In the home tab of Photoshop (where it displays a grid of previously opened docs/images) , if you could enable shift + select and open multiple images at once.. 2. I think this would be helpful as would have to go back to the explorer to find those images, or resort to opening one by one. Thanks!!
Photoshop now has webp image support, which is great, but it does not work when generating image assets using the File->Generate->Image Assets workflow. Presently, it just gives an error with 'Unsupported extension: webp". Considering Adobe is advertising 'full support' for webp in photoshop, this seems like an oversight. Please roll the webp functionality into the generate image assets workflow. Why is it valuable to me:WebP files are particularly useful for web development. The generate image assets workflow is also very web-dev friendly. I would be using this combo constantly if it were possible. Instead I have to slowly export-as my way around multiple documents. The current situation feels like stepping back in time.
As a professional graphic designer and digital artist, I'm writing to request the implementation of simultaneous multi-layer liquify functionality in Adobe Photoshop. This feature would significantly enhance workflow efficiency and creative possibilities within the software.Current LimitationThe existing liquify tool, while powerful, requires artists to modify each layer individually, creating unnecessary time investment and potential inconsistencies when working with complex artwork containing multiple layers. This limitation becomes particularly apparent when working with:Character illustrations with separate line art and color layersProduct design mockups requiring shape adjustmentsPhoto manipulations with multiple adjustment layers Proposed SolutionDrawing inspiration from Clip Studio Paint's implementation, the feature would allow users to:Select multiple layers in the layers panelApply liquify transformations simultaneouslyMaintain consistent deformation across all selected
I know photoshop and fresco are different products, but it would be amazing if the vector brush from fresco were available in photoshop. I find it hard to get line work sharp and smooth in photoshop (user issue, not product issue), and often find myself taking what I'm working on to fresco to fix the line work. Anyway, love both softwares.
A really great feature for PS for iPad would be the option to activate the Apple Pencil hover feature to preview what your brush tip looks like before touching the screen, sadly this feature would only work on 4th gen and onwards iPad Pro models or so I believe but still it would be extremely useful (I personally feel I lose precision if I can't see what my brush tip would look like before adding a stroke). Also the ability to modify the smudge brush and give it custom shapes and properties like those found on the desktop version would facilitate blending for artists that created a specific brush for it.Thanks for hearing out my suggestions! Here's hoping they get picked up!
How do i find the image threshold on the iPad photoshop? Thank you. (Subject edited. Was "No menu bar on Photoshop for Ipad version 2.6.2")
Good start. Suggest you also remove poles.
I have an action that saves JPEG files. Basically, it changes to 8-bit mode, does a Save A Copy, choose file type JPEG and Saves the file. The first issue is that in PS 26.1, the folder to save to is always the same folder as that used when the action was created. I believe previously in earlier PS versions, it always brought up the most recently saved folder. If I am working in a specific folder, adjust an image as desired, save a PSD file, and then subsequently click my action to Save As JPEG, the folder where JPEG will be saved is always the same, which is very annoying because have to navigate to the current folder. You can imaging if I have multiple images to edit, this is bothersome because it takes extra time. This could be a bug that did not occur in 26.0 or previous versions. Secondly, I've asked for this before, but please change the code to always save to the same folder where the saved PSD file is located. I don't want to navigate to a different folder ever when saving a JP
Hi, The "Auto-Blend Layers" function is essential for focus stacking, but Photoshop is very slow because it currently uses only a single CPU core. Please enable multi-core support—it's 2024! Thank you. best
Hi There, if this is possible please let me know... Request:Realtime instant retouch using Photoshop for iPad's tools directly on the Desktop image - no file transfer. Nobody's got time to save a file to the cloud, open it on iPad, retouch it, then save it back to the cloud, then re-open it on desktop. Whenever I need pencil retouching, I need instant access and for it to be part of the desktop workflow. Instead of copying a file, just give us instant access to all of Photoshop for iPad's tools/controls directly on the Desktop image - like a specialised Photoshop Sidecar. The current either/or situation is pointless. Either we transfer files to the cloud, or use Sidecar/Duet with zero control. But in reality, we need both instant retouch and full control - right? Integrate Photoshop for iPad's tools into the Desktop workflow instead of only treating it like a separate app/tool/device. Hope that makes sense. Cheers, Ben
Does Adobe/Photoshop offer any scheme which would allow me to propose a new processing method for evaluation by the company whilst retaining my IPR? [removed by moderator]
Hi thereI’d love to suggest adding a "gap close" setting for the paint bucket tool. This feature, like in Clip Studio Paint, would let the tool recognize incomplete shapes and fill them without spilling outside. It would make the workflow much easier for illustrators.Thank you for considering this! All the best,Marti
I just had to reset my PC and my backup toolbar file is corrupt which left me having to manually setup my toolbar. I forgot how annoying it is to work with. There are 70+ tools but you can only see 10-11 at a time....if the box is manually expanded to fill the entire height of the screen. If using two columns, every other tool is in the left column but there's no indication of where it is when placing it. Adding or removing one tool can mess up the entire toolbar below it. A simple solution would be to offer a "Compact View" that eliminates all the dead and useless space between the names of each tool. They will ALL fit on one page without the font being too small. If not all, then at least 50 of the 70+ tools would fit just fine. Better would be an optoin for a "layout view" that would reflect the side by side nature of a two-column toolbar. Either way, the ability to only see 10-11 of 70+ tools at a time is just nuts... It reminds me of reviewing bank
I Wish to execute “TAB” to hide panels programmatically in a automation plugin with a sPSActionControl->Play call.
