Please add a shortcut to hide the brush tip or mouse cursor. Nowadays most people use a pen tablet for  and seeing the brush tip is detrimental for the work. Please do that on the web and on the computer app.  Thank you, Andrea. 

I found out that when not zoomed in (i.e. working with an image full schreen) in 16 bits mode, the image that you see is calculated in 8 bits mode (to sav processor loading).This means that what you see is not nesessarily the correct image.(see the follwing discussion for an expanation and example)https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/what-you-see-is-not-what-you-get-image-on-screen-is-not-correct-when-working-in-16-bits-image-mode/m-p/12501259#M595871It would be great to have the option in settings to force Photoshop to always show the 16 bit image even when zoomed out. It is then up to the user to judge if he wants to opt in and risk a slower response. 

Feature request from my earlier post, where I was looking for a way to reduce file size on large print-resolution files which only contain shape layers, smart object JPGs, text, and filters. When saving a PSD, Photoshop includes rasterized copies of all layers, which makes opening files faster because it doesn't need to recalculate the pixels, but it greatly increases the PSD file size in cases where the content isn't already bitmap data. This can bloat some PSDs up to 100x the size, making them difficult to share or store (eg with Github's 100mb limit or StickerMule's 50mb limit). Photoshop already offers an option to disable maximizing PSD compatibility, I assume for the purpose of saving disk space. Could we also get an option to not include rasterized copies of every layer (and take a few extra seconds to recreate these when the file opens)? For those who use smart objects or shape layers, it could save 50-200mb on even the simplest print-resolution PSD files.&n

I use the pencil tool often for pixel art, and I have found it missing from Photoshop Online (photoshop.adobe.com). May you please add it?   Thanks 🙂

A locked layer is not really locked, when using alt+select+drag it duplicates the layer. It is very annoying, you can't a simply lock a layer and duplicate other layers by als+dragging if a locked layer is above the layer you want to select. A more logical approach would be the After Effects way of locking a layer, there it is actually locked This bug has been reported many times already and Adobe is probably never going to listen, but who knows, maybe this extra mention might help... Adobe Photoshop Version: 23.4.1 20220615.r.547

This is something for which I have longed for years... please enable a toggle on/off option to name layers based on the blend mode chosen. Currently, the name of a newly created layer defaults to "layer #", but with this suggested change it would default to "normal mode #", and it would then rename automatically (if enabled) to whatever layer mode it is changed to. For example: if the layer is changed to multiply mode its layer name would automatically change to "multiply#". And also, if enabled, would be to give the layer a unique layer color associated with that mode ( e.g. dissolve is gray, multiply is dark blue, color burn is cyan, ...  overlay is yellow, etc.). Of course, this automatic naming and coloring of layers would be an option that could be disabled, and overwritten by the user. This would be very helpful when quickly interpreting the complex layer stacks that often arise in Photoshop, and especially when merging layers. I have at times accidentally merged layers of v

Hello, I want to install the plugin to view image files with FIT extension in photoshop but I don't know how to do it.unfortunately, Photoshop does not have by default the ability to read fit files, which is the format obtained from astronomical cameras.Sincerely 

Currently Photoshop on the Web (Beta) sees the debut of the Transform tool. This new Transform tool has been given an icon in the Toolbar that looks like this:           Issues   The icon that has been chosen for the toolbar is actually the icon for the Distort operation:         Normally, the icon used to represent the tool would be the most common, and probably the first, default operation. In this case, it would be the Free transform operation:             Unfortunately, the icon for the Free transform operation is not dissimilar to the icon used to represent Shape Layers in the desktop version of Photoshop. This may give new users the impression that the icon is for a vector-based shape tool.   Proposal The desktop version of Photoshop already has an icon for the Transform operation, which lives in the Options bar rather than the Toolbar, but could be reused as the icon for the new Transform

Would be great to have an option not to select adjustment layers when using autoselect tool. 

