Photoshop Elements

Hello, I am new to the photoshop world. I've been learning the basics since September of 2020. My #1 need for photoshop is for extractions. I focus on sports photography and create sports templates. My problem is that it is taking forever to extract my images. I recently landed a job for a local recreation baseball program. I have about 200 images to extract and doing them one by one is taking forever. I am currently using the "select" tab followed by "subject" tab. I normally get a decent outline of my image, but I still have to do quite a bit of editing with the quick selection tool. My question is...HOW do I speed this process up? How do the big companies who do school yearbook photos do this so quickly? My final pictures turn out really great, but it takes forever to edit. There's got to be a faster way. Any suggestions? I have PE2020 for Windows.  I have used the Instant Fix to edit some photos, but just noticed that when I click on Save after the editing, the original photo is REPLACED and not saved.  I don't see that there is a Save As option.  I don't want to lose my original.  Facebook will not download many of these edited photos because, I assume, the files may be too large. (Just guesssing) Lou

When I crop a picture with personal measures the same measures used to remain for cropping next picture.This feature is gone, now I have to type the measures again and again with each new picture.How can I get this function back again? 

When I do a "Save MetaData to File" operation, Photoshop Elements Organizer places a copy of the file in C://Users/[user]/AppData/Local/Temp/ and does not delete it.  Over time this begins to consume a lot of disk space, expecially when I'm working with .tif and raw files.  Fortunatele Windows does warn me when the C: drive is running low on space.  This has been happening now for many months and the first time I ran low on C: drive space it took quite a bit of time to figure out where the free space had gone.  Please fix this ASAP.

And while I was testing Gigapixel as a stand alone in case I didn't like it, Topaz linked itself to Lightroom and I assume Photoshop but now no Topaz plug-ins show (greyed out) in the PSE filter section.  How do I get it to show again?  I tried the Edit > preferences > plug-ins > additional plug-ins folder > etc. and restarted several times but no luck.   This is a pain....

I'm on macOS Mojave V 10.14.6 and Photoshop Editor 2020 v18 (latest).  I have a huge project ahead of me scanning in all the old negatives from my families lives.  I'm using an Epson V600 Perfection scanner with none of the fancy options turned on, using the Epson Scan 2 software to scan them in.  I'd like to scan the negatives at 4800 dpi, but can't even get a 3200 dpi tiff or jpeg to open in Photoshop Editor.  The 3200 dpi jpeg file size is less than 13MB, the tiff one is very large at 791MB   I have ample memory available (32GB, of which 15.5 GB is in use), but when trying to open the tiff file it says "Could not complete your request because Photoshop Elements does not recognize this type of file".  If I reduce the dpi to 2400, it then opens it.  But 2400 dpi is not really enough for negatives, especially the ones with large family portraits we might want to enlarge.  I don't want to proceed on this large (multi-week) project w

I have a .pdf template that I want to use in Elements. First, how do I bring it into Elements and, second, how do I work with it?

Hello, I'm using PSE 2020 in Windows 10. Is it possible to place an Outside Stroke to a shape without rounded or clipped outside corners? I'm attaching before and after images of my attempt to put an Outside Stroke on the shape of the letter "T". I don't want the clipped corners in the after image.  

I upgraded my mac computer.  As such I had to download my purchase of Adobe Photo Elements 2019.  After downloading it I got an error message saying the download was faulty and I need to re download.  I did as the error message suggested and I still got the error.  I re downloaded applications manager as per another post and it did not help the issue.  I am not a techy guy and need some help.  Please advise.  

I purchasedPhotoshop Elements 7 as a DVD (I have the serial number) and now have a computer without a DVD drive.  I like version 7 so how can I access the program without having to buy and external DVD drive?

After editing a raw2 file on Photshop Element 2018 and save it, I cannot read it  

Ich habe vor einer Woche PS Elements 2021 erworben. Es wurde von mir installiert und die Lizenz eingegeben. Nach dem Starten von PS Elements 2021, dem Fotoeditor  dauert es etwa 40 Sekunden bis ich mit dem Programm arbeiten kann. Vorher sind keine Funktionen oder auch das Schließen anwendbar. Kann mir jemand helfen.

