Photoshop Elements

I've installed Elements 2022 and with the Organizer I get no response when trying to access the drop down lists on the top bar. Neither of the File, Edit, Find, View or Help tabs respond. I can access everything else bar these. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dell

After latest update I can not se thumbs af my CR3 files in the importwindow when I import from card reader. It shows that there is a file but no picture is shown

I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 from Best Buy a couple of months ago. The Camera Raw with the purchse was 14.1 and I need to upgrade the Camera Raw to version 14.4. Downlowned the file from Adobe web site and installed. After the installation, it still shows 14.1. I turn off the computer and then turn it back on, it is still showing 14.1. Why the app didn't take the update? Help!!!!!!!!!!

After my trial period expired I tried to uninstall Elements 2022 in Windows 11 and it shows up as a 2.14 GB app but when I click on Uninstall it has a long error message saying a lot of things but ultimately that there is no Uninstaller.exe file found. Adobe help just says to go to the Add/Remove programs and Uninstall.Thanks but it does not work.

Heres a strange one.  Suddenly - not aware of any recent updates or events - I cannot open PS Elements 2020 on my Intel iMac running OS12.4. It just says: "Adobe Photoshop cannot run on this computer because the minimum system requirement is Mac OS X version ".  (and no version number is shown on the message). Yet it had been working a couple of days before. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Elements 2020.  I have tried installing a trial of 2022. I have looked at permissions.  I have even re-installed OS12.4.  But for all Elements versions I get that message.  As it happens I also have Adobe CC Photo subscripton and PS and Lightroom Classic which all open up fine, as does all other software. Any ideas???? 

                            I expected to see a file named My Catalog somewhere on my computer. But I don't see a file by that name. How  can I move the catalog to a new computer if I can't see the file? Also I backed up My Catalog to a flash drive and i see many individual files not a file named my catalog. I assume each individual file represents the data for one photo, right?

Hi,I upgraded my old HHD to a larger SSD. I cloned the old 😧 drive and made the old drive the Z: drive and on the Z drive I put all old files in a folder named OldZ. When I look at the file info I see that PSE is looking for the files on Z: I created a brand new catalog and imported the files from 😧 and they showed correctly in the File Info. But when I closed PSE and opened it again later, the files showed not found and PSE was looking in Z: again. Would anyone have a solution? I have thousands of photos and Reconnect would take forever. Thanks,Dieter

I have PE 12 on an older PC with Win 8.1.  I have purchased a new PC with Win 11 and now have a Lightroom registration.  I need guidance on how to migrate/copy/transfer the PE 12 catalog (or PE 12 itself if required) from the old PC to the new PC so that Lightroom can access it?  I hope not to have issues with the "license" for PE 12 when moving from the old PC to the new PC.  Does Adobe Help provide guidance on how to make this migration?   I have "Full Backup" files from PE 12 on an external Drive.

I am trying to learn Photoshop Elements 2022, using a PC. In this particular case, I am trying to replace the background of a photo with a new background taken from another picture, following this YouTube video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kADZHaZmiYIn the process, I have to first open the picture whose background I want to remove, then make duplicate layer to work on, saving the original one as my background; no problem, so far. Both of these layers are visible in the layer panel to the right side of the screen, as they should be.The second step is to open a second picture which contains the new background (a blue sky, in my case) that I want to place into the first, original picture.However, whenever I open the second picture containing the sky I want to use (at 2:25 in the video), the first picture disappears from the main work area of Elements as well as from the two above layers in the layer panel. I have been using Photoshop elemeent 10 since I bought it in 2012. I only use it to change the size of pictures. I recently purchased a new computer and would like to download it  to my new computer. is there anyway to do that from either Adobe site or from my old computer.  I don't want to have a monthly payment to "rent " a new progran from cloud. can anyone help? or is there an inexpensive way to upgrade my element 10 to something I can download?

