Photoshop Elements

Hello, I cannot see several of the Tools (e.g. Text Tool, Crop Tool) at the bottom of the leftTask Bar in Expert View on Photoshop Elements 15 The Task Bar is in  2 column view mode. Thank you. Neil

Since I've updated my PC to Windows 11, i cannot upload Photos to my Flickr account. I made a reset to my account data, but nothing changed.Kind regardsWerner

Guten Tag, ich habe das Problem, dass seit kurzer Zeit mein Radierer von einem Kreis zu einem Kreuz wurde. Mit dem Kreis konnte ich auch besser arbeiten, mit den den Voreinstellungen habe ich es auch schon versucht, aber es wurde nicht gespeichert. Also was muss ich tun um den Kreis zurück zu bekommen.Ich arbeite mit einem iMac und dem Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023 Programm Expert. Freundliche Grüße Michael Bissman

I had to do a computer re-set due to a virus and now I can't find my photos on Photoshop Elements.  Thanks for whatever guidance you can provide!  Susan L

On attempting to draw/paint with the brush and pencil tools in Photoshop Elements 14, the lines that are created are jagged - not smooth at all.  I have changed the spacing to 1% (hardness is at 100%) in brush settings, but that doesn't really seem to have helped anything at all - maybe only just slightly improved.  I don't know what else to try in order to correct this issue.  As things are right now, my results are far from professional quality.  I would greatly appreciate any help anyone could provide to resolve the issue.  Thank You.

I had to temporarily remove my Photoshop Elements 14 software from my desktop computer about a month ago and have been trying to reinstall it using the CD I purchased from Best Buy years ago.  After installing, it initally told me that I had the software installed on too many devices, so I was blocked from using it on the desktop.  *But I do not have it installed on any other devices.*  (I  did at one point have it on a laptop, but have had it uninstalled from there for some time.)  Given the message, I uninstalled it from my desktop and tried installing again.  This did not help.  On this next reinstallation attempt, it kept getting stuck on "initializing installation", then eventually (finally) told me that installation failed because the software is "not genuine".  You can't tell me that suddenly now Best Buy sells non-genuine software or that Adobe is only just now detecting something "wrong" about it seven years later.  I then attempted

Buenos díasTrabajo con 2 ordenadores y un disco duro externo. Instalé Photoshop Elements 2022 en uno de ellos. Entré en el Organizador 86.000 fotografías y las etiqueté concienzudamente. Me va perfecto.He instalado el mismo programa en el otro ordenador, que también tiene Windows 10 y necesito saber que archivos he de copiar para que me funcione igual de bien (las fotografías las tengo en el disco externo).

.Can't send photos from Photo element. I use outlook mail. And up comes a box. And there it says. Incorrect password or email.And I have been using photo element for 3 weeks.And I have written the correct email and password.

Photoshop elements seems to have invaded the photos in my documents. If I uninstall the program will I lose all my photos .  

I'm new to Photoshop Elements.  I'm trying to create a contact sheet similar to that of the old Photoshop CS2.  I've found in Elements how to set the number of columns and display the image date and image file name.  However the date and file name are displayed in an overly large font size that I seem to have no control over.  How to adjust that font size? See attached screenshot.  You can see that the overly large text means most of the file name is cut off.  And no option to rotate images automatically to fit, pretty much makes the contact sheet a big waste of paper, compared to the Automate > Contact Sheet II that was available in old Photoshop. Please help!--Carol

In S/W fotografierte NEF Bilder werden beim Import in Photoshop Elements 23 automatisch farbig angezeigt.Importiere ich die gleichen Dateien mit der Nikon Transfer Utility, bleiben sie S/W will ich sie dann mit Elements bearbeiten werden sie wieder farbig (!!!) Ich müsste sie mit der Nikon Software bearbeiten damit sie wie aufgenommen S/W bleiben.Das heisst, wenn ich in RAW mit Verwendung von Effekten fotografiere, diese von Elements nicht übernommen werden. Nur wenn ich in JPG abspeichere werden auch die Effekte übernommen. Da ich auf gute Druckqualität wert lege, fotografiere ich aber grundsätzlich in RAW.Das ist meiner Ansicht nach ein Fehler von Elements, der hoffentlich in einem nächsten Update behoben wird.Oder hat jemand eine Idee wie ich die NEF mitsamt Effekten in Elements importieren kann?  

