Photoshop Elements

After recently updating my Mac I have opened Photoshop Elements 14 and whil I can copy in images, etc, whenever I go to open a new document I just get the spinning wheel. Just wondering if there's any solutions or fixes for this issue, please?

Hi, after accidently wiping elements14 from my imac I tried the disc to reinstall. unfortunately it says installer needs update, Not sure what to do so, Im thinking of buying 2021 will i have the same problem ? Thankyou.

There are no foreground or background colors on the left-hand side toolbar how do I get to hex colors? This is the trial version

I use Adobe photoshop without no problem. Yesterday I installed Nero Platinum 2022. Now Adobe will not open/start. I receive an runtime 140 error. What to do?Kind regards Ilse

Several of my photos are not showing a location entry on the "Image Tags" section when viewed in the Media view, even though the image does show up on the map at the correct location. It appears that newer photos I'm importing from my phone (Samsung Galaxy S21 via USB) are automatically dropping on the map, but not all are adding a location tag. The same photos are also missing from the Search window when I look at that location in the Places parameter. For exmaple, these two photos were taken at the same location just a few minutes apart:Showing a tag:Not showing a tag:Both images DO show up on the correct location on the map. There are no images in the unpinned places in the Places view; conversely, the number of pinned items matches the number of items in my collection. I have no idea how many of my items (nearly 13,000) do not have a tag, and there doesn't seem to be another way of identyfying images missing a location other than the unpinned places view.

Yesterday I bought my upgrade but must have pushed the wrong button. My Photo Editor has disappeared. Please help mo to get it back!

Just donwlodaded Adobe photoshop elements 2022.  Organizer is opening but not Editor.  What is the solution?

I just realized that the captions I have added to thousands of photos in Elements do not exist in the photo file. Can I fix this or am I forever stuck with Elements???

So about 2 years ago when I was still running Win 7 on my laptop I installed my Photoshop Elements 2019 - I purchased the full retail version from Walmart.  I got the computer thru school & the VA.  I also received the software to upgrade to Win10, but until recently I never installed the upgrade because Win7 worked perfectly fine for my purposes & I had never really used Win10 before... wasn't comfortable with it.  Recently, I had no choice but to install Win10... I kept receiving a blue screen message that said Win 7 was no longer supported... then when I tried to use one of my programs (Cricut Design Space) i received a compatibility issue error message - it would not work with Win7 or it would only work with Win10.  I wasn't able to do a simple upgrade... multiple reasons apparently, so I had to do a full restore, then I installed Win10, & my Virus protection & my MS Office... but when I tried to install my PE 2019... I ended up having to install

Although PSE 2018 does not specifically support focus stacking I was able to do this quite well using the supported Photomerge function.If you want to do this try the following.1. Open/load all the photos you want to stack, or animate in editor2. Go to Guided, Photomerge,and select Panorama3, Change Auto Panorama to Reposition4. On panorama setting I only use "blend images together"5. Click Create Panorama, "select all"6. I normally answer no to the would you like to automatically fill the edges query7 After the merge finishes, click on continue editing in expert mode8. You will be presented with a "stacked" image layer and all the original photos in their own layers showing the masking applied9. Feel free to the delete layers, delete masks, or remask with fuzzy edges as needed to create a perfect focus stack10. If you had a series of action shots and want to create an animated gif do this          a. delete the masks leave only the now perf

Hello there, I have Photoshop Elements 10 and each time I hover or quickly run my mouse over the image taps, right under where the settings for tools would be (I have marked the said tap in the picture below), a file/image location pops up in a long thin box and then goes away. It is very distracting to say the least because I usually work pretty fast and fx adjust my brush size alot and thus cross the taps repeatedly with my mouse which causes the said box to pop up and disappear numerous times. I am doing a small study on stamp overprints - I need to be able to filter out everything BUT the writing/overprint/postmark  - it is usually black writing on a different coloured stamp. I have trawled through the net and either i am missing something or else this isn’t something that has been asked in this sort of forum before.Attached is an example - a blue Turkish stamp from the 1860s. Were I to want to see JUST the Arabic and NOT the blue underlying stamp how can this be achieved.I am usually fairly IT savvy but this one is eluding me for once. Many thanks in advance.

