Show the Hardness % slider of the Brush tool at the top panel.
Add a Contrast mode for the Sponge tool to make fast local adjustments – add contrast & decrease contrast. An option "Protect saturation" should also be added, because changing the contrast affects saturation, sometimes it's unwanted or too much.
V 25.6 when using the brush, would be useful if we could use click - shift click to paint a straight line like you can with other brushes
Currently neural filters start calculating every time you adjust a slider. This gets especially annoying on the new photo restoration filter when you need to adjust multiple sliders. I have had many crashes if I try to adjust the noise adjustments while its calculating. Also on the topic of neural filters please add a preferance for default output.
I've been waiting for more than 10 years for Adobe to make these simple functions that will help millions of people! Is it so difficult?
Add clipping warning indicators to Histogram and Levels in PS, just like we have in ACR.
Hello people at Adobe.I think the brushes menu in Adobe Photoshop, could greatly benefit from a "favorite system" or a "tag" system. So when you browse for brushes you could ad a "star" or a "tag" to the ones you like or find most useful. Then you could search for your "favorite brushes", or "rough brushes", or "big brushes", etc...I think it could be very helpful for people who use different brushes in a regular basis.Thank-you for your attention.Merlin PARDO.
Why don't we have the Feather setting for the Patch tool?We have to switch to the Lasso tool to make a soft selection in 1 click.(the idea was originally posted by me on Apr 10, 2023)
Here's a simple, but helpful enhancement idea for the "Hue/Saturation" adjustment layer:In its properties it would be great to see a little indication next to the color ranges in the dropdown list of color ranges ("yellows", "reds", "blues", etc.) that shows which of them have already been manipulated. It could be as simple as an asterisk "*" next to "yellows" if it contains adjustements. Currently I have manually flip through every color range sub-setting individually to see if it includes changes.
Would like to be able to resize the brush using the bracket [ ] keys. Using Windows and the latest update for Beta. It would make things a lot easier and faster.
Apple's newly launched Vision Pro is a pretty exciting tool for content creation and design, and I was hoping that either Adobe would be there at launch with a number of native apps, or at least looking forward to installing and using iPadOS versions of apps on the new spatial computer. Unfortunately, it appears that Adobe has blocked Photoshop and Illustrator from being installed on Vision Pro. Can you shed light on why the apps have been blocked, and when we can expect either compatibility with the iPadOS release or a native VisionOS version?
It would be very nice if you could make the settings for increasing and decreasing panels more flexible! so that I can fix the size of panels not by the minimum font in Windows! Perhaps you will add some functions where the font size in Photoshop changes directly in the program itself and does not depend on the operating system settings.
It would be great if the blurs were smoother at high values. I would like smoother gradients
I really wish there were dual brush settings in the brush mix. For artists, this would be a very significant boost in development.
Addition of guide lines in different formats and positions, so that they are not just horizontal and vertical. Examples: diagonal guide lines, spirals, specific shapes, such as the Golden Ratio standard.
I know with social media being a big thing, I always found it fun to be able to take an image and make smaller pieces of it to share on platforms like IG. But with no slice tool on iPad, I need to rely on other apps or need to use PS on my laptop. Unfortunately I don't always take it with me when my iPad is much easier.
I have been using Adobe Photoshop as a photographer and designer for many years. Something which I have needed and would have used nearly every day is when I need to clone one side of a person or item to the other side, due to imperfections on the one side.I have to cut it out and flip it around and sometimes have to blend the access off.IF the clone stamp tool had a mirror image capability - this will fix all this in one action!!!!!I surely will use it constantly, and (I am not sure but) I do not think any competitor has something similar.
Many times, when i using ctrl + alt + Shift E to create a new layer, it accidently change my previous layer to Different blending mode. Sometimes, i create new object with generative fill, this accident makes my object become black object. If i dont notice, the black object will be stand with many layer i create to edit my photo after that. I cant find a way to change shortcut for different blending mode.
PLEASE!!!!! Put move the 102 (that's ONE HUNDRED AND TWO) unusable NOTO fonts to below my fonts list where I don't have to scroll through them! I'm not asking to disable them, just put them in their OWN SECTION at the bottom of the UI list, as you do with the all non-English alphabets at the bottom of the list. Why is this so hard?? PLEASE just stick them together at the bottom of the list!
Please [removed] Photoshop needs to stop pushing AI. I am professional illustrator, have been using Photoshop for over 20 years as part of my process, and am seriously considering finding something else. I don't need or want AI to have any part in the process of my artwork. I understand Photoshop wanting to get with the times and implement new technology. But their should be a SIMPLE OPTION to simply turn off all AI features with one click. Adobe's instistence to repeatedly suggest AI features over and over as one uses the software... is frankly offensive and threatening to professional artists who view generative AI as an illegal copyright violation, a bad idea, and an assault on their craft and livelihood. Please please think about this seriously. All a lot of us want is an easy way to opt out of AI features.
Double tap on a key as a shortcut option.Eg. J: opens tool 1 double tap J: open tools 2It already works in After Effects with the double tap on key "u" - it opens more details about a layer.
The Save As WebP window would benefit from a preview checkbox and expected file size indicator, as found in the Save As JPEG window. The benefit to the end user would be a visual indication of quality loss and a rough estimation of file size.
I recommend adding a universal search bar in Photoshop to quickly find tools, menus, and functions. This would greatly enhance user experience and efficiency. Thank you for considering this suggestion.
In Photoshop, can we implement that the sub layers are always in the group? Sometimes, I always want the layer to always be in a certain group, no matter how its position changes. However, because the layers move up and down, over time, the layers become chaotic. If it could be achieved, it would be great if the sub layers could not leave the group unless a certain level system was manually changed. Unless manually unlocked, sub layers will not leave the group. Other layers will not enter the group, but sometimes it is not possible
