Photoshop Elements

Hello,I just turned my Laptop back to factory settings and Im trying to re-installmy Photoshop Elements 11 - Every time i put the serial number in, it keeps sayingthat - Either the serial number or country information or both are missing. I haveput the number in with and without the dashes. Can someone tell me what could bethe problem?

I will be purchasing Elements today. Is it smart to import all my photos on my hard drive to Organizer? 

Hi everyone - plse help as there is no support for this because I own the version which seems old but is not really old.its fine.If I have registered Version 13 PHCS6 (own) a year ago but had to update now to windows 10 and reinstalled it and have it now againit suddenly asks me to register it again although it was already registered with same serial number .Should I ignore the message ? it simply wont connect to my account if I continue and the other option is remind me later..I can log into my account just like that but not through the open software taskline.plse help if you can.If I ignore the message and leave it will my program crash after 7 days because I did not connect to the account although it is registered already .I hope you can follow me. I also want to get the NFT moduel and need to get this fixed Ms LombardGermany

My wife is a click-happy photographer. We have two laptops and one 5TB external HD. 40k photos and growing, 300 GB file. We share duties, I catalog and tag, but since I have a color vision deficiency she does the editing. What I thought I could do was: catalog and tag on my computer and backup to external HD. Restore on her computer. While she is editing on her computer I do nothing on my computer. When we have new photos to import she stops editing and we backup her computer. I bring it to my computer. I delete the old backup and restore the new backup. We keep doing this back and forth stuff whenever we get new photos. This is nuts. Gotta be a better way. Plus it took 11 hours to do it. Any help would be appreciated. Keep it simple, I'm not all that bright. Thanks,Jerry

Bonjour, depuis que je suis sur Mac os monterey avec PE 2019 l'éditeur de photos ne fonctionne plus : j'ai un message d'erreur. j'ai donc décidé de migrer vers PE 2022 (81,60 €). Avec ce nouveau logiciel, dans organizer, je ne peux pas afficher les photos en grand, j'ai un carré gris avec un point d'interrogation au milieu. j'ai désinstallé et réinstallé plusieurs fois, mais rien n'y fait. avez-vous une solution ?merci

Just purchased Elements 2022 for my new high-spec, Windows 11 laptop. Can access the Organiser, but the program freezes completely when trying to access the Photo Editor; can only exit via Task Manager. Uninstalled and reinstalled the program, and have turned the laptop off a few times, but exactly the same problem. Any ideas, please?

Ist es irgenwie möglich PSE 2022 ohne die Creative Cloud zu installieren? Ich nutze eine frei gekaufte Version. Bei der AppleStore Version scheint das zu gehen, habe ich aber zu spät erfahren. Mit meiner, scheinbar, nicht? Was mich stört ist nicht die CC an sich, sondern dass permanent, auch wenn ich PSE nicht nutze, ein gutes Dutzend Dienste für PSE gestartet sind und laufen. Ich weiß auch unter PSE2014 (bisher genutzt) gab es Dienste , die gestartet wurden und nicht originar dem Programm, sondern der Lizenzprüfung dienten. Damit habe ich auch gar kein Problem, wenn das Programm nutze. Allerdings, wenn ich es nicht nutze gibt es für mich überhaupt keinen Grund , warum das Programm PSE "nach Haues telefonieren" möchte. Ich nutze ja schließlich ein Kauf und keine Gratisversion.

New to PSE.  When I open a RAF file it opens in Camera Raw 13.0. After I do my edits when I save, a DNG file is produced. Now *can* I work with this DNG file in photoshop elements and then produce a JPG eventually. When I try to open this DNG file PSE always opens only in Camera Raw. How do I convert this DNG file to JPG

I create my photo collection using PSE 20 and a Catalog that was created in and called PSE Catalog 2022.  My workflow and use is suited for me using this method and I wanted to learn Photoshop although I prefer the PSE organization of files.  All my Adobe Apps resides in an External Drive.  I recentl purchased a new computer that operates under Windows 11. I attempted the merge of catalogs but failed several time over the past several months; experts in the use of LrC indicated that in the past LrC does not catch up to these types of OS changes immediately.  The big issue is that my captioning does not get into the Metadata. Is this a know issue that I will have to just live with?

I tagged 142 faces of "Allison" and then searched for them.  Result is row upon row of rectangular images of varying dimensions. Right OR left clicking on an image displays a white check mark in a field of blue, and subsequent clicks toggles the check mark.  I see no information about the selected JPG.  Almost any information about it could lead me to its location, enabling me to work with it, such as using it in a birthday card.  How can I learn the desired information?