I'd really like an option where Liquify automatically saves a mesh as the file name I'm working on in a specific folder.I always forget to save mesh and even though it's easy to open Liquify again to Load Last Mesh and then save it, it's still easy to forget. This would be easy to make as a script if it wasn't for the fact that Liquify is it's own program within Photoshop.
I really want to have the creative cloud sync and backup my workspaces and shortcuts.Logitech Options software does this for their keyboard and mouse devices.Currently, if you do not do a manual backup and need to reset all your photoshop preferences, all your workspaces and keyboard shortcuts are gone because they're only stored locally.
As soon as I use the generative fill in Photoshop, a credit is deducted after the presentation of the result - regardless of whether the result corresponds to what I need or whether it does absolutely nothing usefull. Couldn't an alternative be introduced? After generation, the user is asked (before he can use the result) whether he wants to use it? If he answers “No”, the result is discarded, if he answers “Yes”, he can use the result and the credits are deducted? If I take my car to the garage and I am not at all happy with the work carried out, the garage must also rework it. That's how it is for me as a photographer - if the customer is not satisfied, i have to rework and can't charge the customer extra for it.
Sometimes I would need to identify the people on the photos for tweaking and modification, but, the result has not been successful. Below are some suggestions: 1. Face idenifying related FiltersIt seems that "Camera Raw Filters", "Liquidify Filter", "Neural Filters" sometimes could not identify small faces and those that are not obviously seen, and, if I ran multiple passes of the filter, it might tag the faces not in consisent number in different passes. When there are many faces, I have to try them one by one to know who is being tweaked. Further, ACR AI Mask sometimes map the wrong parts (cloths, footwear...) of the body, e.g. face of A is mapped to clothes of B, yet without allowing users to correct them. My suggestion is that (1) the faces should be tagged with consistent numbering (e.g. from top to bottom, from left to right in order of 1,2,3, ... n) amongst different calls of the filter (& amongst the functions that support "face/people", i.
As a teacher and professional I have used what I consider a very important filter, "Render: Lighting Effects. This filter still appears in the menu but has not worked on versions after 22.2. I will not update to 24.1. I am asking my students to download 22.2. I understand the 3D effects have been deleted with Render: Lighting Effects. I also understand the architecture is not the same as 3D effects. I urge Adobe to reconsider returning Render: Lighting Effects in updated versions. I do suspect it will but at additional costs like 3D effects. Lighting effects once introduced to Photoshop users becomes a valuable tool, it is perfect for concepting theatre environments and lighting. It is also valuable for digital painting and illustration. I have used it for several years with students and professionals.
The new Adjustment Brush Tool should be listed in the drop down of Brush tool. Shortcut for both is (B), so it would make sense for it to be listed in the same directory. (on that note History brush can be grouped in there too). So, make it make sense Would've made sence to follow the same logic as Remove tool, it was added in with Healing Brush, Patch tool, etc. User can always customise their shortcuts (as I did) or cycle through options using + Shift
I use the Data Sets feature a lot (in a week I use it to export dozens and even hundreds of files). I create them from several txt files. My workflow is:1. Create txt File2. Open template file in photoshop3. Go to Image> Variables> Data Sets, then press "Import" (The CSV file is the same all the time).4. Go to File> Export> Data Sets as Files dialog box5. For me, I always export the files to the same folder, so I just hit "Ok" to generate the files. I would love to have steps 3 & 4 combined - give me a button in the Exporft Data Sets as Files to import the txt file faster, especially since I don't change those -- I just need to import the txt file and export the finished PSD. This current process isn't horrible, but I have to go through 2 main menu trees to do what could be in one. I envision the new form for the Export dialog box to ask the folder and file to import, then press "Import Data", then hit "Ok" (or better, rename it to "Export Files") t
Could the arrows from the 'contextual taskbar' be added to the properties panel to rotate through the generative variations? OR~~~ a keyboard command to rotate through the options? The 'contextual taskbar' is annoying since it's always on the screen covering other things up and can't snap into the prexisiting panel system to keep it in a place you want. I have yet to find a spot to pin it where it doesn't get in the way and have to be moved at some point.
There was a request that became a feature to be able to use a layer group as the base of a clipping group, (http://feedback.photoshop.com/photosh... ) but I was facing the opposite need yesterday: be able to group layers that are being clipped in a clipping mask. My goal was to mask several clipped layers, and organize my layers panel; there is no way to group layers that are part of a clipping mask. (The add layer group icon is not greyed out, but dragging the layers to the group removes them from the clipping mask)
There’s a feature you should consider incorporating into all your software. It’s a functionality available in M@crosoft @xcel: when you want to insert a photo into a cell, you can choose either to upload from your PC or select "My Phone Device." A QR code appears for you to scan, allowing you to upload photos or videos directly from your phone without needing a wire or Bluetooth connection. It works seamlessly in just seconds.
Hi. Adobe has many older versions of Photoshop. Could it consider releasing an older version, like Photoshop CS4 or CS3, with a 5% royalty fee? This could be a win-win for both Adobe and aspiring artists who cannot afford the current $58 per month subscription. The royalty payments would provide revenue for Adobe, while making Photoshop more accessible to artists in low-income countries. Many aspiring artists living in low-income countries face significant barriers due to the high cost of software like Photoshop. Making older versions affordable could empower their creativity and support their growth. I know my suggestion is unlikely to happen, so I guess poor aspiring artists should find new aspirations. Thanks
