Recently I started working with files from stocks which have too looooong file names.(you know, all those keywords for better search) Let's say, I'm not allowed (or don't want) to change the file names. So, I can't comfortably open as Tabs more than 2-3 files and navigate between them. 😞I mean, I can't add more with drag-an-drop (which is my favourite way).Yep, Ctrl+Tab works fine for switching between the files, but if ~10 images are open and I need to check them in a random order... too many additional clicks. Anyway, I'd prefer to see all the Tabs in a line at once. It would be much better to have an option (somewhere in the Preferences) to limit file names to a certain number of characters, so that we could easily open multiple files as Tabs and comfortably navigate.
Since adobe seems to want to make all plug-ins extinct, create a solid in-app color picker tool as robust as magic picker. It would be a million times more useful than all this AI junk nobody is asking for.
Hello Hello, Dans les "Actions", ce serait intéressant de rajouter une condition " si le calque est un objet dynamique", cela permettrait de pouvoir l'éditer, le pixeliser, choisir une composition de calque.... je croise les doigts... Merci !
I WOULD LIKE TO COMBINE MULTIPLE IMAGES TOGETHER USING SLIDERS TO PLAY WITH THE STRENTH OF EACH IMAGE, WHEN THEY COMBINE, TO CHANGE THE RESULTING IMAGE
Currently, cutting out objects along with their shadows in Photoshop requires considerable effort using various techniques. There should be a “Shadow Selection” feature that allows precise object cutouts, including their shadows, which would look good in a PNG layer. Additionally, an “AI Shadow Generator” should exist in both regular and PNG formats to create realistic shadows for objects. At present, I need to use layer masking, which is cumbersome because it cannot be easily exported, or I have to install external plugins to generate real, accurate shadows. This process is particularly frustrating when working with packshot photography.
It is not important for Photoshop to focus solely on creating AI image generation features; rather, it would be wiser to develop AI tools that help existing users with image retouching. Is Adobe aware of a program called EVOTO? It is a software that utilizes AI to retouch photos. This program is already being used by commercial photographers and demonstrates the ability to provide high-quality retouching with simple steps through AI. Every photographer who uses Photoshop would know this. We don't need generative AI that creates non-existent images, changes a person’s clothes, or alters backgrounds. What we need far more are features that assist with basic retouching tasks. For instance, AI could help streamline processes like skin detail refinement, blemish removal, hair correction, skin tone adjustment, facial line shaping, body contouring, wrinkle reduction, and so on. With today’s AI, these are entirely feasible tasks that could greatly assist our work, but it seems Adobe
When kerning type the keyboard shortcut adjusts spacing by +/-20 units. It doesn't specify what units but I'm guessing it's points? The other fields are in points, but the kerning and leading fields don't specify. Doesn't really matter. What I'd like to do is be able to adjust that amount, change the increment to say 5 units for finer control. I'm starting to design more and more on photoshop. I would love to be able to set type quickly, instead of entering values manually. It would be very useful to be able to set the kerning, tracking, and leading increments like those apps allow us to.
Also a setting in Lightroom CC 'last PHP to default' (Not Beta). So whenever you want to enhance in PHP it always goes to the last PHPAnd whenever you want to use a particular tool you can directly go to PHP Beta(as plug-in)
Can adobe add .webp to the Generate Image Asset set of options in photoshop.
Support for Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator files in the Frame.io ecosystem was announced at MAX 2024. It would be easier to take advantage of this new feature if there was an option in the Share for Review dialogue box to share to Frame.io instead of creating a generic share for review link.Adding Frame.io as a review tool for all creative workflows is a great idea that I would like to take advantage of with my team and stakeholders, but as it stands the process of getting a .psd, .indd, .ai file into frame.io by saving the file, then opening a browser, logging into frame, creating a new project, uploading, and then sharing is going to take too much time compared to the current Share for Review feature. There is a comparison workflow video comparing the two side by side, attached.
I submitted this feature request about 20 years ago, so it seems like a good time to try again. Can we get preview for the Stroke and Fill commands? And with Stroke, how about a warning message if the Outside or Center option is selected and the stroke (or part thereof) will fall outside the current canvas? If we want to go whole-hog on Stroke, what about making it a Shape tool/.command? Perhaps with the option of what corners to use with Outside and Center when creating polygon strokes?
Me and some of my clients are still using old Mac Pros, upgraded to the max with fast M.2 SSD‘s, 32GB of RAM, 3,33GHz Intel Xeon CPU’s and graphic cards with up to 8GB. They still run fast and reliable under Ventura 13.7.0 via Open Core. For Windows PC‘s this is more then what is required, why not for Mac‘s?
