Photoshop (Beta)

Since updating a few days ago to Photoshop (Beta) 25.1.0, I've had recurring issues.Selecting an existing layer automatically makes it hidden, thus preventing editing it. If it's a text layer SOMETIMES creating a new blank layer above it turns off the hidden aspect. If the existing layer is a graphic or library item, it's impossible to turn the hidden aspect off by the workaround outlined above. Creating a new layer as often as not renders it hidden. Opening the file in Photoshop 2024 retains the hidden layer. Is there a solution or is Adobe working on solving this issue? This is very, very frustrating. The file in question is a .psb is 3.77gb in size.Mac OS 12.6.9

leaves hard joints after using generative fill, this has never happened before

When trying to use Photoshop Beta Generative fill , I remain getting the message, "Something went wrong" or The network is full, try later" after updating my birthdate and Tech support troubleshooting my settings,  computer has been restarted and the application has been unistalled and then re-installed. We have tried a previous version and were unsuccessful. 

Impossible to upgrade Photoshop Beta 25.1 and Illustrator Beat 28.0. Thks for your help! 😉 

I used to be able to use the image generator normally, but now I can't use it. (my photoshop beta version is 25.1) 

Intersting thread, I have question.The generative fill is now on the released 25.0 version of Photshop, That is the generative fill is in the final paid for version of Photshop. The thing that is bothering me is that they prompt you to use it as soon as youlaunch Photoshop wich is cool, but it also says to agree to it's uses and guidelinesfor the new AI fill, that is also cool and I took the time to read it because itpreviously read some time ago that while on beta the fill was not be usedfor commercial products, so I thought Ok then now it can be used to makecommercial products? However on the license it only reads that while the generative fill is in "beta" you are not use it lestyou are doing work that will not be commercially in nature, however now the generative fillis right next to the older content aware fill, right on the final version of Photshop that supposedly you canuse to make commercial work.This a bit jarring because I almost clicked at it on the context f

hey sir, I have a question, I don't understand regarding one of your comments, "Adobe has limited access to the generative fill and generative expand features to customers with a valid subscription to a plan that includes Photoshop (Creative Cloud, Single app or Photography plan )."So if I only subscribe to the photography plan, I can't use Photoshop Beta freely anymore? is it like that ?

Hey can you please look into the issue with my gen fill, from last 2 days. it's saying: an error occurred try again later. Since this current update I am no longer able to use the "save as" command.  The error message says "Could not save because of a disk error (-1) Also, scripts/image processor is not working correctly.  When I click on "select folder" the border turns blue but doesn do anything else. I updated to the current version yesterday and restarted the computer afterwards.  I am using Monterey 12.6

A cerca de 2 ou 3 semanas pra ca o preenchimento generativo esta absurdamente lento!! De maneira fora do comum, o que eu gerava antes com menos de um minuto, agora demora ate minutos, ou então no mínimo uns 4 minutos, fora do comum! 

Hi all, I'm playing with generative fill to create a nice background for product photos that have a white background.Here is an example: While I'm happy with the background, the object looks less natural because it is unaffected by the changes in the background. Is there a way to make the object look more realistic with changes in light and color to match the background?ThanksLaurent

En esta última actualización, al aplicar relleno generativo salen numerosos bugs en la imagen, partes en las que se visualiza el fondo, cuadrados en colores fosforitos, cambias de variación y vuelves a la misma y salen colores extraños.....

I have just downloaded and installed Photoshop Beta on my Mac Pro (2018). As you can see in the screenshot, the "Contextual Task Bar Currently Unavailable". I can't find any solutions online! Thank you for your help!

I have the latest version. When I go to the desktop CC it doesn't show PS Beta as needing an update. But I still get the pop up to update. "Time to Update"

I am not even working on the variation currently. I just created a new selection. This thing is not dismissable and is highly annoying.

I have an image with text in it (the text is just part of the image, not a separate layer) and what I want to do is move the text to a different part of the image. I drew a rough selection around the text and told the generative AI feature to "remove text" and it did this nicely, filling in a background that matches the rest of the image. So it obviously recognized the text. What I want to do next is get the text back into a separate layer with a transparent background so I can place it elsewhere in the image. I can't figure out a way to do this. Is it possible?

Tried to start twice. Got error and sent report. Was able to reinstall 25.0 which seems to still work. Windows 10 on older dell computer. I have been getting notice that  photoshop can't use graphic card when the previous versions boot but program still works ok except for camera does not work.
