Photoshop Elements

Hi,since today I have a problem with my Photoshop Elements. The program hangs on the "save" command. It was working before, the problem started today. I've already tried opening other and new files, restarting the computer and reinstalling the program. Still the same problem. I didn't change anything in the settings of the computer, I didn't install any other programs or plugins. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing the error and how to fix it?

I use Windows 11.  I also use OneDrive and have the backup turned on for my pictures folder.  I keep a copy of the photos, 78gig, on my PC by choosing the "Always keep on device" option in OneDrive. Will Adobe Photoshop Elements Organizer work with this setup?  I would assume it just sees it as the Pictures folder and uses the files in it? I use the OneDrive photo upload feature on my iPhone as well, which uploades photos to the cloud and back down to the PC. Thanks for any advice!

When I choose a network drive as custom location for my Catalog in Elements Organizer 2022 on Windows 10, it gives me a warning that it's not recommended, but allows me to click 'yes' to change to the network location.  However, even after clicking 'yes', it does not actually change to the network location.  I tried this in Elements Organizer 11 and it changed to the network location without any issues.  This appears to be a bug in Elements Organizer 2022.  Has anyone else had this issue?

Hello!Sometimes the GPS data is not displayed and the pictures are not pinned. The coordinates are available in the file properties of Windows and are also correctly displayed by the Windows Photo app and the geosetter. It works for some pictures, but not for some, although the camera is the same (Huawei Mate 10 mobile phone).I add 2 examples in the attachment.How can the problem be solved?Thank you so much!Andy

  Is it possible to open a DNG RAW file and save the edited file as a 16 bit file with an Adobe RGB color profile using Elements 2022?

I have been trying to make this cd cover with AudioLabel app. and on the front of the cover at the top right I circled where that line which should be the color gold keeps printing out brown. Could it be picking up the color of the photo on the left for some reason? I never had this one happen before. Help?

I have some old photos from the 1970s and 1980s that were taken before digital cameras were invented.  I scanned them into a computer in 2008-2009 and corrected their orientation at that time in Windows. When I uploaded them to my new computer which uses Windows 11, the orientation was wrong again.  It seems I can fix this using PE 2022, but is there any way I can correct the scanned photo file either through PE or Windows, so that the orientation remains fixed?  I would like a "clean" jpeg file that will keep any changes made so that the photos will be the same, whether viewed in Windows or PE. I hope this question makes sense.  I have little knowledge of the more intricate workings of either Windows or PE. Thanks so much for any and all help!

I just purchased PS Elements 2023 after using PSE 11 for many years, and I was hoping to find new useful tools additional to the ones I already knew. But instead , PSE 2023 seems to have rather less than more. Especially one tool is missing: In the past I loved the photomerge function "style match" and used it quite often. Now it seems to be removed from PSE. Really? Why should adobe discontinue a working functionality? Maybe I am wrong, and someone can help me find the tool (maybe renamed?) or show me a workaround to achieve the same effect? Style match was a rather complex function, transferring not only color schemes from one Image to another but also, contrast/clarity and other style characteristics - something you cannot do easily by hand. I wonder whether it was removed because too few people used it or because adobe wants to force its customers to move to another adobe product, preferably a subscription, like they did with Lightroom...After all a very disappointing experience!&n

i have an problem with installing my element 10 from 2011, it says that serial number is invalid so do i need to buy another one or i can fix this somehow? thanx

When I create any moving file the saved file is too large for email.  Tried with jpg 800 and 1024 image size. Is this normal or it's just my lack of experience

I downloaded and activated 2023 elements succesfully. I have come back to laptop after restart and now its asking me to activate again and nothing happens. my organiser is launched but editor wont, without activation and it wont accept the number again it just thinks and then goes back input page

I have been using Photoshop Elements 2023 since October without isssue. All of a sudden now, when I crop an image, it automatically resizes it and makes it tiny, like postage stamp sized. Can you help with this? I'm on a Macbook Pro 13.1 (22C65)

Seit mehreren Jahren erstelle ich mit Photoshop Elements jeweils Kalender. Nunmehr beginnt im Kalender der erste Wochentag mit einem Sonntag. Davor die Jahre war es immer Montag. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie man dieses wieder ändern kann? Gruß Cord

HELP... I am currently running PSE 2019 on a Windows 10 PC. Got a new computer. Need to transfer over 45,000 photos organized into albums and with keyword tags to the new computer. Trying to backup the catalog to an external drive that has plenty of storage. Multiple attempts to back up gives me an list of hundreds of files with a .xmp, .json, or .jpg extension. I also get a file that that is titled catalog.buc but not a catalog.tly file. I have reconnected all missing files, repaired the catelog even though it did not need a repair, and optimized the catalog.  I am at my wits end and have spent more time than this should take! How can I successfully get the old catalog onto my new computer with all the keywords and albums intact? Please help!

Nach der Installation von Elements 2023 und Übernahme des Kataloges aus Elements 2019 erscheint die Darstellung der Bilder im Katalog hell grau bzw. dunkelgrau. Ich kann aber nicht ergründen warum manche Bilder hellgrau und manche Bilder dunkelgrau sind.Außerdem sind aus meinen Projekten in Premiere Elements die Bilder in den Videocollagen verschwunden (offline) obwohl sie im Katalog vorhanden sind. Sobald ich die Collagen neu erstelle werden einige Bilder nicht dargestellt. Funktioniert sobald ich im Katalog eine Kopie erstelle und die übernehme.

Bei dieser Größe treten immerwieder Probleme beim Speichern/ Sichern auf.Daher möchte ich nun mit einem neuen Katalog weiter machen. Um nicht alle meine Tags (Orte, Ereignisse, Personen) neu anlegen zu müssen, suche ich einen Weg, um die Tags des alten Katalogs in den neuen zu importieren.Wie kann ich das bewerkstelligen? How can I make a large collage of about 18 family photos about 20x30 inches in PSE 22?  I think I would try to somehow set an image size of 20x30 inches.  Then keep adding layers in various positions to create the collage? My ultimate goal is to order a 20x30 inch canvas print using the final collage jpeg image.Thanks for your assistanceBob N

Hi Forum users,Am I the only one who is tired of clicking to remove the blue button that appears at the bottom of my MacBook Air screen every time I open an Adobe applications? What is really bad is that it overlays all other windows on my Mac if I don't remove it.Since I'm not interested in this, I'd like not to see this suggestion constantly.Any ideas?Thank you,

I am currently using Photoshop Elements 10 on my 8-year old desktop. I would like to upgrade to the new 2023 version but my computer does not meet the minimum requirements so I have purchased a new Dell.Procedurally, I would like to install ver 10 on the new computer (I still have the install CD). After it is in place and working with my photo files, I want to download the 2023 version and test it out.So, my question what is the best order to do the following:- Copy the photo libraries to the new computer.- Copy C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\ to the new computer.- Install PSE 10 (Q: Will the new install overwrite the catalogs?)- Then, after I've verified ver 10 is stable, download 2023 and test it.Am I missing anything? As part of installing Elements, I was asked to allow Elements Editor access to control my computer.  Why is Elements asking for control of my computer?  I am not happy to give this permission, but would like to know why it needs to do this and what the benefits (if any) are of allowing it to do so.Thanks for your input.