I have Windows 11 and Photoshop Elements 2022.  I may have the terminology wrong, but previously when I used Instant Fix to edit a photo, it would stack the edited version on top of the original.  In the Organizer, the edited photo had a triangle (arrow?) on the right side of the edited photo and when I clicked on it, it would open the stack so that the original photo was beside the edited photo. My problem now is that I don't have the triangle (arrow?) after editing.  I do have a Version Set square in the upper-right corner of the edited photo.  I think I must have changed something, possibly in the Edit tab, so that I cannot unstack the photo to see my original.  I click on the Edit tab and the Stack and the Version Set in the drop-down menu are grayed out. I have used Photoshop Elements 11, Photoshop Elements 2020, and now Photoshop Elements 2022 and have never run across this problem previously.  As a warning to anyone offering help

Hallo zusammen. Ich habe einen umfangreichen Katalog mit ca. 20.000 Bilder. Jede Menge Tags habe ich angelegt, u. a. viele Personentags. Die waren auf einmal weg bzw. sind nicht mehr sichtbar. In der Leiste rechts kann ich die Personen (z. B. "Susanne") noch anwählen, sind aber inhaltlich leer wenn ich d´raufklicke. In anderen Programmen bzw. Uploads (flickr) sind sie noch  sichtbar. Neuerdings werden im Organizer unter den Bildern auch die Dateinamen nicht mehr angezeigt. Nur noch Datum, Uhrzeit und die anderen Tags. Woran kann das liegen? Zur Infos: ich habe einen leistungsfähigen Rechner und noch viel Speicherplatz.

My photos are all taken with with phone, so unless the shot is in landscape mode all the shots are *taken* right side up. Much of the time PSE imports in landscape mode, requiring me to go through hundreds of photos and rotate them. Is there some way to avoid this? And does anyone have any idea why PSE is doing this? Thanks.

I've just upgraded from Elements 8 because it had inexplicably stopped working. Now when I go to run the Photo Editor it asks me to sign in.I'm using software I have installed on my PC to edit photos on my PC, so why do I have to sign in to or for?Also, why has it bloated from 332MB to nearly 3GB (including some cloud stuff.) (I was unable to post this using Firefox also.)

I am using the Enhance > Adjust Color > Replace Color feature to try and change areas of one color to another.  The color replacement in itself is working, my issue is that the replacement color I specify isn't exactly what the program changes it to.  For example, I select an area of an orangy red with HSB values of 14,57,73 and want to replace it with a darkish red with HSB values of 357,67,55.  However, after using Replace Color, when I check the color that now appears in my image it has HSB values of 357,60,63 which is NOT what I requested. It is important that I be able to specify the exact replacement colour and so this difference, while small, is not acceptable in my case.  There are other colour replacements that I've been trying and they are as bad, and in some cases much worse, than what I have specified. Why is Photoshop Elements not honoring the exact HSB values that I input? BTW, the image is in RGB format and I have also tried disab

Using PSE 14.  For the past couple of weeks, I have noticed that new patterns, which I create, are showing a seam.  I have never had this problem before, so don't understand why.  I have recreated patterns over and over, because I've assumed I have done something wrong.  I get the same result.  I suspect this is a bug after a recent update or could it be one of my settings?  Patterns I've produced prior to the last few weeks all work fine, so something has changed. Can anyone point me in the right direction?Here is a screenshot of my pattern and the result when used (note: you can see borders on the screenshots which are not part of the pattern.  I was just a bit sloppy when selecting the screenshot)   Any help would be appreciated.  I'm getting desperate!

I use stacks to organize similar shots for editing or for just minimizing the clutter in the organizer view. But, it is always the case that I find another photo that I would like to add to an existing stack. I cannot find any facility in Organizer to do this. I found a convoluted way to do this by first selecting a photo in the stack (any photo) and then selecting the additional photo. This creates a unusual looking stack; kind of a stack within a stack but it does include the photo.  The must be a better way. Does anyone know how to do this. It seems like this would have been included in the stack dialog box but I don't see it. Thanks.

Nach der Bearbeitung gescannter Fotos meldet Organizer immer wieder, dass Fotos nicht gespeichert werden können, weil angeblich schon in einer Datei vorhanden. Dies ist jedoch in aller Regel falsch! Wer kann Auskunft geben, wie dies behoben werden kann??

I have a 30 line set of text that I want to add beneath a photo. I know how to increasae image size for this but how do I add all the text in one go?

Hello from Germany!I own Photoshop Elements 2020. Is it possible to buy and register Photoshop Elements 2022 NEW or do I have to upgrade from 2020 to 2022? If I buy the new 2022 version it's cheaper than an upgrade to 2022. But is that possible? Have I to delete the 2020 version?Thank you!

Hi!I bought PSE to my MacBook Air last year in the summer and installed it, it worked fine despite it was in english not swedish as my natural language, but as I also has a PC and there has a swedish version of PSE 2020 it was no big problem.But about some 1 or 2 months ago it did'nt start any more, it does not answer is the message I got from my Mac. Is it because the OS has ben updated or what has gone wrong? And how do I solve the problem, I am not interested in bying a whole new version of PSE 2022 if I in any way can awoid it.