I have Photoshop Elements 18 with the original NIK Collection as an addon. My problem is that the NIK menu doesn't always show. It only shows when PSE is closed and I select to edit an image (that is in Faststone) in PSE from a Faststone dropdown menu (right click in Faststone>Edit with External Program). If I now close the image in PSE, NIK's menu disappears? When leaving PSE open and either choosing an image to edit from PSE>Open or from Faststone>Edit with External Program, the image opens in PSE, but there is no NIK menu? Now the kicker: In all cases when NIK's menu doesn't appear, clicking File>Automated Tools>NIK Collection Selective Tools apparently does nothing to show the NIK menu??? However, even though, under the above conditions, I can't get to the NIK menu directly, I can go to Filter>NIK>which then allows for selection of a specific NIK tool...but this is a PITA as I have to keep going to Filter>NIK for each specific tool? Basically and bottom line

Hello, I am trying out PSE22 and wonder, that simple Drag and Drop of Laers into another Tab is not possible? As the Help-Site says "Use the Move tool (Select section of the toolbox), to drag the layer from the source image to the destination image.", I suggest it should work like I know it from my older Version. Are there Workarounds that do not make more clicks? Will Adobe fix this soon?

My 2022 Elements is up to date and I already updated the RAW update.  I still cannot open RAW images!! I use a Nikon D7200 and it is a supported camera.  What next to do?

Hi! I have got a full license for Photoshop Elements 2021 and a full license for Photoshop Elements 2022.In my Adobe account, I see the license for 2022, but the license for 2021 is missing.2021 itself is currently still working fine. Why don't I see it in my account? Best regards,Thomas

I just installed Photoshop Elements 2022.  The toolbox on the left side of the screen is too big and I can't see the bottom of the toolbox.  I've looked through all the preferences, tried right clicking the toolbox and also tried to hide the taskbar to no avail.  I've tried changing the resolution of my display, but it only makes it worse.  Anyone know of a solution?

I have PSE 2018 including a catalog with approx. 20000 items.I installed PSE 2022 and let Organizer convert this catalog. Now, when I open it, all recent items (and I mean from 2015 and later), which are in the 2018 catalog, are NOT in the 2022 catalog.What now?

My PC was recently updated and now my Photoshop Elements 12 program won't open, it wants me to start a new trial period and re-purchase.I encountered this issue once before and thought I saved the "fix" that someone provided to me but of course now I can't locate it.Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!Pam R

I am using a MacBook Air running MacOs 12.01 and Photoshop Elements Organizer 2021. I am trying to merge two contact sheets of which I have images. No matter what I do, I cannot select both images in the PhotoBin using the suggested Command/Click command. Can anyone halp me? Previous posts on this topic deal with older versions of Organizer and MacOS.

Elements 12 loads and seems to function as normal on Monterey and the copy and paste functiont allows working on clipboard.  However, it is impossible to print, to export or save the completed work file in any format.  The program shuts down if that is attempted! Any workaround suggestions would be sppreciated.

OK.Par contre, je rencontre 2 pbs avec la fonction Photomerge/panorama.a) sur PSE10sous 'fichier nouveau', photomerge se présente, comme d'habitude.Mais l'écran retourne aussitôt à l'écran d'accueil w10...??tout autre fonction s'active correctement.Que faire, vu qu'une réistalation ne change rien ? b) en PSE19Sous 'Fichier Nouveau, il n'y a rien d'autre que ....' fichier vide 'je ne retrouve mention de photomerge/panorama qu'en ramant entre les 30 'nouveautés de l'écran d'accueil ( bien entendu vers la fin du défilé)cela fonctionne mais s'avère laborieux.Comment retrouver 'photomerge' rattaché à 'fichier' de l'écran 'expert' ?Merci de votre aide.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello, Currently, I use PS Elements 18 (considering 2022) and locally stored photos. I need a new machine, which is going to be Win 11 with a smaller HDD.  I am wondering if I store my photos in dropbox online. Will organizer be able to link/list these file?  If so there a way to limit the sync to a specific folder and all subfolders that are added to that specific folder? 

Hello, I wonder if anyone can advise me please. I am trying to learn how to make repeat patterns for textiles from photographed handpainted designs. I struggle with photoshop because it's so complicated and I am fairly new to it. I have had more success using Elements for editing photos - which I currently have on free trial. However, I cant figure out on either program, how to make repeat patterns from photos. I dont have a lot of time left on the free trial or time to dedicate to experimenting before it runs out. Can anyone advise me whether it is possible to do this on Elements please - if so, I will buy it and figure it out later. If not, I will have to stick with Photoshop and continue to be overwhelmed by it I suppose. Many thanks if anyone can help.Hannah
