Photoshop (Beta)

While I am manipulating a curves adjustment layer mask with the paint brush; anytime I stop using the brush within the photo field, then make any selection in the Layers channel. Once I try to continue and use the paint brush, it no longer effects the photo.

Yet again after an update I can't remove the blemishes or marks on someones face, This line is on a face and no matter how many times I try, photoshop yet once again, wont remove it.  

Hi, so opening Photoshop (which worked fine) I was asked to upgrade to v25 so I did.  Now everytime I open  Photoshop Beta it crashe I get this message   The links do not provide any help.I can not afford to pay for this subscription if the app keeps crashing. Anyone else encountered this problem with beta v25.  I am on windows 10 64bit

Version 25 of photoshop beta, won't let you expand the contents of a clipboard or collapse, anyone going through this?

Hi everyone,first time poster here. I've read plenty of threads however I couldn't find the answer to my question (apologies if I have missed it).With the latest update and release of generative fill for commercial use, I somehow assumed the max resolution would be increased, however it looks like the maximum resolution is still 1024x1024. As I couldn't find any information about this, is there any plan to increase it?Thanks in advance.

Hi, hopefully I can get an answer to my problem. I have the newest Windows update installed in my device and enough RAM. Yet, I keep getting a pop up stating that Photoshop v 25.0 cannot be downloaded because I need to update my system. Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHzInstalled RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorEdition Windows 11 HomeVersion 22H2Installed on ‎2/‎19/‎2023Am I missing something? When I use Quick Export for .jpgs, if I don't select the old export as, the .jpg file icon remains white. If I select the old export as, the preview of the image is visible in the icon, but the exported file, with the same degree of compression selected, is 10 times more compressed than the new export as. So I'm forced to use the save as command, much more laborious. It happens with both beta and official version. Please resolve. Thank you.

Hello, Posting here for the first time cause can't seem to find a relative topic so here's the problem; The circle on the Hue Cube that shows what color you are on doesn't move when i pick colors on my canvas with Eyedropper. Eyedropper is already set to sample "All Layers", Both Foreground color and Background Color shows the color Eyedropper picks when selected, but Hue Cube (or any of the other cubes/sliders) doesn't move at all. I was on the previous version when the problem first occured out of nowhere earlier today, i updated it to 25.1.0 in the meanwhile and i also tried resetting my preferences and uninstalling etc. I also uploaded regular PS and i'm not having the same issue there but i'm using Beta features a lot so i'd rather keep using it if there's an easy solution. Thank you in advance,       

The image preview in the Export As window shows incorrect colors when the convert to sRGB box is checked. See attached screen shot. I'm running version 25.1 of Beta. The resulting exported image has the correct colors, it's just the preview that's wrong.

Question:  I'm in PS Beta and it wants me to update, but it appears that it's going to the latest update to traditional PS.  Does the new update (which I assume is PS 2024) include all the skills in PS Beta as well?

Ciao, ho da poco scaricato l'AI generativa su photoshop, ma quando vado a generare l'immagine mi dice che è impossibile generare il promt a causa di problemi di connessione. Eppure prende benissimo! Ho provato a collegarmi ad altre reti, a disintallare e reinstallare, ma niente, sempre lo stesso problema. Qualcuno sa perché e come risolvere?

It runs fine at first, then it slows down to a crawl after a few weeks. Then I noticed it also affects the regular version of photoshop. I can sometimes fix the issue by opeing the app from Creative Cloud. Eventually I had to delete the beta version which doesn't make sense to me.

I see you plan to charge us for using Generative fill etc per edit! What happens when it's an unusable result or a violation error?  What happens when,like yesterday, I asked for a night sky and got half a woman's face? Is that going to cost me? Is every violation error and buggy response going to be billed to me?  I can find nothing on your website about this? What's going to happen?

The Generative fill is not working for me at all.When i give a prompt it loads for a long time and it gives me nothing.

The Photos app on Mac has an "edit with" option. PS and PS Beta (including 25.1) appear as options. When opening in the beta, making edits, flattening, then saving, PS Beta refuses to save to the temp file that Apple Photos set up. Instead it wants to save a new file. This isn't how the "edit with" flow is supposed to work. It should replace the file and appear in Apple Photos.

I have the beta-version of illustrator and photoshop on my pc suddenly. (I didn't install them) I tried to de-install them cuz they took over being the default app to open my files, which is super annoying. I don't want to switch to them cuz both application are buggy and don't work. Illustrator beta even crashes on start. The problem is that when I try to de-install the beta version over the creative cloud desktop it ALSO de-installs the normal photoshop/ illustrator version!? How do I get rid of them?

So I'm making a digital polytych of 6 images. First, some file info: Each image is 6240 PX x 3512 PX, RGB, 8-BIT, SCREEN sRGB. It was originally 72 PPI, then changed to 300 via going to Edit > image Size. I downsized these files to 1805 PX x 1122 PX to fit an overall file.  The polytych file is set to: 11420 PX x 1320 PX, set to 8-bit, RGB, sRGB colour profile.  To keep myself organized when I put it altogether, I put each image's individual file info (their adjustment layers etc.) Into a group. Here's my issue.  I'll duplicate image one into the new document (poly file) and it'll look exactly like it's supposed to. But once I duplicate another image into the poly file, the second image is washed out, dull, and the blacks have a crazy amount of banding.  I don't know what the hell I'm doing wrong. I tried duplicating different images as the first one to see if it was the file itself, but it isn't - the first image always works out fine, i

Hi all, So up until the latest update of PS Beta the generative Fill AI results have been pretty incredible for a numerous amount of tricky challenges that i have used it on.BUT now with the latest update earlier in the week even the most simple of fill challenges and it fails massivelly like removing a sign from a plain ten bar  metal fence it either gives a complete mess or random items from cats to rock wall textures etc . This is using zero keywords and pre update it would smash this process no problems. iv set this as a discusion rather than a bug as im honestly intrested if anyone else has noticed a lack of performance / accurate results since the latest update. Cheers Nick
