Hallo zusammen, ich suche einen menschlichen deutschsprachigen Ansprechpartner, dem ich meine Probleme und die einzelnen Fehlermeldungen mitteilen kann.Auf die KI im chat kann ich gerne verzichten, der muss noch viel, viel lernen.Auch der Chat mit einem irgendwo auf dem Erdball sitzenden, halbwegs deutsch schreibenden Mitarbeiter schlug fehl, weil das Problem nicht richtig erkannt wurde.Es muss doch bei einem solch bedeutenden Unternehmen möglich sein, einen deutschsprachigen email-support zu erhalten - bei dem ich konkrete Fehler, auch als Bildschirmkopie, besprechen kann.

How do I draw or place a colored border around a single image on a custom canvas with a white background that also contains other images?  How do I control the stroke and color of this frame?I prefer a frame with a stroke on the outside and blank on the inside that can overlay if possible on the image slightly to a colored layer under the image if this is possible in Elements?New to Elements and new to creating a custom canvas for a photo notecard in Elements.Working on Mojave iMac.Would appreciate step by step instruction for this. Still getting used to the tools and menus available and how to wrangle them under my control.Thank you.

I have an old version (ver 15) of Photoshop Elements.  It works for me and has a lot of custom plugins and other stuff (e.g. fonts, actions, etc) installed, so I would rather not upgrade to a new version.  Microsoft is requiring Windows 10 systems be upgraded to Windows 11 later this year (Oct 2025).  I'm worried there might be some problem with PSE after the Windows upgrade.   Do you think the Windows upgrade will affect PSE 15?  Thanks.

I would like to clear the cache in PSE 2022. I have read on the forums that I can navigate through File Explorer to the cache and manually clear it or go through Preferences in Elements. I have a screenshot of what I'm seeing in Elements and wondering which cache to clear? Do I clear everything under Common or one of the specific folders under that (Media Cache, Media Cache Files, or Peak Files)? Likewise, what will I loose in terms of function by clearing the cache. Thanks! My goal in clearing my cache is to be able to upload HEIC files I'm having issues with and to clean up any unnecessary junk. 

I used to be able to create a panorama easily in PSE 11. Can I do it in PSE 2022? If so, how? PSE Help told me to go to File>Automate>Photomerge, but Automate does not exist as a choice under File in my PSE 2022. There is a grayed-out choice for "Automation Tools," but that is unavailable to me. As a work-around, I've been taking my picture files on a USB drive to an older (and crankier) computer that still has PSE 11 installed, but it's painfully slow. This is SO frustrating! What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help. 

I have installed my disc version of Elements 12 on a new PC but when I try to access via the installed desktop shortcut and click on Photo Editor within the software it sends me to the Adobe sign in page with QR code and weblink... I use the link and sign into my Adobe account but nothing happens thereafter and I am unable to access PS Elements... any help would be much appreciated 

I just sent a Report to Adobe about a particular PS Elements 2021 problem that popped up immediately after a very recent iMAC update from Sonoma 14.6.1 to Sequois 16.3.2. The Elements app seems to have been completely wiped from the Applications folder in my iMAC. I mentioned that I was able to re-install/re-activate the Elements 2021's Editor module via the original installation disc. The Editor is working quite OK now.  But I was not able to re-install the Organizer and Video Editor modules. Error messages from attempts at both stated that, if PS Elements 2021 doesn't run after the Sequoia update, I should bring the problem to the attention of the Elements developer(s). Unfortunately, the message gave no contact info for whatever developer(s) it was talking about. It's confusing that the AI response I got back from my Report was that there's nothing they can do to fix the Editor problem. I don't know how they could have misinterpreted my Report that the Editor is working OK

I recently purchased the Adobe Photoshop Express (APE) 2024 version. I noticed that whenever I edited my photos using the APE 2024, the Auto Smart Fix tool under the Enhance Menu wasn’t working.  What this means is that it doesn’t do anything when you use this tool.  I also found out that when I tried to save the photo as a JPG file, you cannot choose the Preview option so you can see the resulting file size when you select any particular Picture Quality level. My only recourse is to choose a particular Picture Quality level and go to the particular directory to see what the resulting saved file size would be.  It would  be too cumbersome to do this because I am used to my Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 version where it automatically shows what the resulting file size would be if you choose a particular Picture Quality level. I reported this software bug on the APE 2024 version to the Adobe Technical Support.  I reported that the Auto Smart Fix tool wasn’t

