output in Blender looks like this:Is this a Mixamo website bug or is there anything I can do to fix this? What is the reasoning for this result? It randomly picked out the tongue texture.

I downloaded a mixamo rig and it seems to play fine in Blender but when I import it into BeamNG I get this weird flickering. I asked in their discord if this is a bug in the game but they claimed it's a problem with the model. What could possibly be the issue? 

I have the problem where I pick one of the animations and change the arm-space and then download it without skin, when put in blender it wordks fine but as soon as i put it on the model (which is the same model as the one i used in mixamo with the same starting position and everything) the arms revert back to the default option or something.

Mixamo loading for me. Downloading any animation takes ages.Any one facing similar issue?
