Photoshop Elements

I have 1 license of Elements. I have uninstalled the software and unlinked from the PC in my Adode account. However (and after talking to an online support person) when I use the license key it states it is already in use and - if I try more than 3 times - it accuses me of using a torrent key. This product is not expensive, but I am going mad trying to find a solution. My only conclusion is that Adobe are trying to kill off all perpetual licenses to force users on to subscription. Any ideas please?

I want to know if Elements 2022 can organize by category, sub-category, etc to locate photos in a group or a specific item. For Example: Birds, waterfowl, dabbling ducks, mallards ?

Every so often, I go into Organizer, and need to convert my psds into jpegs.  These are ones I have forgotten to do when editing, and there could be as many as 100.  At present, I edit again each individual picutre, make a small change then save as a jpeg.  Is there a quicker method?  Thank you.

I'm a long time Photoshop user but decided to give Elements a try. I tried a few of my psd files and everything in the layers menu is grayed out.  Thinking it may be the photos, I downloaded one from the Adobe stock photo website and opened that. Same thing. Can someone help me out here? How do I get layers?  Also while we're at it, where are the selection tools, like the square, circle, pen, and all that? Do they not exist in Elements?  Did they make Elements really frustrating so everyone will buy or stick with the more expensive Photoshop? 😉 

Can anyone tell me, with Photoshop Elements 2020, is there an easy way to open multiple files as separate layers in a single image?At the moment, I seem to have to open them all then individually Select All; Edit -> Copy then Paste into the combined image.TIA

Most experienced photographers suggest shooting in RAW mode.  For this reason and due mostly to an issue that I had with my camera over-exposing images, I switched to using RAW files and began to use Adobe Camera RAW to initially edit the images.  However, that lead me to have the following questions:-1)  In the Camera RAW dialog, the Open Image button passes the processed RAW data into Photoshop Elements to continue editing.  So my first question is how much of the RAW data is passed to PE?  All of it or just what has been necessary to produce the image on the screen using the settings from the Camera RAW dialog?2) If the answer to Q1 is not all of the data, then is the recommendation that as much of the editing should be done in Camera RAW before opening the image in PE for the last few tweaks?Thanks.

Using PSE for digital scrapbooking, I used to be able to make cute titles out of my various papers but lost the directions. How can I use a font to type a title and then stamp or cut it out of a separate piece of paper to capture that color and pattern and then place into my page (In other words, creating a patterned paper title)?  I seem to remember maybe using a blank page, doing some copying and pasting and having marching ants showing me it was cut out and I could paste it into my digital scrapbook page.  

I recently did a clean install of everything in my iMac and upgraded to system 10.14.6 Mojave. (Yes, I realize I'm a bit behind the times). Since I have been unable to install or activate my Photoshop Elements 13 program which I have used on this computer for years (although with an earlier version of my OS). I have tried from the beginning several times, from scratch, and it always tells me I am not connected to the internet when I clearly AM connected. I try to get an offline validation and it tells me I need to generate a "response code" which I can't do without a "request code" but there is NOTHING anywhere that tells me how to get a "request code". I have tried everything I can come up with, and my much more computer savvy daughter has also tried to do it. We have given up. Unless there is some sort of simple answer that will make this software work I'm going to surrender and this will simply be the last Adobe product I ever try to use again. If Elements 13 simply isn't compatible

I haven't been able to import and load as a frame any PSD file - a frame downloaded from the Internet.What can be the reason?

How many live installs of the latest Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 2022 can you have?  I recently got a hand-me-down laptop and would like to install the two programs on it. I already use the two on my home computer.  It used to be two live installs (I believe). Is that still the case?  Thanks for any help.  

Chat support infoms me it is not possible to make icons (.ico files) with PS Elements 2022 with Windows 10 operating system.  Can anyone recommend a trusted add-on that can take care of that for me?Thanks!

Hello everyone, I'm using Photoshop Elements 2021 to apply a camera profile to a lot of .raf images, the results I want to save as compressed .tif and .png files.So far I've been using "process multiple files" but the resulting .tif files are twice the size of the original images. That's why I now want to use the LZW compression for all of them but there's no option in the "process multiple files" dialog to create compressed images.If I pick a single image and do "File - Save As" another pop-up shows up (after pressing "save") with compression options. For .tif files I can choose the LZW compression (and a couple of other settings too), for .png there are only 2 options:Compression: None/Fast or Smallest/SlowInterlace: None or Interlaced How do I pick LZW compression for pngs? And how do I use LZW compression with multiple files (with "process multiple files"?)?

I just downloaded Photoshop Elements 2022 free trial subscription. When deciding on the trial it is advertised as full featured. However, the trial does not seem to have all the tools that it should have. Shown in the picture below, right now, on the left side of the photo editor this is all I see. Where are all the rest of the tools. At the moment, all I want to do is draw a box and fill in the shape. Can someone please help. Thanks.

I have a legal copy of photoshop elements 12 here (i need exactly this version due to the hardware setup), but in my account, it says that the serial number is already in use. Is there any way an admin can "reset" this or how can I proof that I have a legal cop here, holding it in my hands right now?

Hi,I have recently purchased a Dell XPS15 laptop with a QHD+ (3200x1800) display. The PC is running Windows 8.1. I have also purchased Photoshop Elements 12 to run on it.With the display at the native resolution, it is necessary to have the "Change the size of all items" option in the display settings of Windows 8.1 set to "Larger", in order for the native Windows fonts and UI elements to be at a reasonable size. The laptop came with this option enabled by default.However, disappointingly the UI font size in Photoshop Elements is way too small when the display is at the native resolution. The application is basically unusable.I have tried setting the "Use system font" option in the General preferences, but this doesn't seem to help.The only way I can get the Photoshop Elements UI font to a reasonable size, is by dropping the screen resolution (to say 1920x1080).This seems like a terrible waste of a beautiful screen, particularly when my main reason for using the PC is for editing photo

No explanation.  Chatted with Adobe Elements people yesterday, had one aboard my computer, but they never got it working.  Spent more than two hours trying.  I paid for it, had the serial number, but it wouldn't load.  Finally a higher level tech said it wasn't compatible with OS 12.0.1. Rats!  But, this morning, I double-clicked a jpeg and it started right up.  Great!  Love the program *again*.  

Hi, i bought PSE 2021 and Premiere not long time ago - now want to re- install on Windows 11. Will it work, and if not - when?

Surface pen lets photoshop elements 2021 crash. When i use windows ink or other programs the surface pen works. When I use a mouse in ps elements 2021 it also works, but as soon as I trie to select it stops working. the rapport says something like ELEMENTS EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

I just purchased a Surface Pen. I'm using a Surface Pro 7 and Photoshop Elements 2021. The pen isn't working correctly. If I select a tool, say the Move tool, the Smudge is selected instead. If I select the Lasso, the Gradient is selected. If I instead, use my finger and touch the Pencil and then try to use the pen, it just has a precise curser. The pen seems to work fine in Paint or another program. I had been using an older Wacom tablet with success. I did got into Windows' calibrate pen twice, but it's still having problems. I have read many older posts that had problems with the Surface Pen, but nothing newer. Any help please?
