Officially? Are you sure?   Accessing files in the finder on Network drives using a Mac works in Illustrator, premeire pro, and photoshop. I do it everyday,   Indesign is the only one that does not act like any of those adobe apps. (yes, I know each app has its own development and programming team. And they are not in the same room, building, or city, so they do not talk to each other to make our user experience the same on each app.)   Maybe the other app teams just add it in for an extra feature without telling Adobe heads. I went back to Bridge 12.0.3 and will use it until it stops working. hopefully, they bring back to multiple windows or maybe there is another app similar? In my years, I have learned that change is inevitable whether it is good or bad, it will happen and for the most part, there is nothing we can do about it. I reverted back to an older version. I know we are stuck with what any app developer does, i mean if we do not like what they do, create our own app to do what and how we want it. but this is just stupid. I do not know why they feel the need to change, sorry remove, things that have been around for years just because they feel like it. i know, i know it is their software they can do what they want. but if they want to sell it, it should be what we want.   Do they not ask us what features we like and what we do not and what we might want it to do? no.   they fiddle with it thinking what they do is what we should be doing.   I LOVE BRIDGE and use it DAILY. I use multiple windows to compare directories and such. this new way is NOT the same thing. I have to go back to the main window (main monitor) just to navigate then go to the other monitor where I have the other new content tab and view, then back, and it is not fluid or productive at all.   If there was an alternative, I would be there. Thank you, Charles. But the personal profile, I NEVER CREATED, still exists. and I keep getting notification emails to pay my bill. interesting. when i go to change anything on my profile, there is a button that reads "Edit on Adobe Account."   I click it and it goes to the personal profile account with all the red notifications. UPDATE YOUR PAYMENT...   I am logged into the business acount on a different browser and i came to the forums and saw my post and clicked profile and then edit on adobe account and it took me to the personal profile.   OH, THIS JUST GETS EVEN BETTER.   I am trapped on a loop in a profile that will not go away. ... and this is entirely odd as well, since this post is generated from a completely different email address not connected to any account with adobe other than these forums.  I know which one is which when i am logged in. the business one has a butterfly and the personal profile has my name with a red crossed-out circle over it. April 7, 2022. the issue is still unresolved.   The app should have a way to filter out fonts we will never use in photoshop. thank you photoshop for listing all the fonts that are installed, but please give us a way to remove fonts so we do not have to scroll past 100 foreign language fonts to get to the bottom of the list.   Although, you wonder why My Mac OS needs such fonts when I am using English. ME TOO!   11.6 os. mac pro. maxed on ram. just updated PS to 23.   opened it and crash.  did 8 times. shut it down, turned off computer, restarted, opened ps, crash...   unistalled it and installed 22.5.2. photoshop works.   maybe make sure the app worlks before sending it out. just a thought.   ... Greetings all, sorry for the delay in response.   The files are where they have always been for the past 6 years using bridge, they are on an external drive. never had issue before batch renaming, in fact, I have batch renamed 1200 images without a hitch.   Preferences were not touched... I waited an hour and retried the batch rename and it worked. NO i did not restart app or computer.  weirdest thing.   Very happy that things seem to be back to normal. what ever that is.   Happy 2021 everyone!!! ... View more

OKAY, so I found the problem.   I did the project in the new PRODUCTION group settings, like team projects but Production where you share files and graphics among projects -- which is what I understood it to be.   Anyway. I decided to recreate the project on its own, just as a project... every time i created a new project inside the production, it had problems. So, i closed the production all the way out to where it was NOT greyed out and created a new project in a different folder on the same drive (external).   to know which files i used, I had to open the old project open and add them manually not copy and paste from the old project.   Then I closed the old project in production, and began assembling, the keyframes were smooth and nice. I realized I had to copy and paste, or at least view the settings i had for the keyframes and when clips started and their lengths, so I opened the production project and my new project went red and the keyframes jittered.   I PANICKED. Some of the images would not even move from being 50 in size to 100 by moving the timeline pointer. I closed both projects and opened the new one, everything worked perfectly. so i continued to compare by opening the older production project knowing when I closed it the new one should be fine.   All done making the new timeline the same as the old one that had problems. I closed both, shut down PP, and opened the new project and exported.   PERFECT!!!!       So there is something to do with the production grouping that makes the images and video in the timelines go berzerk. Not using that anymore. and the projects I have in it, I am making them standalone like all the others I have created. ... View more

on the export, the jump on all images happens in the middle of the clip duration. if it is on screen for 4 seconds it happens at the two-second mark. 9 seconds on screen, it happens at 4.5 seconds into the image. just bugging me what to do to fix it. unfortunately, that is not an option at this time.   Right in the middle of many projects and time is of the essence. It would take a good day for me to prepare the drive to reformat and reinstall. I appreciate your advice and response, but I have moved the projects over to Davinci Resolve to complete them.   I am not pointing blame at anyone entity as there are many involved. and for those that will ask, yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled.   I opened the copy of the file it created the last time it crashed and it opened.   I opened the original and it crashed. opened the copy and it worked. renamed the copy and opened it and it crashed. I am using Davinci until this gets resolved. It is frustrating because every project we do is in pp. We rely too much on Adobe for our work.