Hi,I think it would be wonderful if WebP could also be used in Export/Save for Web. Instead of JPG, we now use WebP in our merchandise management as well as in our online stores. The export route would be much easier than always having to use "Save Copy as...". Would this be a good functionality for others? Greetings,Micha
I'm an illustrator, and I'm aware of a surprising limitation in Photoshop. My wish is that the colour of my brush (brush tool) changes (dynamically) with (at least) 3 or 5 colours WITH THE PRESSURE OF THE STYLUS on the tablet (WACOM for example). One possibility (it seems to me) would be to use ‘Colour Dynamics’ in the ‘Brush Settings’. I could (for example) vary the colour of my brush with the PRESSURE OF MY STYLUS (on a Wacom tablet, for example). However, alas 3x alas, this colour dynamic is linked to the 1st and 2nd plan colours. In other words, ONLY TWO COLOURS!On a computer costing several thousand dollars, in 2024, I can't have more than 2 (TWO!) dynamic colours on my brush! Please, Adobe. Change that!Like textures (in the brush settings -> textures are integrated into the settings), would it be possible to define available colours (2, 5 or 10, more?) in the colour dynamics (linked to stylus pressure), in the brush settings ?That would be GREAT! Please, Adobe, can you
Hi, a lot of times i save masks and paths as a layer mask in the group of the object. So you can easy drop the folder into a compo and move your masks and paths along with it. And if you transform the folder the masks get scaled along. Also usefull to keep a sharp backup of your mask when the mask you use has a feather. It would be helpfull if a layer with no pixels (in the left icon) would have a different icon so you can easy identify it as a 'mask' layer with no visible pixels in the 'layer miniature' so to say.
As a timelapse and landscape photographer, I need this feature so much!Birds suddendly appear in different parts of the frame & look like rubbish in the final video. I know some tricks in AE/Pr how to remove them fast with the Lighten blend mode by duplicating the same footage and moving it 1 frame forward, but it doesn't always work perfectly. It often gives artifacts. Being a perfectionist, I do it manually frame by frame in PS with the Spot Healing brush. Can you imagine how time consuming it is? 300-500+ images to clean... At sunrise the birds wake up and are very active. Almost the same thing with the sunsets. That's why I need the feature like birds removal. I'm sure it would be useful for many landscape photographers. P.S. I can even provide a few timelapse series (hundreds of shots) to train your algorithms.
Hey, I've been using Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, AfterEffects since their 1.0 versions, and there is something all of them always have been doing: when we change a text block aligment (left, right, or centered), the block 'jumps' to half-x-axis of whatever new setting we choose. I understand that must have been some limitation of legacy systems behavior (processing power, amount of resources, "it has always been like this"), but Figma and Sketch have showed us that such edit can be differently programmed. So, please: keep the text block in place when we change the text alignment - in PS, Illustrator, InDesign and AfterEffects.
Adobe Photoshop 1. Complex Task Simplification: Basic tasks like cropping an object require unnecessarily long steps. For example, to crop an object, I have to use the selection tool, press Ctrl+J, then delete the original layer. This process could be streamlined.2. Background Removal: The “Remove Background” feature works well with people but struggles with objects. Online tools like BGremover perform better. It would be great if Adobe’s tool could match this accuracy.3. Magic Fill: While Magic Fill works better in Firefly, in Photoshop, it’s quite poor and needs significant improvement.4. Dragging and Dropping Objects: Resizing objects to fit the frame when dragging and dropping is cumbersome. Using Shift+Drag is not intuitive. There should be a “Fit to Frame” or “Fill Frame” option with a single click.5. Drawing Tool: A freehand pen tool similar to the one in MS Paint would be a useful addition, allowing more intuitive drawing options.6. Prompt to Save Location: Photoshop shoul
I find the plethora of shortcut prefixes (combinations of Shift, Control, Opt and Cmd) too confusing to figure out. Because I don't want my chosen prefix to conflict with one chosen by Adobe, I wanted to pick one and be reasonably sure it would not get purturbed in an update. Based on searching through the unpurturbed defaults on my new install, I think "Control-Opt" is not in use. It'd be nice to know that Adobe promises to leave that prefix alone.
With almost all my files when i save up a version and go to the save as window, i'll have to select a point in the filname and scroll right to alter the version number, even though there is enough space for the save as filename window to be much longer. That way I can see the whole filename at once and directly select the number at the end.