I am using PSE2019 and have tried several times to do a full backup to a 1TB external USB drive. They have ended with the following message: Error encountered while writing files(s). C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organiser\Catalogs\My Catalog\FaceAnalysis\json\462841.json I have checked for Catalog errors, etc. and there is sufficient space on the disc. Can anyone help? I use Windows 10 and PSE14 and yes I have just started to be directed to eLive when starting PSE and I would like always to go to EXPERT.  The eLive page displays the following message.  I have tried to reset preferences but that too fails.  Can anyone help?

When I would save a photo I edited to my desktop on Photoshop Elements 2018 on my Mac Book Pro, it would save it and I could see the specific image as the icon. All of a sudden, it began saving them with the image of a white background with JPEG in blue. I cannot see the actual picture/image anymore which makes it difficult as I am an artist. How can I have it save so I can see the actual painting image?

Is Elements 2023 16 bit?  Can it edit and save 16 bit photo filessuch as TIFFs?

Could someone give me a solution on how to take a jpeg image (of a pot hole) and transform it into a scaled drawing showing depth width etc.I want this to show the judge !

Hi    One of my keywords (and its associated sub-categories) has suddenly disappeared from the list of keywords in the organiser. I upgraded to PSE 2022 when it was released and have never had trouble with keywords before. The missing keywords still appear under each relevant image in the organiser display so the tagging remains.See attachment. The keywords have also disappeared from the menu of tags in the 'find by details' facility so I can’t retrieve them. Short of using a full catalogue backup and missing out more recent entries, what can I do?  Thanks for your help. Windows 10

Hello,a couple of years, I bought the license for pse 2020. and lately, all of a sudden, it is no more possible to open the app. It says the testing phase is ended and I have to buy the software or enter the activation code (which I did insert and nothing happened. I am stuck in a Loop of inserting the serial number). So I tried to login in my adobe account and activate/download again, but no change...!Anybody has an idea what could bring my pse back to life?Thanks

So my sister purchased the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 for me as a Christmas gift.  Unfortunately, she was not aware that my os was windows 8.1.  Recently got a new pc with the os Windows 11.  Downloaded the software by using the serial #, as new pc has no disc drive.  Although the organizer will open, the photo editor will not.  Says that it's loading & then stops.  Any suggestions? 

So AE 2020 used to open my raw files in the raw editor automatically when I double clicked on them. Fast easy, quick. But now it takes me to a menu window first as a pop up, then I have to choose the editor manually, then I have to use AE's open option, find the file folder, then find the file, then double click it. So many more steps.I'm not sure what changed but I've reached my limit of trying to figure it out. This makes a huge difference in the speed of my workflow now- it used to be so fast, now as you can see, very slow.I gave up on trying,  went as far as purchasing 2023 Elements, and it works like 2020 used to work,  straight to the raw editor when I double click. Only, I don't like the new raw editor as much as the 2020's because I can save presets for each camera to remember when I open raw files.Anyone know what happened with the change of 2020? I'd prefer to use that as much as possible? Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello,it happens since a week or so. I bought a couple of years ago pse 2020 and since a week or so I find myself in a login-loop, when I want to open the app vialmy laptop. I didn't change anything to my computer.Really strange. In my account on adobe it is still there, that I purchased it.Can anybody help me?Thanks

I select a brush, I move the mouse on my image, I only see an X cross, I don't see a brush circle which normally should be.How can I get back the brush circle that should appear when I move the mouse over my image

I am using the free version of photoshop cs2. I have migrated to a new machine but it will not open mrw files. I need a copy of camera raw 3.2, where can I download it?ThanksChris

This just started a day ago.  I have Elements 15 and always use Expert.  Whenever I started Elements, it defauylted to Expert as well as the editing tools that I used. Now it defaults to Quick every time I open it, and the editing tools (sponge) are back on the menu and I have to change it to the burn tool.
