Photoshop Elements

When starting my PE 2021 dvd, I get a small window that shows Language and Place to put the program. I can't enlarge that window, and I can't continue. I tried to use the setup.exe method, same problem. Tried a different browser, didn't work. Tried to download & enter the serial number to unlock, but same problem. Please help.

i see a wonderful picture to download from my yahoo email.  i download the photo and its very grainy/blurry.  i have photoshop elements 2021.  i have been working on fixing this issue for a month to no avail.  can anyone help me please?  can i send you the picture? Hi, I have a large number of photos in Photoshop Elements Organiser, which I like and find useful. But I now wish for various reasons to install the full Photoshop - CS6 and use this for editing the photos within the Organiser instead of the Elementas Editor. Is this possible please?  If so what do I need to do? Thanks. Bob

I just got a new laptop and something weird is happening when I add layers. Previously I used to just drag an image from the photo bin onto the work screen where there was an existing image and it would show on the workscreen simply sitting on top of the base image. Now, when I drag it, the layered image seems to automatically re-size to the same size as the base image. If I'm dragging a landscape format image onto a portrait format image it re-sizes to the same width as the base portrait image. I can't figure how to fix this - is there some sort of automatic 'Resize to fit' ticked somehow? Any thoughts gratefully received. Thanks. Tommy. Btw, this happens in both El

I keep getting this error on the startup of Photoshop Elements 15 I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. The event viewer general tab is showing  details tab: I do not have Web Compainon installed.  I tried getting assistance over chat but   they sent me here.  I didn't see any reference to the dll listed in the event viewer. If anyone can offer assistance to fix this error it would be greatly appreciated.

I am using Photoshop Elements 2021.2 When I try to open ARW files — raw files from a Sony Alpha 1(A1) camera — I get a dialogue box saying:  “Photoshop Elements cannot open this file.If you are attempting to open a raw file from a digital camera, make sure you have the latest Camera Raw update installed via Help > Updates… If the problem persists, visit the following link for more information:http:/www.adobe.com/go/kb407111"  Here is what I am finding:1. When I go to Help on the Photoshop Elements menu, there is no update offered.  2. When I click on the link suggested by the dialogue box, I see that the “Minimum Camera Raw plug-in version required” for the “Sony Alpha 1 (ILCE-1)” is 13.2.  3. In the menu bar of the app: Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 Editor > About Plug-In shows the Camera Raw version as 13.0.0612 — so that’s not up to date.  I downloaded the file “

I have elements.I have been trying to change time of slides. YOu use to be able to do this in earlier version.YOu could make differnt transitions if you wanted between each slike and change how long slide showed up. I cannot after many hours of playing find this. Has it been removed. Or is it still available.Thank you. 

I read in another post that Photoshop Elements now stops reading metadata after two years, causing users to upgrade to the latest version after two years. Can someone else speak to this issue? Thanks.

I just bought Phototshop Elements and I'm not able to open the layers window at all? I have no idea how to, its greyed out. Does this version allow for layers?

I had LOTS of photos on an older version of PhotoShop. I now use PS 2018. How do I retrieve these?  Are these albums now lost? 

I do nature photography and file my photos by place, then subfiles for subject, then subfiles for dates.  I had been using PSE2019 and this system worked fine.  I loaded the same files using the same system into PSE2021 (on a new computer), and all that loaded was the subfiles for dates. So, I now have a bunch of files with the same name (ex/ 10 files named 10-01-2020) Is there a way to get the photos to load with the system I had been using?  

Any idea where I can download a copy of Photoshop Elements 9.My original copy is not accessable after my laptop crashed.

I've been using PS CS6 with PSE12 and all was well. Recently I decided to update to PS21 &  LR Classic and ever since the operation of  Elements has slowed by 2/3rds. It eventually gets to where I want it to go, but the waiting is a problem that has to be solved. If I have to upgrade Elements to PSE21 to resolve this, I will but I'd like to know if it would be slow as well. I like PSE's Organizer and my workflow suits me; I don't want to have to use LR. You assistance will be much appreciated.

Hi there! I just downloaded Photoshop Elements 2021 on my Mac to find out that it does not support Arabic. I tried to find an option to select Middle Eastern languages from prefrences > type.. but it seems this option is only availabe on other Photoshop Apps but not on Elements 😞 Is there a way to solve this? Please any trick will be much appreaciated, Thanks!

Hello, Using Photoshop Elements 13.  For years, I have been using the Image > Size > Image Size to resize my images measured in Pixels.  About a week ago, the option to select Pixels has disappeared.  I tried reloading the software with not luck.  Any ideas how I can get this option back? 

Maybe this is not a PE problem per se.  When I print an image after working or restoring a photo the dark areas are shiny.  I am so far from an expert I have no idea why or how to fix it.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Using an HP printer.   Thanks.

In order to transfer my PSE catalog to a new computer, I was told by Adobe tech support to upgrade PSE on the old computer; backup the catalog in the 2021 version; restore on the new computer. Now, after installing PSE 2021 on the new computer, I'm being told that the serial number is no longer valid, perhaps because it was already installed on the old computer.  I posed this question to the Adobe tech support, and never received a reply.  So how do I activate PSE2021 on the new machine without having to purchase it again?  Do I de-install it on the old machine? Thanks

I purchased Adobe Elements 12 in 2013 at office Max and cannot get it to work.  Even have receipt.  The agent took so much of my time and cannot help me. Very federated. My first adobe purchase.  Frustrated with poor customer support and service.  Cannot rely on Adobe and their support and products are not too good.

I am running PSE 2020 on a Windows 10 PC (ver 21H1). My PC has an Intel i9-9900K CPU, 32 GB mem, 512 GB SSD C:drive, 2 TB HDD D:drive, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. My C:drive has 300 GB free and D:drive has 1.2 TB free. Windows 10 and the NVIDIA graphics card are both fully up-to-date. I was attempting to import about a dozen TIF images into my Organizer. The Organizer crashed during the import and shut down. After this crash, the Organizer crashes every time I try to reopen it. The TIF files were not that large - about 6000 px X 6000 px. There were two that were larger - about 10000 px X 10000 px. I had previously used the registry hack to increase the Organizer's MaxImageSize to 300 Megapixels (314,572,800). This registry hack was working and allowed me to have a few images that were about 11000 x 13000 px without the "broken" icon in the grid display. I can open these TIF files in the PSE Editor and I can view them with the Windows Picture Viewer w

I keep selecting a subject but it's selecting some parts that I don't need selected and when I deselect it removes everything that I selected 🤦🏻‍♀️Then, I don't know why it's not creating changing the background color after inverting. I'm doing something wrong. I also need to change backgrounds for multiple images - any advise?

I'm trying to backup my PSE 15 catalog to an external SSD so I can transfer it to my new PC, which is running PSE 2021. The problem is that PSE 15 tells me that my C: drive is too full to complete the backup. I've optimized/ deleted nearly all of my personal files from the C: drive to make room for this transfer... ....So ironically, it's the PSE 15 data itself that is filling up the lion's share of my hard drive. And I have TONS of room on my external SSD drive. Is there a way to utilize the ample space on my external SSD to complete this PSE catalog backup? Can I move the C: drive's PSE catalog data to my external SSD, and then initiate the backup? Or is there another way? After gigs and gigs of deletions, my C: drive still has only 10.7 GB remaining, and the majority of the used disk space is being used by PSE 15. Yet PSE15 is telling me that my C: drive is too full to complete the backup. It's a vicious cycle.