Running intel i7 9th Gen on Dell Laptop PC with 16 GB RAM (15.7 free)....... and 256 GB free space using windows 10 home. Photoshop Elements launches.... then click Organizer....then 5,900 photos appear. I can edit or filter invidual photos and name photos manually.1. Face recognition stalls at 3,110 out of 5,900 photos. I tuned off GPU and analyze Videos in Preferences.  The status bar never changes or adavances. I can only manually update Names.2. Select photos for slideshow maybe 15 or so..... software window says loading with a blue circle going round... and then Window from Microsoft opens stating program is not responding and offers wait for program to respond or Close Program This happens everytime since I purchased the software about 5 days ago.   

I have a new Photoshop Elements 2021 installation on an M1 MacBook Air. When in Organiser the scrolling is painfully laggy in Grid View. Clicking any of the buttons is also laggy and delayed. Is this a known problem with M1 silicon Macs?

The final cropping in the "Print" function is lost when there are multiple photos to be printed, and each one is adjusted.  I just sized and cropped seven, went back and each time I did a final review before printing these adjustments were lost.ADOBE PLEASE FIX!!! THIS IS A MAJOR FAULT!

Drag and drop a photo layer into a new layer causes the Editor to crash everytime on M1 Mac in Elements 2021. This is the latest updated version.When would it be reasonable to expect an M1 compatible version of this software?

Hello,I have created some customized DNG Profiles with the DNG Profile Editor and saved them in the following directory:C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfilesBut they are not shown in Camera RAW. Is this the right directory? How can I import the DNG Profiles in Camera RAW. My system: Photoshop Elements 2021 with Camera RAW 12.4. That you in advanceKind regards Andreas  

I have bought PSE 2021 for mac and I redeemed my code to get the serial number. So far so good. I am trying to install PSE 2021 on my two Macs- a MacMini 2018 (Intel), BigSur 11.2.3- a MacBook Air Late 2020 (M1), BigSur 11.2.3On the MacMini the install went through and when I open PSE, I get the first screen, where I can chose Photo Editor. When I click Photo Editor, I get the "Loading Photoshop Editor" Message and a spinning star, but the editor never opens.I have reinstalled once and get the same issue.On the M1 MacBook the installer is stuck at 82% since several hours and does not progress any more.I would appreciate some pointers where I might be going wrong here. Hallo,I was using the latest paid version of NC and was working fine on IMAC. Some months ago it kept bombing out, I would finish the edit ok but then the Editor would just QUIT.I am now using Big Sur 11.2.2 ThanksRoger WUK

When I choose the size of puzzle piece, an alert pops up that the command "copy" is not currently available. Any suggestions as to how to solve yjos. I am using Mac OS 10.14.Thank you!

I purchased Elements 2019 and downloaded it from the web, so I don't have disks. Is there anyway to move it to the new computer I just purchased? 

I recently upgraded from PE 13 (Camera raw 9) to PE2021 and thus also upgraded to Camera Raw 13. So far so good. However in Camera Raw 9, I could set up my own standard settings, for example I don't want any sharpening, no colour correction, a saturation of +2, etc. In Camera Raw 13 it seems I cannot do this. It always give me sharpening of  40 and set saturation to 0, etc whatever I try.When I open a raw file, I have a sharpening of 40, etc and not my desired settings. I need to change the settings for every raw file I open. First attached picture shows what I want to have as standard in CameraRaw 13 when I open a raw file.  Second picture shows how I did that in CameraRaw 9 (both unfortunaltely in Dutch but I hope you see the issue)

Guten Morgen,PSE 2021 - Ich arbeitete im Expertenbereich und wollte zum Assistent wechseln, das klappt nicht.Gestern hab ich erst die vorige Version PSE 2020 deinstalliert. Ist das der Grund, dass ich Probleme mit PSE 2021 habe?Da ich alle nötigen Angaben noch besitze, kann ich ohne Risiko PSE 2021 deinstallieren und neu aufbauen – vielleicht hilft das?Danke für Ihre Hilfe - MfG - reundliche Grüsse aus Luxemburg – Erny Friob
