Photoshop

l am using Photoshop 27.8 with Windows 11 on my Lenovo Thinkbook 2025 which currently can not process RAW files after editing. When output of files is clicked to process, an icon pops up showing that an error occurred and needs to close. It also says that an error report has been generated asking whether “send report” to help them analyze the cause of the problem and explore solutions. l did have installed an older version 22.2 which works fine without any problem, but the version 27.7 is not. Is there anyone who can tell me what led to the error and how it can be resolved?

The grid lines when cropping are almost impossible to see on a light background picture. My eyesight is not what it was, I need the lines to be a darker colour. How to achieve this please?

*** This is NOT a duplicate ****** Adobe case ADB-45636464-G4B3 ***Background. I have some old clip files that I wanted to “revive”. When I am/was trying to add audio, I am getting “DynamicLink is not available”. When I am/was trying to generate video “Media Encoder” is grayed out. It happened once. Then after probably (don’t remember entire chain of events) I un-installed Photoshop beta and Photoshop was updated, the issues has been resolved on it is own. I put my clips aside for a couple of weeks, but when I get back to them now, I am getting the same message. I updated Photoshop - it did not resolve the issue.   What I know so far about the issue. All files that was mentioned before Trace database, dynamiclinkmanager etc moved to other directories. I renamed all of them plus Media Cached Files - it did not help. The issue is that if I open old clip that has audio OR trying to add audio to a new file, I can see in Task Manager that Dynamic Link Manager is trying to run, but get suspe

With the rectangle tool I created a rectangle. After like 15 minutes of not working in Photoshop and not changing anything at all the “Live Shape Control”, which shows you handles to stretch the rectangle or round the corners, was not appearing anymore.When looking into the properties I also don’t find any settings that I can change (I attached screenshots of a “working” rectangle and the “corrupted” rectangle).How can I repair the corrupted rectangle and make the “Live Shape Control” and the property settings available again? I don't have much experience with script programming in Photoshop yet. So i have a question to the script professionells.A image was send via “Edit in Photoshop” from Lightroom Classic to Photoshop.After doing the appropriate changes and editing I like to save and send back the image back to Lightroom with the same name as the original file and in the same folder.. Normally i click on Photoshop’s menu File - Save. I try to do thi with an action or a script.All attempts so far have failed. Either the user is prompted for a filename, or the photo is saved without such a prompt—but in the wrong directory, as no corresponding query was issued.My question is how can I simulate the function of the click on File-Save on an image that came from Lightroom.   I’m on Windows 11 and use Photoshop 27.7 and Lightroom 15.3.1

I optimized my images, but the file sizes are still heavy and affecting page speed. What export settings or formats do you recommend for better web performance?

I have a Mac Mini with M1 chip. I’ve been using Photoshop without any issues until a couple of days ago. I have been doing frequent edits using the remove button on specific selections without issue. Now, however, when clicking the remove button I get the error message, “Can't use the Removal Tool because your system is running Rosetta.”  I do not understand why this is suddenly an issue and have been unable to find a solution. I’ve seen the Get Info solution from posts from a few years ago, but there is no such option for disabling or unchecking open with Rosetta for me. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling without success. The only potentially relevant change I can think of is that the Mac OS updated to Tahoe 26.2 this week. The Activity Monitor lists the Photoshop app as Intel, which has been indicated as an issue, but this was not a problem until a few days ago, and, regardless, I can’t figure out how to download a different version in Creative Cloud. Lasso tool is completly broken.It starts to activate only after I move cursor few pixels which makes it not precise.also when you try to move selected pixels just a little it jumps back to original positionCan you please fix that adobe? I would like to have my basic tool working to do my job.

 My Images have a larger background than the image. Its not the canvas, that I know how to change, but each image that I open, has a much larger background (see screenshot) This problem is new after asking AI about something else, it told me to reset things, and restart Photoshop and I’ve been plagued by various problems. This is the last one, the others I’ve solved. I need the images that I open or “NEW” to revert to same dimensions as the image, instead of this very large background. Not sure what it is called.  

