Photoshop Elements

I am trying to print an image 1000x700 mm but I just cant do the settings right in print studio pro. What is the secret to the settings? I have a 42" rollpaper and a Canon ipf 4000. I am getting crazy here not being able to do it right. The print gets a few mm to small.  

Can anyone tell me if Photoshop elements 2021 will work with the new MacOs Monterey 12.5 or is there still issues.  I don't want to do the upgrade right now if PE is going to crash.   I made the mistake and upgraded to Big Sur when it came out and had to go out and buy a newer version of PE cause PE would no longer work. Thank you

New Macbook Pro running Monterey. Programs copied over but can't open-says not licensed, and to sign in. Signing into Adobe account doesn't help. Do I need to uninstall PSE Version 20 and reinstall? (Organizer is not lcurretly icensed; log into Elements to update the licensing information.) How do I get this to work? Thanks! 

I use OS Catalina last version, and Elements Organizer 2020.Elements Auto Creations 2020 use to much resources, so I have deselected Generate Auto Creations.  Still Auto Creations is running, and not responding – even if I restart.  What’s wrong?

My computer just updated to Monterey and it won't open.  I saw the previous post saying the same thing and went to the link, which didn't take me to a fix.  Is this going to be a problem if I purchase?  Would like to continue my trial!

I have just upgraded to PSE 2022 and restored my backup from PSE 10 however while the photos have arrived I can't see any tags that have arrived, also there was a list of files that couldn't be restored so I'm not yet sure what these are. Can anyone help me with this? 

New user: I cannot see how to export an edited photo so I can e-mail it. "export" is greyed; Share is only to Social Media I do not use. It must surely be simple?

PSE 20, using Windows 10, can't print to my Epson 15000 printer. 

Purchased a Nikon Z72 camera and shoot RAW format (.NEF) images. When downloading these images in Elements 2022 Organizer's downloader, I see only generic thumbnail space holders for my images when using XQD cards or CFExpress cards, but not when using SD cards. I am not recording in the largest image size option, but in the middle sized option. How is this fixed?

Anyone know where to put the Eye Candy 64 bit plug-in? I ahev tried about eveyplace I can think of. Not sure why the Commmon Files Plugins folder doesn't work with it, But so far I can find no folder that will allow Eye Candy to show in the Filters Menu

 I have all my photos keyword tagged as to where they were taken. Is there a way to use the keyword tags to place them on the places location map. There is sadly no gps location data just my manual keyword tags. Although I have manually added some foreign photo locations on the map, oddly some UK locations have appeared on the places map but I don't know how. Is there a straightforward way for Places to access my keyword tags and place on the Places map, I know this may not be perfect as there are several Manchesters for example, but it would save much time for tousands of images. Any suggestions much appreciated

Hello, I see it often mentioned here in the Elements Community forum that each year's new version of Elements is a separate stand-alone program and it's not necessary to uninstall an old version when you install a new version. So, I have PSE 14, PSE 2019, PSE 2020, and PSE 2022 installed on my Windows 10 PC. Each one of them works just fine. If they are separate programs, why can I NOT open PSE 14 and PSE 2022 together so I can flip back and forth to see the difference between them? If I open a photo in PSE 14 and then try to open PSE 2022, nothing happens. PSE 2022 will not open. WHY NOT??

I've been a long-time Adobe PSE user so two weeks ago when my app began throwing fits - freezing, and then refusing to launch, I thought it must be a corruption issue.  Life got in the way and I finally got back to dealing with this app.  I'm on a 2018, running Monerey 12.5.  I uninstalled the app and downloaded the app from the Adobe site.  Still no go.  I've rebooted my mini, which makes no difference at all.  In fact, I can't even get Organizer to launch...just the spinning cog of death. Mac mini

