When you do zoom in or zoom out on the timeline using a touchscreen premiere pro sometimes (and by sometimes I mean 1/2 chances) holds the virual Ctrl (like if you've hold on it by hand on the keyboard) so if you try to press any other key the premiere would operate as if you've been holding Ctrl + the key. So the work around is after you do the zoom in zoom out with your touch you have to press the real Left Ctrl (particularly the Left one) to unhold it...the touch screen is on my Asus ROG Duo laptop (GX550LXS).
Build 29Feb 17Unable to export an SRT file from Captions window menu. I was able to export a text file.It would open a file explorer window but no file was created.
Hello!Transcript can't generate subs after 3' 14" (look attached pic)cheers
When Pr Icon is clicked in M1 Macbook Dock, it just bounces continuously without opening until forced to quit. This can happen multiple times in a row before finally opening. Thanks
New feature works fine for me , missing the ability to export SRT from Premiere. I noticed that by default Premiere select Minion font for caption track , but this can be changed by importing previously saved text styles into the project and then by selecting this style when creating a captions for the timeline. Would it be possible to store those .prtexstyle files e.g. in library folder, or is there any other font change opitons in a future ?
I'm running Premiere Pro V 15.0.0 BETA (Build 25[R]) on the new M1 2020 Mac Mini running macOS Big Sur V 11.2.1.Several native audio effects have been applied to the dialogue audio to clean it up and EQ, specifically Dynamics and Parametric Equalizer (screenshots attached). When viewing the video in Premiere, it sounds perfect. After exporting using the built-in "YouTube 1080" preset, which I've used for years, the audio is awful. It sounds muffled like the person is underwater or in the next room.I can't figure out where the disconnect is or why the audio would be exact inside the project but can't export.
Having trouble re oping the transcript box. Once it is closed out, I can't re open it to re transcribe the sequence.
Weird.14.9 build 38[R] with captions. I have a sequence that I manually captionned. I needed an intro and outro, so I nested it by going to the projects panel, dragging the sequence to build a new one. Then I worked on that, adding visual and graphics on top of that.Layers were : Ess Graphics Obj + Images, nested sequence and audio as one sequence. Quit Premiere Pro, reopened the project and…My "new sequence" was a mess :APPEARING Captions, Ess Graphics Obj + Images,DISAPPEARED video sequence, ONLY audio sequence I ruled out the naming issue by renaming the sequence (the copy had the same name in my first issue). Am I the only one concerned ? 2min Video of the issue linked
...was approved for the beta test group for the new Premiere w/ CC, must have deleted the email accidentally....if there an action required?
I have update Premiere Pro (Beta) in version (15.0) and Speech to Text Early Access is still not Working
Hi Adobe Team, The auto transcription in the Premiere Pro BETA isn't finishing the auto transcription process and stay blocked at "transcribing sequence". Have a nice day,
Hello, The new captions beta is brilliant, however it is not supporting Right to Left, even when importing or adding Arabic text...The text shows correctly while writing in the Captions Panel, and in the Subtitle's Track on the Timeline, However on the Program Monitor (the video itself) it's Left to Right and Disconnected, no matter what font I use, Please help on this, Thank you!
When adding an additional caption, the text format, size, type, effects does not stay the same as the captions on either side of it. Requiring additional time to reset - it would be easier if the text was defaulted to what was either side of it
In the latest beta build we have enabled the support of files from ARRI Alexa Mini LF camera. The support enables - ALEXA Mini LF MXF/ARRIRAW, ALEXA Mini LF MXF/Apple ProRes files. Please try these files in the latest Premiere Pro beta build and share your feedback.

Hello, I recently switched from an HP Spectre to a Macbook Pro M1 Chip and am experiencing the typical issues with Premiere Pro Beta. I understand that there are people working very hard on this problem to fix it. Because it has not been working well, I have been using a friends Macbook Pro (intel processor) to edit my videos for my business and have consistantly been checking on the updates for the M1 Chip laptop. I am posting to see whether or not it is a good idea to return the M1 Chip and buy another older Macbook with an Intel processecor that works consistantly OR continue to wait for updates to the Beta version. Is there an estimate to when Premiere Pro or Premiere Pro Beta will be completely up and running error free? Any insight for my situation would be greatly appreciated.
Error message with no explication for export srt subtitle
I am trying to export my subtitles to a srt file. But today it doesn't seem to work because, as you can see from the attached screenshot, the word "caption" doesn't appear in the window. In recent days, however, it appeared and I could export even if, to be honest, I had to try at least a couple of times because it only appeared after pressing "media". It's a strange thing, don't you think? System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v15.0.0.27 OS: macOS v10.16.0, RAM: 16.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 8
I first thought that Pr (Beta) no longer wanted to start-up but after approx. 5 minutes the program finally opened. Film and sound runs terribly slowly and stutter. At this moment unworkable.MacbAir OS 11.2
Just tried out the new speech to text feature 🙂 works out amazing with one exception…Tried to replace some texts, (originally in English) to Hebrew. I Changed the graphic propertied before hand (before transcripting) to middle eastern text, and yet every time I try to change a caption and write the text in Hebrew the text comes out reverse and the properties rollback to European (left to right)
Steps to reproduce: I have tried to export captions in two different ways: When rendering the video, I clicked the box to create a sidecar file. I also tried to export an .srt file from the captions window. Neither option worked. Result: ...no .srt file createdExpected: ...creation of an .srt file System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v15.0.0.27 OS: macOS v10.16.0, RAM: 32.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 16
There is no proxy setting information in the project panel. In previous versions, the proxy settings (resolution, frame rate, etc.) were displayed in the panel next to the small preview window. In 14.9 and Beta 15.0 there is no information anymore.
Trying the latest Speech-to-Text feature in Premiere Pro beta version. I have a 10 minute video in English for a test. When I select button Transcript, a pop-up appears with the sequence info. When the process is started, it never finishes. Ultimately, I have to Force-Quit to leave the program. Adobe, please let us know when this feature is ready to test. We are just wasting out time now.
I love the new Captions feature with Autotranscribe. I've been using Sonix.ai for a while and having that inside of Premiere is massively time-saving. The problem I'm having is exporting the SRT. It seems to only export 'some' of the time. Most of the time, nothing is exported at all. No file whatsoever. Sometimes, one will appear, but it's 1 out of 10 at best.
Hi! I used this feature last week and I was amazed by it! Today I tried again today, in the Text panel I saw the rendering audio message, but nothing happens and Premiere collapses.