Photoshop is suddenly now forcing Content Credentials on ALL my exports, regardless or whether or not any AI was used, and regardless of whether or not Content Credentials (Beta) is enabled. See attached screenshots. Additionally, it’s saying the export used Adobe Firefly specifically. Not any other AI model. So it’s basically branding every export with Adobe Firefly, regardless of reality.

When I try to create a path from selection, it interpolates the pixels as intended. Is there a way to select the pixel squares specifically as squares rather than it interpolating the pixels? 

Hello Adobe Support Team,After updating to Photoshop v27.3 and v27.3.1, I encountered an issue when using the Curves adjustment.When adjusting Curves on the composite RGB channel (not individual R, G, or B channels), if I make an additional adjustment afterward, a residual or ghosted image from the previous adjustment appears. If I switch to another layer and then return to the original layer, the residual image disappears. However, if I continue adjusting the Curves, the ghosting issue reappears.I tested this behavior by downgrading to Photoshop v27.2, and the issue does not occur in that version. The Curves adjustment works as expected in v27.2 without any residual artifacts.This issue seems to be specific to v27.3 and v27.3.1 and may be related to how Curves adjustments are refreshed or rendered.Thank you for your time and support. I upgraded to Photoshop 2025, and now my swatch library is gone; also, the legacy swatches are not the legacy swatches I'm used to.When I upgraded Photoshop, I clicked the button to restore/keep all previous settings.I need to get my swatch library back. Swatches are labeled and organized with it's own title and name for each swatch.Also, I prefer the old swatch library with the gradients and patterns with a good selection of colors. This new swatch thing is ridiculous. I don't have the time to re-make new unstable swatch libraries for RGB and CYMK. I want the old library back- how?Mac Studio, Sequoia 15.1

Hi,after the latest update of the CS suite programs like Photoshop (windows) I am not able to record the executing/opening of a JSX script anymore. Updated my OS and now Adobe Creative Suite doesn’t seem to work. Photoshop will not load at all and says broken. Have tried uninstalling but now cannot re-install.

I see today that the Creative Cloud Desktop app has changed. I use (or I used to use) this app to keep track of the different versions of Ps, Br, ACR installed. I could uninstall a version or reinstall an older version. I could also see whether there were any pending updates for any or all of the different version that I have installed. I currently have three version of Ps and three versions of Br installed. But with the newest version of CC Desktop I cannot see any Br or ACR app, and I only see the latest version of Ps. It did briefly flash that a new version of Ps was available, but then it also said there was a new version of CC Desktop. Now I can’t find the update for Ps.Very, very confusing.Any insight, observations, or suggestions would be appreciated.Peter

Playing around with the gen AI partner models in #Adobe Photoshop beta today to see the difference between that workflow, and doing some old fashioned content creation using stock images. Rather than a lengthy screen share, here is a short timeline showing the process. Adding a diver to the photograph using FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] within seconds (using an M4 Max MacBook Pro) and then the Harmonise function (which is truly amazing) to blend the asset into the scene seamlessly and easily with one click. Then adding a second asset in the same way. It took longer to compile the timeline video and render than to create the scene!For production design work I would use the Adobe Firefly model, or resort to stock imagery (and the lengthy search for the right image), but you can see it is a timesaver using the Generative AI Partner models. #generativeAI  

When using “Save For Web”, the output file size is not updating when actively changing values like “lossy” or “dither”. The user must exit out of the value box in order for the file output size to update. This “bug” occurred after a recent update to the Photoshop app (27.7.0 Release) and is an undesired experience causing workflow issues. Please look into this. Thanks. 

Version 27.7.0 / WIndowsI oftentimes add many guides (by exact percentage) to my documents.So I use the New guide pop-up.It was always a quick and streamlined process as the number field was preselected, I just had to write in it and hit Enter. Now I have to manually click in (or Tab into) the number field to be able to write my numbers.This is clearly a regression because of the new pop-up. So I consider it a bug.I think the Canvas Size dialog box already had the same problem, so you could consider it a feature request there and in every other pop-up too: Always the first input field should be the active one, not the OK button which makes not much sense.That could be pushed by hitting Enter no matter what part of the pop-up is active.Thanks for looking into it!