Hi EveryoneI've just had to have a new motherboard (which includes the solid state SSD in my Dell PC.  I backed up all the files and selected replace in original locations when I restored them.  I've just downloaded my Elements 24 and have tried to reinstate the catalogue.  Actions were......FileRestore CatalogueHard disc (with bacup on plugged into a usb)Locate backup File...........  G:\PE backup 2 7 24 \Backup.tlyRestore to......... ticked "restore original folder structure"and there it stops. Nothing happens, the Restore icon remains greyed out and the only option available is cancel.  Can anyone help please?Thank you

i recently installed photoshop elements 2025 upgrade from 2021. installed ok, but when i opened it, there is no layer panel and all the menus are greyed out.. what is going on?  using windows 11 

As I have some troubles with my Photoshop Elements 2021 after I updated to a new MacBook Air M1 and running Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2, i wonder if the problems is that it simply not can run on that operation system?Any one knows? 

I'm using PSE 15.  I just purchased a new Canon EOS 90D.  Apparently this camera uses Adobe Camera RAW 3 files, and PSE 15 won't recognize or import these files.  Is upgrading to PSE 2025 the answer?  Thanks

In a fb page about photoshop elements a user posted the image below.  What's interesting is that I completed a simliar survey, which was obviously from Adobe.A big clue that this is a scam is the part about "created by yahoo mail"-  I highly doubt Adobe would use that. SO WADDA THINK, A SCAM?   . 

The icon and menu text (2mm) is so small I can't see them. I use Photoshop elements 2022 on a 14" PC with a resolution 2240 x 1400, Windows 11.I tried to enlarge them Edit/Preferences/Display & Cursors, UI Scale factor to 200% but then they are too big and I can't see all the icons. It is impossible to scroll down to see them.  My earlier version of photoshop was ok on a 13.3” PC. Now it is impossible to use photoshop. Is there a way to set them to ex. 150% (like in older versions) or another way to do this? I can see on the photoshop community that there is many users that have the same problem.

Havent opened premier elements, photoshop and organizer for at least a year. 2022 version 20.0I wanted to make a present for my daughters birthday by importing over 100 pictures of her into video timeline and doing stuff with it. Using people tab in organizer I was able to bring up all the photos I wanted. However I coldnt figure out how to add them to a timeline. When using timeline and clicking add medai and then clicking organizer it shows a condensed version where the tabs are missing i.e. people tab. Looking at manual online is pretty much hopeless, using AI had suggestions but it didnt work, A remote assistance from Adobe support said it couldnt be done (for real) which I absolutely dont beilieve and Im guessing its an easy fix. As I kept on experimenting I not only couldnt figure it out but 2 new problems developed where organizer keeps freezing and the pictures that I wanted to create something with completely disappeared from organizer under the people tab??? I have 3 question

Is there a way to make "Save for Web" NOT replace spaces in the filename iwht dashes?  That is infuriating as the save for web interface is much easier to work with than doing a Save As for other filetypes, but I hate having to rename everything it creates wrong because it doesnt like a space or character and rplaces it with a dash. Im on version Photoshop Elements 2020, but I suspect solutions for any recent version is probably similar.Thanks!

When I try to save the file as a web file, the preview is not ligned up on the view screen.  You can't see the entire file.  It hasn't happened before and I cannot find anything on the help menu.  Has this happened to anyone?Using PSE 2025

Unlike the earlier versions of PSE that I have been using (11 and 14), I find that when I increase canvas size with  Image | Resize, PSE 2025 generates a new layer which I then have to flatten if I only want one layer (to save as JPEG, say).  It's running on Windows 11.I would like to prevent that auto-creation of a layer; is there a setting for this?

In Elements 2020 the Depth of Field Simple tool in Guided mode does not seem to work as advertised.  Click Simple, Click Add Blur.  Ok.  Now the problem.  When I Add Focus Area and click and drag, the result is the opposite of what I would expect.  The blurry area is where my point and click began, in the middle of my subject.  I have watched tutorials and seen how you can repeatedly click and drag away From the middle of a subject you wish to keep in focus.  Don't know what I could possibly be doing wrong but this does just not work for me.  Any ideas?  Thank you.
