 In premiere pro, when I am trying to edit my captions, I double click on the Caption Tab in the Text Panel, and it only lets me edit one charcter (letter or space) of the caption before I have to double click the caption again. See the screen recording I took below to know what I am talking about.

Premiere Pro Beta Bug 24.1.0 BETA Build 25Open for Voting

I'm opening a previously built video file and swapping graphic content of the same size and format (PNG). I've confirmed the graphic being imported is a PNG, no Alpha, same size (everything is a match, except the image). The image being swapped is coming in with a video icon but it's a .PNG. In the timeline it's showing absolutely nothing but if I double click the graphic in the timeline, the source window is showing the image correctly. I've opened the new image and resaved it as a PNG no Alpha but the same thing is happening.Images and system info attached.

Punctuation marks showing as butterfly

I've created captions from transcripts. In the captions panel everything looks good, but in the project many punctuation marks show up as a butterfly symbol instead of the correct mark. Any insight?

If "Enhance Speech" is meant to compete with FCP's Voice Isolation it has a LONG WAY TO GO

Results for the "Enhance Speech" work fairly well at removing reverb and background noise, however at the moment it is not very useful in that anything longer than 10 mins of audio takes not only an EXTREME amount of processing (which you have to wait for) but even once it's done it still seems to require ANOTHER layer of preview rendering.So for example an hour long recording takes approx 90 mins - 2 hours to process once the "Enhance" button is clicked. Even after that's completed, once you hit spacebar on your timeline it then goes to an additional rendering bar (the usual one that's been around with PP for creating prerendered clips).Compare this with FCP's Voice Isolation which is instantly added and requires no in-program processing time, and additionally the results sound a bit better still with FCP.If you really need a voice improvement tool right now, go with FCP or ClarityRX or Izotope because once again Adobe is well behind the curve with their focus still being on moving th

Bug with PSD Clips getting some render issues for Effects

Essential Sound Enhance Speech featureOpen for Voting

I applied the Enhance Speech effect to a clip within a nested clip within a multicam clip. The effect did not carry over to the sequence created from that multicam clip. I was able to get it to work when applying the effect to the nested clip itself (within the multicam clip).

Essential sound enhance speech

The new ai features are brilliant at clearing up badly recorded sound. And they are a cut above the previous ai solution that I was using online. I appreciate that it is early days but my only issue so far has been that it changed a word from "occupancy" to "occupatchy" and there seems no way to get it to re-guess the word correctly. The ideal would be that I could tell it what a word actually is.

Beta version - Audio errors and 2023 Version is a color nightmareOpen for Voting

I've been having trouble with a variety of audio errors in the beta app over the last few months. Everything from "audio not found" in a file to I/O disk overloaded, even sometimes saying audio not found in a sequence that has no audio on it. About 60-70% of the time I can't play a sequence without some sort of audio track dropping out. Exremely frustrating! I would just switch back to the latest version of Premiere, the problem is that the color management settings are getting all messed up and I get 2 totally different looking videos and in the regular version of premiere, the colors are all washed out and looks bland and garbage. I've played with all the different color options (auto map tone media, etc) but nothing works.Also- if I open up a copy of the project in 2023 (the colors get washed out) and then if I re-open that same project in Beta- the washed out colors stay (thankfully I've saved copies of the projects that havent been corrupted by 2023) Does anyone have any

Enhanced Speech Report

Just had the opportunity to try out Enhanced Speech Footage was of a lecture. The facility's wireless mic had crapped out, but fortunately I had a shotgun pointing at the front of the room and captured the unamplified audio of the speaker. The speaker had a bit of a New York accent and talked very fast.  Room was somewhat reverberant. When the AI was done processing the enhanced speech, I was astounded that it sounded like he was talking into the stage mic!  Just amazing.  Then I listened more closely and realized he wasn't making any sense.  Words were jumbled together and it sounded like a foreign language. Other sounds, like a woman coughing, were interpreted as vowels in a woman's voice and it pops in occasionally. So I'll have to massage this quite a bit before it's usable.  It's a noble try.  Attached is a before/after for a short segment. Motion Graphics Template Import Error - 24.1.0 BETA (Build 25) + Slow Timeline ScrubbingOpen for Voting

I updated Premiere Pro Beta earlier today, and it broke all my motion graphics.  They show up as if the file is missing. Meanwhile, I can find them in the Essential Graphics Browse list, but when I attempt to add one onto my timeline, I get the below error.  This worked perfectly fine last night.  I have deleted all of the motion graphics out of the C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Motion Graphics Templates directory and re-added them without any success. Any recommendations?  I've also noticed that my timeline is CRAZY slow.  I have a Ryzen 7950X with a 4070 Ti, and I can hardly scrub the timeline.  I have to wait 10-15 seconds, and then I can move it again.  Today's update borked things.

I have a project which I use as a template. I have saved a copy of this template in the latest beta version. Whan I select the template in the new project screen, it doesn't retain the formatting I have applied in the original template. for example, I have placed an image as a watermark, position, size and opacity are resetted.See screenshot below for reference.

Text Panel Enhancements: Pauses, Navigation and Selection

Available now in Premiere Pro Beta: Use keyboard shortcuts to navigate transcripts in the Text panel so you can find pauses and navigate your sequence using keyboard shortcuts. This means that when you transcribe your sequence at the beginning of a project, you can now scan the transcript to find moments of interest, bad takes, good quotes, and long pauses.   Navigation: Navigate through the Text panel using familiar text editing keyboard shortcuts. The playhead will follow your cursor navigation so you can easily jump to the selected moment in the transcript. Selections: Use text selections to set in/out points in your sequence. Enable and disable the in/out point button in the Transcript tab to activate this functionality. Detect pauses: Show or hide pauses in a transcript and navigate between pauses. Beta Transcription Not Transcribing 30% of Video, Captions Won't Toggle On In Export SettingsOpen for Voting

I've been using beta for quite a while. With the most recent update, when I went to transcribe a video that contained VO that was recorded directly in Premiere Pro, it did not transcribe 30% of the VO dialogue. Also the audio levels still seem low when increasing the audio levels in the Essential Sound dialogue settings.  After completing my edit, I went to export, and the captions will not toggle on. I've tried my preset, custom, and general premiere pro settings and it won't toggle on under any of these circumstances.  This is for social and I have a specific style that has consistently used the captions I customized in Premiere Po. In past beta updates, the transcription and captions have never been this challenging.  Thank you!

The delete button on the keyboard does not function, only backspace, when you attempt to change the file name while browsing for the file destination.

Laptop too slow?

When using enhance speech the alst ~20% of the audio track the level just drops out. It looks so far to be one chanel but it renders an otherwise useful tool useless. Adjusting the mix amound either degrades the track sound (lovering) or makes the audio frop even worse (raising).

Unable to access Premiere Beta 24.1 in Creative Cloud

Hi There, I'm trying to play with the new AI Enhance audio that seems to be in Premiere Beta 24.1 but the Creative Cloud app will only download Beta 24.0.0 (Build 45). I've tried uninstalling the Creative Cloud app and reinstalling as suggested in the forums but have the same results. Any advice? Thanks!

Dynamic Link not working?Open for Voting

It seems dynamic link isn't working for me. It was yesterday, then now today it isn't. When I attempt to relink, the dynamic link progress bar just keeps going. I also installed the After Effects Beta but that didn't help. I ran in administrator mode, tried importing the files within the adobe dynamic link directly. Not sure what to do at this point.