Hello, The CROP function is completely glitchy in Elements (quick or expert) on my HP laptop-360 envy.  I have just downloaded Elements 2022 for the first time on this laptop.  I have used the crop function for many years on a desktop with no issues. When I try to crop, dragging the corner function does not create a cropped image as I wish...it sort of bounces around and will settle on what it wants.  Even IF I click green check mark to take the crop, it will often then produce a cropped image MUCH smaller than what I had clicked "yes" to....CRAZY! I have tried rebooting, clicking "reset" in bottom right corner when on the crop screen, changing unchecking and then rechecking "unable crop reselection" in "preferences - general" - may work once or twice after changing something - but then goes right back to unusable.  I have also checked "reset preferences on next launch" and rebooted.  Whatever I do, it may work once or twice, and it keeps glitching! PLEASE help

I'm wondering if anyone has seen an issue running Photoshop Elements, where after some use, you can suddenly see the desktop background through the "empty space" gray area in the Elements editor workspace?  This was happening on my old iMac (so I blamed the screen).  Now I'm running a brand new Mac Studio with a new mac monitor, and I'm seeing this issue again.  It only happens in Elements.  No other applications on my Mac (Finder, Numbers, Topaz Denoise, Topaz Sharpen AI, etc have this issue, which leads me to believe it's a problem with Elements.  Users of Photoshop CS reported similar issues and were advised to turn off some particular settings, none of which are available in the Elements preferences. If anyone has seen this or resolved it, please let me know.  Thanks!

I am fairly new to using Elements (Windows version) and have a rookie question. After putting about 6000 photos into the Organizer section with most all photos keyworded, when I do a search the results will pop up on screen.  Then when I want to edit a specific photo from the search result I don't seem to have access to the Editor function.  I left click or right click the selected photo to no avail.  No other controls on the screen allow me to edit either. So how do I edit a photo after finding it via a search in Elements 2022?  Thanks.

I am having trouble getting existing captions to import into Adobe Elemenets Organizer 2022 for Windows. I have approx 28,000 pictures I'm trying to import where I set the captions in another software, but the captions don't show up when I import them into Elements.I discovered exiftool. There's a bit of a learning, curve, but it does allow me to look at the current metadata on the file. Before importing, I can see that the caption is set in the following areas:EXIF:ImageDescriptionXMP:TitleXMP:DescriptionIPTC:Caption-AbstractBut, when I import the picture, the caption does not show up on the right (Under "General" when selecting a file in the Grid) or in the single image view. But, if I set the caption in Elements, write the metadata to the file, and then look at it using the exiftool, it shows the new caption under:XMP:DescriptionIPTC:Caption-AbstractI don't understand why it wouldn't import these if they are already set in the metadata fields that Elements writes to when it updates

Why do I lose people tags from a photo which I edit and save with a different name?In earlier versions of PE this didn't happen. All tags were retained by default during edits.I am using Vn 15.I give a photo a person tag.I edit it and save it with a different name.Now the people tag is missing from the edited version

In 2018 ? Heb ik samen met een vriendin Photoshop Elements 8 gekocht. Mijn versie deed het niet meer, dus ik wilde opnieuw installeren. Nu zegt het syteem: uw serienummer klopt niet of is vervallen. Hoe kan dit en wat moet ik doen? 

I have the latest version of Photoshop Elements 2022 on my PC.  Does it have lens profiles (Canon) similar to what Lightroom has.  One click in LR can usually remove vignetting or other lens issues.  I've looked and don't see it anywhere in Elements (Organizer or Editor).  If its there and I missed it can someone kindly show me how to use the feature.  Thanks.

I used a filter. It was the pixalate filter to extrude. It worked just fine but the blocks were a little too small. I wanted to do it again but now the filter will not work,  I can not change the size of the distortion because the image I'm working on will not change. I do not know why the filter will not let me use the distortion thing again?  The layer was locked so I unlocked it, still nothing works. I tried saving the image, closing it out and re-opening the image. Still nothing works? Any help?
