Photoshop (Beta)

Ich habe vor nicht all zu langer Zeit mein Rechner von 16Gb auf 32Gb Arbeitsspeicher upgegradet, um das Problem mit Photoshop welches dann 13,xGb von den 16 verfügbaren während des Betriebs frisst. Jetzt habe ich 32Gb und das Teil frisst noch mehr und läuft am Limit, sprich ich könnte jetzt nicht mehr viel mehr machen um vernünftig arbeiten zu können. Muss ich etwa auf 64Gb aufrüsten or what? 😄 Wäre gut, wenn daran gearbeitet wird. Kann doch nicht sein! 

Whilst I'm glad that Firefly's data is sourced ethically (well you could argue that it isnt, seeing as Adobe Stock contains imagery from other AI tools...) it makes me wonder if Firefly will really have the potential to compete with the likes of Midjourney and Stable Diffusion etc in terms of image quality. As extensive as Adobe Stock is, it is nowhere near as huge as the datasets that the other AI tools have been trained on (i.e. basically everything on the internet), so will Firefly really be able to compete? It's a little hard to judge at the minute as it is still early days for Firefly, so I wouldn't expect it to be at the same level as the others just yet, but I wonder how good can it really get?

I closed the tool in the productive fill section in my Adobe photoshop beta application by mistake and when I search again and again, I can't find it opened in the erde and I think there is insufficient information on this subject, can you help me?

After using generative fill in PS Beta, how to I take that newly created image back into photoshop.  Do I just need to save to desk top and re- open?   

Photoshop está com esse bug no texto algum tempo e ainda não foi resolvido, o photoshop beta fica fechando sozinho e não da para usar.

Using PS beta Ai generative fill, is there a way to keep the 3 generated results available to use later?  I notice that once I click on different layer, those options are gone.

Hace un tiempo descargue la versión de prueba de Photoshop beta, y me funcionaba perfectamente el relleno generativo, por lo que decidí realizar una suscripción a Photoshop para poder usarlo.Ahora que tengo mi suscripción a Photoshop, el botón  de relleno generativo me sale atenuado y no hay manera de solucionar el problema, por lo que no lo puedo usar. Necesito solucionar este problema lo antes posible.

I'm unable to update my photoshop beta. It worked for a few weeks and now I can't download it.  What's up?  I have a mac and it has the latest Ventura operating system.  When I use the beta version, the task bar no longer gives me the option for a degenerative fill.  It had been working just a few days ago.   

PSP shuts down. I had a 160frames file hand tweaked. Beta went onto spinning dots circle instead of video format questions. Had to save, open in Photshop 2023 and then export was no problems.M2 Mac Studio

Hello, I have problems with Beta Ps and ordinary Ps in version 23.0.2 - because other versions crashes too often.I have 24GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and 500GB SSD disc for a storage disk.Photoshop settings: 60% RAM memory to use; I am using GPU, 30 history states, buffor 4, 1028kB.I am a graphis designer and I am working on files with size about 5000x7000px or 3000x4500px.Photoshop can crash with blue screen when: during zoom out, during selecting some function e.g. text tool.Sometimes it can crash with blue screen when saving render animation.In Beta version it can crash during zoom out generative fill when I want to make a wide frame of the picture.I don't have such problems with: Blender, Unity, Affinity.HELP!

I replace some backgrounds in my images however the scaling is off, is there a way I can scale up or scale down, zoom or something...

Rather frustrating, PS assumes I want to automatically makes my current layer into a shape layer when using the pen tool. I ONLY use it for creating mask shapes. It's making something thats already tedious have extra steps to disable it.How can I get back to the legacy mode of it doing nothing automatically until instructed...?

I see plenty of mentions of no/disabled Generative Fill option, but few that are result of being stuck on version 24.5 ...Im on Mac OS Ventura, connected to Adobe via MS Teams and it seems im stuck at 24.5.I've uninstalled Beta, restarted, and reinstalled Beta twice, both resulted in 24.5 installs. I tried the "Check for updates" option a couple times, but 24.6 didnt come up. I uninstalled again, updated stable PS, restarted, and did a few more "Check for updates" rounds, but 24.6 is still not an option.- Is the feature simply not rolled out universally yet? - Or maybe this something our IT crew needs to allow first? - Is there a direct link to install this particular version? With Adobe Firefly we get generative AI for images, so that AI can generate images on the fly for us, fill in photographic detail, and make life a little easier for us.  With text-based generative AI, like ChatGPT as an example, we get AI that can generate new text content. For intance, we can ask it to write a story about an 11 year old boy, who grew up in rural Mexico and lost his dad when he was 1 year old, but had a loving grandmother who raised him--Generative text AI, will take this and generate an entire story line with extra detail we didn't give it.  Here's the question for the Photoshop experts:  imagine we integrate text-based generative AI with Firefly, then how would this make your life easier?  what type of problems or challenges would it help you address?  how would it make you more productive? I've been wondering how this would be helpful and I'd like to get the community's feedback on this topic.  I know this community can b

I was enlarging Generative Fill layer and PS 24.7 m.2223 crashed twice during the process. Interestingly, it was happening if I enlarged the layer a bit using one handle, then dragged another handle to enlarge it in opposite direction.

The Share feature is not working on Adobe Photoshop Beta v24.6.0 Release

How many others have made a selection and typed in necklace, bracelet, waterfall or other things only to have NOTHING show up in any of the generations ?  

I've been experimenting with Beta and have had Photoshop freeze up. It appears to occur if I've used generative fill in an image then go to open a recent image without closing the first. Within the program, all I can see is a freeze-up. If I go into the Window's task bar, it shows Photoshop churning away trying to open the other image, but it never successfully opens. At that point, I go through task manager and close Photoshop down. (I'm generally seeing system memory running at about 75 percent capacity which is high, but not usually fatal on this machine.) Also, I'd love to have both Beta and a previous version available but CC is telling me Beta will be uninstalled if I try to back-migrate. 

I updated the photoshop beta app, and it keeps crashing. Possible issue - I'm opening previous files that were made in the normal photoshop app, and working on them in beta. Could this be what is causing the crash? This wasn't happening before.

Hello, I scanned a photo in a magazine, that spanned over two pages. I stitch them together as best as can, leaving but a tiny amount of the white border. Before the generative fill, I would have to spot heal or content-aware fill by sections of the seam at a time. Now with the generative fill, I'm hoping to simply have to marquee select, hit the generative fill button, and let it do the magic. The problem is, the fill keeps on generating the white border. The spot healing tool works fine, but the fill is so much better, not to mention more time-efficient. That being said, I have a feeling it doesn't work because of the way I stitched those two photos together. Layers are merged and flattened, so I'm not sure what could be the issue...