I am using Photoshop Elements 2022 on Windows 11. My monitor has a resolution of 5.120 x 2.160 pixels (5K2K) and my font scaling is set to 175% in my Display Settings.When I open Photoshop Elements 2022 then I am seeing black bars (see screenshot) which make the software unusable for me. Does anyone else has this problem?

My photo folders contain apprx 50'000 photos.  When I updated from PS organizer (PSO) 2018 to 2022 the PSO shows apprx 150'000 photos.  The original photos have been duplicated or triplicated with a different file names like this "4DD810B5-73C7-45CE-9554-DD8CB2428814_4_5005_c.jpeg" .  Why this has happended and What should I do to eliminate the excess photos?

Hello:  I am using Photoshop Elements 2020 and a Ugee M708 drawing tablet.  I have the tablet software installed.  When I click the pen button that is set for either paint/eraser or B and E, Photoshop quickly selects brush then eraser.  This is on just one click.  When it's set to B and E, clicking onto a text document only returns a B with one click and an E with the next click and then B then E...  So the input into the computer is good.  Weirdly, when I click B or E on the keyboard, Photoshop properly switches to B or E as expected. Suggestions?

I just downloaded Adobe Premiere Elements 2022 (30-day trial)I'm running a Mac Mini with Monterey MacOS 12.4I launch Premiere Elements > Click "VIDEO EDITOR" > click "EXPERT" (at the top) > click "ADD MEDIA" > click "WEBCAM" ....then CRAISH!**CRASH** Adobe Premiere Elements quit unexpectedly. **CRASH**Click Reopen to open the application again. Never used Elements, but want to.  Got 2020 w/Dell computer.  I want 2022 version upgrade so I can learn on the latest version.  How to do this?

I have both Photoshop 2019 and Phtoshop 2022 installed on my laptop. I want to get rid of Photoshop 2019 but i don't know how. There was an item in it's folder to "uninstall"it but it doesn't work. What do I do?

Suddenly I cannot use the lasso tool to add or subtract from a selection.  I have shut down and restarted my computer and it still will not work.  The quick selection tool will add or subtract from a selection but I cant use the lasso tool to do this. Mary Lou 

A number of users in a fb group have been talking about how they have a hard time seeing the "marching ants"- the outline of anything that is selected- with a quick selection brush for example.   I notice in many of the adds Adobe posts when they select something, such as when using select > subject the outline is rather thick, along the line s of 5 pixels.  Adjusting the thickness of the outline should be an option. 

PS Elements appears to open normally and the UI loads up immediately, however I cannot interact with ANY part of PSE for at least 30-45 seconds. This happens each time I try to open it, even If I close and immediately re-open two seconds later. Normally PSE would open within 5 seconds or less, and you could immediately open a photo and start working on it. This is a problem that recently popped up, and not longstanding issue.Any suggestions on how I can get PSE to work the way it did before?-No I don't have a Potato PC. I have A Lenovo Legion 5 Pro, with 32GB of ram, and a SSD. and a decent Ryzen Processor.-Yes, I have tried completely uninstalling PSE with Revo Uninstaller, and reinstalled to find I still have the problem.-I open the file "PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe" via a pinned icon on my taskbar, in order to bypass the unnecessary welcome screen.-I use Windows 11.

When I try to rearrange folders within the Folder Tree view of Organizer, I get the error message "You don't have permission to move the selected items to the location you have chosen." I am logged in as Admin, and none of the folders or files have in permission restrictions checked in the "Info" box.  I have no idea what to try next, please help!  Mac 12.1, Elements 2022.

Hi all,I have been using Photoshop Elements 2018 on Windows PC. Now I am planning to upgrade to version 2022. In doing that I would like to move the databases and catalogues to my NAS because I want to be able to access them from my Windows PC as well as from my wife's new Macbook. Now I need to know if the Mac OS version of Photoshop Elements 2022 can access catalogues on a NAS drive? Ralph