Hi, This is my first post here and I 'd like to share some ideas about future photoshop improvements. I'm aware of worarrounds and using them on almost daily basis, but the following features in Photoshop would improve my (and probably community) process. So:1. Add function to sync photoshop settings (workspaces, pre-sets, preferencies, etc) with Creative Cloud and to restore them if required. This would be very useful for changing computers/users and creative one single consistent profile for working group.2. Add function to save layers and layer groups into library. This is very useful for repeaded layers/groups.  Kind regards,Maxim P.S. not sure if that is relevant but I'm using windows 10/11 computers for photosoph works. 

Current export options for "artboards to files" are very limited, yet it's one of the most used export tools when I handle large volumes of production (which is daily). I would love to be able to export artboards in psb format and have export options similar to legacy's "save for web".   The current 2GB limit on exporting artboards to PSD is hindering my workflow.  Most of the artwork and sizes for production are getting larger and larger, especially true for streaming platforms since their specs for art get improved fairly often. The majority of the clients require a working file for each single size vs delivering a template with all artboards included.     

I really enjoy the little videos that play when you hover your cursor over the tool icons in the toolbar (otherwise known as "rich tooltips"), but I feel very sorry for the Sponge tool as it doesn't appear to have one!   I realize that the desktop version of Photoshop doesn't have a rich tooltip for quite a few tools, but in the case of Photoshop on the web, this is the only tool not to have a rich tooltip, so it looks kind of clunky not to have one.   Many of the rich tooltips for Photoshop for the web come straight from the desktop version, but I've noticed that a few new ones have been specially created such as those for the Place tool and the Transform tool, so maybe the same team behind those could rustle up a new rich tooltip for the Sponge tool too.   Many thanks!   Phil

I want to create a shape that automatically synchronizes the size according to the length of the text. It's already a feature that Premiere Pro often uses when creating subtitles. How can I use the same functionality in Photoshop?

Hello everyone, Does anyone know how to adjust the Tool Preset Pallette width?For some reasons it needs to be scaled a lot before displaying two columns. I prefer the two columns layout since I have a lot of tools but somehow the name entry, or tab of each tools has a very wide minimu width.  Best, -Berube

Would be great if there was a way to keep a liquify saved state within a smart object locked onto the pixels it has been applied. For example- if you have an image that is 5000x3000 px and on a flat layer with a smart object and liquify moves. If you go into this file and change the size to now be 8000x3000px (or extend via a crop) the data within the smart object gets confused and you lose the position/coordinates of the liquify moves. It would be great for photoshop to read the image, what was moved on those pixels and keep that calculation regardless of the crop/scale of the image. Thank you

Hello, let me tell you an idea I know. I think it will be very useful. If you do not have Redo undo in Photoshop, then there should be no change in the middle layer, which should be Redo and Undo only in the specific layer that we select. It would be nice to have an update like this. Generally use ctrl + z and ctrl + x. It would be nice to have ctrl + (your suggestion word) + Z and ctrl + (your suggestion word) + x to Redu and Undo the specific layer I mentioned.

In PS for the iPad, is there a way to do a Shift/Ctrl/Alt/E command without a keyboard to create a new merged layer on top of the layer stack?

Good afternoon. I had a task to crop a unique format. To do this, I have to manually reduce photos to extras, which makes the task more complicated and not convenient. But unfortunately, there are only six overlays that I can't change.I could make my job easier if I could edit the crop overlays, create my lines on the crop overlay, and transform the extra into a crop overlay.

Photoshop should make tools specific to a document. for example I open one doc and the brush is hard, size at 5, and coloured orange but in a different doc it would be size 10, soft, and green.

Can you guys please add the sahre tool back to Photoshop where I can share photos by text or email please.  I wish I could go back to the version that still has it.  I hate that you have taken it off.  I used it all the time.  Please, please add it back.  Thank you!
