Premiere (Beta)

IssueTranscript panel stops following the timeline playhead and breaks after text-based ripple editing, even when “Follow active monitor” is enabled.Steps to reproduce1. Open a project with an existing sequence transcript2. Open Text → Transcript3. Enable Follow active monitor4. Click words in the transcript and confirm the playhead follows correctly5. Use the Transcript search field (enter any search term)6. Open Transcript View Options and toggle options such as Speakers, Pauses, or Low-confidence words7. Exit search and attempt to edit by selecting words in the transcript (ripple delete)Expected resultThe transcript should stay aligned with the timeline playhead, and selecting words should reliably move the playhead and allow text-based ripple editing. It should not go to 0:00 on the transcript after each edit.Actual resultThe transcript no longer stays aligned with the playhead. Selecting or highlighting words does not reliably move the playhead, and the transcript goes back to 0:0

1. 26.1.1 Build 262. Windows 113. Minimize and Maximize function error. Main project window can not be minimized and restored properly. After trying to minimize, which takes about 7 clicks for anything to actually happen, the window becomes a tiny scroll bar, then disappears if I click the minus sign. I can not resize, maximize, or bring the window back. I have to kill the program and reboot.4. Expected Result Vs Actual - Self-evident.

New version available banner keeps popping up while the latest version already has been installed.

Steps to reproduce:    1. While trying to remove 3 lumteri copies from a clip (or multiple clips at once) nothing happens Result: After deselecting the effects I want to keep, and leaving only lumteri copies to be removed the menu appears again after clicking ok the first time, in spite of click twice for the effect to be removed the lumetri copies remain in the clip.Expected: The lumetri copies should dissapear from the clip effects  System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v26.1.1.26    OS: macOS v15.7.1, RAM: 64.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 12

-I’m working on a nearly completed feature-length film that has been affected by the ongoing Premiere Pro Beta timeline and editing issues. This regression has been present since mid-December, and has prevented reliable editing on an active feature-length project for several weeks.I’ve been following the beta builds closely. An earlier beta build, which introduced a revised menu structure, allowed full timeline editing to function normally for me. After a subsequent build reverted the menus back to the previous style, the core timeline editing issues appeared and have persisted for my project, including in the current release. At this point I’m using workarounds (copying subsequences into new projects) to keep moving, but this is slow and fragile for a project at this stage.I understand that older beta builds are not normally distributed, but I wanted to ask whether temporary access to the last functional beta build might be possible purely to complete active work, while the current regr

Hello everyone, Premiere Pro has a serious problem when it comes to moving large amounts of clips around (normal clips, adjustment layers with effects, stacked on top of each other and so on): [check the attachment] To reproduce this: Just place a few clips next to each other, add transitions, effects, add mutliple adjustment layers above them, paste this creation a bunch of times until you reached 15-30 minutes. I hope this issue gets prioritized as the current state does not allow to edit large videos without losing a lot of time on nothing. This problem in my exaggerated sequence example will also happen in real large complex sequences. The only solution I found is to nest the sequence into multiple parts to reduce the load of clips. The same issue appears when you have a sequence like that and want to select everything using CTRL+A. It takes roughly 3-5 seconds until it all is selected. But when you use the "Track Select Forward/Backward" tool, it is nearly

Steps to reproduce:1. Put two clips on the timeline2. Ctl+D for default transition Result: Cross Dissolve (Legacy) appearsExpected: Just plain Cross Dissolve.  Why the Legacy all of a sudden?  If you've updated Cross Dissolve  wouldn't you also be changing the default to the new effect?  And BTW, where did the setting go to change the default?  I can't find it. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v26.1.1.24    OS: Windows v10.0.26200, RAM: 63.79 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16

Premiere does not remember the time set as default for future sequence. I have i set to 00.00.00 but when selecting a subsequence the default time is set to the time made from the original sequence. W11 2025 and 2026

Each time i try to export my project, My app closes authomatically. I have tried to export my project but as soon as i hit the export botten, it closes. I haven't been able to update the app because of my system requirements, Exporting projects was never an issue until i was asked to update app. Please help.

Am I imagining it, or could I - in ye olden dayes - hit B to select the Ripple Edit tool, go to the end or start of a clip, see the cursor change to the ripple edit cursor, and then just grab-and-drag the clip in (or out) point? In PPro Beta, I have to select the clip, THEN hit B, and only then can I start rippling. Is this a new, bad, buggy, behaviour? In every version of Premiere (Beta) version 26.x, I have experienced a major dip in performance, so much so that the app is frequently crashing. If I want to click a different part of my timeline, I often have to wait for 2-5 minutes before it is able to unfreeze and show me the part of the video I clicked over to. It keeps giving me the error message, "Error retrieving frame XX.XX.XX" and replaces it with another frame from way later in the video, or just makes it a blank slide. Looking online, it seems that turning GPU acceleration off can help with this, but I can no longer do that because of this update. And now, I cannot even export. Even a small portion of the video, trying to export it begins encoding, and stays on 0% forever, makes no progress ever. This is unusable at this point and it is very frustrating. Please help me. I have tried three to four different versions of the Premiere Beta, and nothing is working. Please, can I at least download a version of 25.0 so I can export

Playback selection in Transcript window breaks after applying an Audio Channel Preset in the clip > modify Premiere Pro Beta V. 26.1.1 (Build 14) Selections and playback within the Transcipt window works fine until applying an audio channel preset in the clip > modify window. Example:clip >modify>audio channel setting default preset (transcript playback works fine)clip >modify>audio channel setting 'Sony FX6' preset (transcript playback breaks) Use case:I record with Sony FX6, boom mic audio is on channel 3.  I transcribe the source clip using channel 3.  When scrubbing/reviewing the clip I only want to hear Channel 3 audio (good audio track). Side note:  I'd also love it to only import Channel 3 audio into timeline when inserting clips into the timeline (from transcript window or source window).  Not sure if that exists already.  Currently, I have 8 channels of audio into the timeline and I typically only need the one channel.  I then have to delete unwanted audio tr
