Photoshop (Beta)

I dont know if this is 100% a bug but i thought that I should write about it just in case. the button is greyed out and it says that it is currently unavailable.

Photoshop Beta 25.1 keeps crashing when changing tool preset.Very annoying. Hopefully quick fix.iMac M1

I'm running into an issue where Photoshop isn't filling in the extra space left by the crop tool. It doesn't fill with Content aware or Generative fill. I feel like there used to be another option as well that wasn't working for me. I've had this issue for a few updates. This has been happening since before updating to beta. Based on the last image, it almost seems liek photoshop isn't seeing that I have expanded the canvas. See the images for a step by step through my process and I'll attach my System Info as a seperate comment. 1. Select Crop tool. Content-Aware Fill has been selected as fill2. Click image to start cropping3. Expand canvas beyond image boundary4. Apply crop. Expanded canvas does not fillSeperately, I tried repeating the steps and then selecting Generative Expand from the floating bar and get the following messge:

Hello, Ever since I started using the Beta (I think it was 24.7) the Remove Tool has a bug. When first starting Photoshop the tool is very responsive, similar to the Healing tool. Removals are almost instant. After a 1-2hr session of editing the Remove Tool gradually becomes slower and slower, up to the point where removing a simple 30px wide spot takes 2-3 seconds. "Larger" selections like 500px wide take 5-8 seconds. Restarting Photoshop fixes this, but it's a hassle if you still have lots of images loaded up. My system shouldn't be a problem, and the cache/swap is set on a separate NVME drive. Thanks for checking this out.Bogdan

Hey all, Does anyone know the export settings for images in Ps Beta for social media? Whenever I use the normal Ps image dimensions, the image becomes stretched or pressed down from the top. I've googled and searched but cannot find an answer. Help!    [Mod: Moved to the Photoshop Beta forum]  

I am not the only one that has the "laggy" issue. I am assuming Millions of users do have that issue.Can someone give us some workaround and recommendations to overcome that huge obstacle?Thank you very much!

When I click on the remove tool, I get a circle with a black line through it.  I also get a pop-up error that says "Can't use the tool because the target layer is unsupported." What does this mean?  What mst I do to be able to use the remove tool?Thank you for your assistance!

I'm on the desktop version of Adobe Photoshop (Beta) and it will not allow me to save files (I've tried save, save as, save a copy, and save for web). When I save, nothing happens and the file is not saved into my local folder. If I try and quit out of the program, the prompt modal appears asking if I'd like to "save changes to my file before closing". I click on the "Save" button and nothing happens. Please help! 

Hello, I reinstalled my iMac (Catalina 10.15.7) and when I download the Photoshop Beta from Creative Cloud, the higher version available for mi OSX is the 24.0.0 and I cannot find GENERATIVE FILL on this version. Before reinstalling my iMac I had PS beta (not sure which version) with Generative Fill working fine on it. How can I have generative fill again in the PS beata 24.0.0 or how can I get a higher version with gernerative fill?   Thanks! Antonio

i am unable to use generate fill in beta version of photoshop. please fix the bug asap.

So far, I find the Parametric Filters to be awesome, but when I mouse over the Chromatic Aberration Filter until its label appears, the word Aberration is misspelled. There are two letter r's in Aberration, not one.

The Move Tool in Photoshop Beta on a Mac used while holding down the option key on a selection does not create a new layer. It will copy the selected area, but a new layer does not appear in the layers panel. This does work on the Windows version of Photoshop Beata.

When I want to use "Generative Fiil" it is always cancelling my selecting and writing "there is a network problem. Please check your Internet connection." message. The interesting point is that, it was working properly two weeks ago.Also I found and applied all advices on the link Generative fiil - Adobe Support Community - 13898844 by CoryShubert, read the Preferences in Photoshop (adobe.com) article, checked updates for my version but it is still doesn't working.

While I am manipulating a curves adjustment layer mask with the paint brush; anytime I stop using the brush within the photo field, then make any selection in the Layers channel. Once I try to continue and use the paint brush, it no longer effects the photo.

Yet again after an update I can't remove the blemishes or marks on someones face, This line is on a face and no matter how many times I try, photoshop yet once again, wont remove it.  

Hi, so opening Photoshop (which worked fine) I was asked to upgrade to v25 so I did.  Now everytime I open  Photoshop Beta it crashe I get this message   The links do not provide any help.I can not afford to pay for this subscription if the app keeps crashing. Anyone else encountered this problem with beta v25.  I am on windows 10 64bit

Version 25 of photoshop beta, won't let you expand the contents of a clipboard or collapse, anyone going through this?

Hi everyone,first time poster here. I've read plenty of threads however I couldn't find the answer to my question (apologies if I have missed it).With the latest update and release of generative fill for commercial use, I somehow assumed the max resolution would be increased, however it looks like the maximum resolution is still 1024x1024. As I couldn't find any information about this, is there any plan to increase it?Thanks in advance.

Hi, hopefully I can get an answer to my problem. I have the newest Windows update installed in my device and enough RAM. Yet, I keep getting a pop up stating that Photoshop v 25.0 cannot be downloaded because I need to update my system. Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHzInstalled RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorEdition Windows 11 HomeVersion 22H2Installed on ‎2/‎19/‎2023Am I missing something? Is this an easy fix? Another thing is, I am not being allowed to download Illustrator for the same reason - I am being told it is not compatible so I am assuming it is the same issue. When I use Quick Export for .jpgs, if I don't select the old export as, the .jpg file icon remains white. If I select the old export as, the preview of the image is visible in the icon, but the exported file, with the same degree of compression selected, is 10 times more compressed than the new export as. So I'm forced to use the save as command, much more laborious. It happens with both beta and official version. Please resolve. Thank you.
