Photoshop Elements

I am wondering if my 4th gen i7 macbook pro (mid) 2014 will work in any way with PSE 2021, as it say it needs 6th gen, will it still work maybe slower or is that not going to work in any way

i am having adobe elements2020 and i am not able to see the elive button..i am using windows10

Hi the replace background in PSE 2018 has just stopped working, any help would be appreciated.OS is Windows 10 64bit  8Gig Ram i7 processor, all the latetest Win updates installed plenty of space on SSD.Regards Normski.

Hello,I had Photoshop Elements 15 on my previous MacBook and I want to instal it on a new Mac Book Pro 16' ; i payed 70 euros but the icon "Instal" has a cross on it and, after clicking on it, it says : "contact the developper ; you need to update to instal on this mac". Does some one nows how to do ? Thx a lot in advance ! (i'm french so my translation is not good, very sorry)

I have been running PSE 2018 and would like to upgrade to PSE 2021. My computer meets all of the required specs save the CPU. I have an Intel Core i5-6600K CPU. Will this not work at all with PSE 2021? Or is it just the speed that will be affected? BTW, my hard drive has plenty of room for the install and I have 16gb of ram. I recently made the mistake of purchasing a new HP laptop to replace my old dead Macbook. Big mistake, I hate it and will be returning it. I've already purchased a new Macbook Air. I had downloaded Elements 2020 from the Microsoft app store on the HP. Now that I'm returning it am I just out the money? Or is there a way to move/use this app somehow to my new Macbook? I thought I could do this with the serial number, but on the Microsoft app I cannot even find a serial number. Is there one with a download (as opposed to the old way of loading it from a cd)?

About a month ago I downloaded the Trial version of Elements 2020, ran fine on Windows 7 64 bit, then purchased at conclusion of trial period.  However, Elements 2021 downloader was delivered.  When trying to download and install Elements 2021 found that it is a Windows 10 application. Consequently, the software will not work on my Windows 7 computer.  So how to I get Elements 2020 or a refund??  

Since I purchased a Windows 10 laptop and downloaded my Adobe Photoshop 11 & Premier Elements 11 to it, both softwares load but then abort back to the desktop after approximately 30 secons use. What do I need to do to get round this problem?

I have inadvertently messed up my Elements 2018 software.To elimate something unwanted in a photo, I have always been able to use the lasso to encircle it, then I hit edit/ fill selection/ OK and it would disappear, replaced by the surrounding color/ image.Now when I hit fill select the area within the lasso is white instead of matching the surrounding color. Obviously I have unwittingly changed some setting.Can you help me get back to the original capability? I use it often, so I am upset by my mistake.Thanks very much.

It appears that the polygonal lasso tool will only work properly if I turn off Display Magnification in my windows display settings. I have a 4K monitor so I find it necessary to have magnification set at 200%.I have been having so many issues with the lasso not initiating a selection where I want it to and ending a selection where it pleases.  It has been so temperamental.  This is a consistent problem that I have been having.  I have had different issues with some other programs I run and have found that they only work properly if magnification is turned off.  I thought I would give it a try using Photoshop Elements and low and behold it solved the issue completely.  The problem is that my computer is not very usable without this magnification feature turned on.The one workaround that I have found for this is to turn off magnification and then start elements.  Once Elements is started, I can turn on magnification and it will work until I have to restart

How do I dodge and burn and reduce color noise within a selection I have made?

I have downloaded Elements 2021 from the Microsift Store but on looking in the System info it says:Elements Organiser 19.0.0.0is this correct? 

Upgraded from version 14 to Photoshop and Premier Elements 2021.  Have 36,000 photos and movies in catalog going back to 2003.  Products installed amd activated without errors, updated catalog no errors.Organizer shows thumbnails correctly.  PROBLEM: Headers "file, ...view... create... share"  are visible but the box around each of them has no bottom stroke.  Cannot click on any of them.FIX:  My screen resolution is 1280X1024.  With WINDOWS screen size set for "full" (the "-", "[[]]", and the [] boxes on top of the windows screen.   The top of the adobe organizer window is partially cut off.  SOLUTION: set the window for "[[]]" and resize it to move the top down a tiny bit. Now the boxes areound "file..." are complete and you can click on them.  As a side note, "Create" and "Share" will now also work.Bob L

I'm a very new beginner when it comes to photoshop. While a lot has been tons of trial and error, I still cannot figure out how to intersect and subtract. I have a picture of a computer that I want to be able to slice or cut out of a background image I created on capture. Im having trouble figuring it out.. can anyone help?

I am digitising a number of glass negatives from the early 1900s.  Several of them have light leakage, like the one attached.  What's the best way to correct this and retrieve what there is on the bleached out part of the negative? 

I am digitising a number of B&W glass negatives dating from 1912.  Several of them have light leakage resulting in a bleached streak to the edge of the plate, and (as with this one) some gradation of exposure over the lower part.  I have Photoshop Elements 2020, and I am using Silverfast 8 with an Epson V800 scanner.  How best can I treat these areas to make them blend in better with the rest of the photograph? 

Does elements organize your photos? Mine are currently in google photos but I'm thinking of switching. 

I have multiple questions of which "live" help is incapable of reading. 1.  Would I be able to receive support for PSE 11 rather than 2021 which I'm no liking how its presented? 2.  How does one change "notifications" via mobile versus email?  I've tried to change it and am unable to do so. 3.  What exactly do plans mean?  One cannot receive support without paying monthly or what hav you?  I have not been able to locate any documentation on this subject. If I purchase Adobe Elements can I put it on both my phone and laptop?

Looking at reducing my CC sub and just getting Photoshop Elements instead. I know I can install it on 2 machines (currently can with CC) but on Amazon they have both Mac and Windows -specific download codes. So if I buy the Mac code can I only install that on 2 Macs or is it just a weird way that Amazon are doing it? If I buy from Adobe (about 40% more expensive) then can the 2 machines be different operating systems?

Hi, I am trying Photoshop Elements 2021 (trial version) on Windows 10 system. When I use the Crop tool in Camera Raw 12.3 of this software, the frame lines doesn't move when I grab any handle of the cropping frame. If I click on another tool after moving any handle of the cropping tool, then I can see that the the cropping line have moved. Is anyone know how to fix that weird behavior? Thank you!

I cant get the clooning Tool to function. Ive got Photoshop Elements 11 since many years. Now I get a message when I ALT-click saying something about an Adjustment layer ( swedish - Justeringslager). I dont know what an Adjustment layer is? Can I change the layer in some way? Please, I would be tremendously thankful if I could use the Clooning Tool again. Its such a marvelous Tool. I have a large number of scanned physical photos and negatives as well as digital photos in PSE2020. These show in the grid in date order. The photos are fine because they include "Date Taken", but the scanned photos are not where I want them. I would like to organise the scanned photos by the estimated date that the original photo was taken. I have all of the photos and scanned photos in folders named "YYYY-MM-DD subject", where for the scans YYYY-MM-DD is the estimated date for those scans.  I would be happy for all of the scans to have that date, so that they appear in estimated chronological order in PSE2020.  I have thousands of scans, so I ideally I would like to be able to use some bulk renaming facility, ideally based on the folder name, if that is possible.  I am also not clear on which date field I need to edit for the scans so that they will appear correctly in PSE Organizer.  Photos use "Date Taken" I believe, but there are many other date fields, which
