Dear support team,I am not sure if i am right, but the choice of fonts in closed captions makes no sense. In open Captions it would be right. Would it not be more clever to grey out this option in restricted closed captions and using a standard Font?
At least H254 and H265 exports has this issue. On long exports over 60 min Audio is clearly out of sync. With QT ProPres exports seems to be OK. Tested with 1080P50 footage and export. Please fix this issue ASAP.
I'm having an issue with the latest version of Premiere Pro where anytime I scrub through my timeline, the audio is louder than it's suppose to be. This is even after lowering the gain and adding clip/track effects. It's even worse when I send a timeline to Media Encoder and the exported video's audio levels are blowing out my speakers. Is there a setting I need turned on or off to fix this?
I first want to say that overall I love the new speeh to text functionality. However I seem to be having a problem getting the transcript to become captions. Last night I started to transcribe one of the shows we caption each week for broadcast. The transcription was great! Not perfect, but very good, also considering how poor the audio was from the client, it was exceptional. When I pressed the create captions button, the button greyed and became the "Creating captions" with a blue and grey rotating circle to the left of it. As it was the end of my day, I left it and went home. When I came in this morning I found the exact same screen circle still rotating and no captions. Have I done something wrong?
I know I posted in the captions subject, but I thought it would benefit from it's own subject.I just discovered I could edit the safe margins OVERLAY value, instead of 10/20%, I could put everything at 0%…But it doesn't seem to affect the captions results which sound locked to the default value…this is my yellow line here :vs what I edited there:
In PrPro 15.1.0 BETA Build 18:The double chevron to the right of the Workspaces names will get hidden if the names are too long (or there are too many).I could find it to manage workspaces by moving the entire window to the left and continually extending it so that it eventually re-appeared. At that point I could move the workspaces around enough to get it to stay visible. Just tested this on my large monitor for PrPro 14.9.0 and it does the same thing, so I guess it's not a bug specific to the beta but the chevron really shouldn't dissappear.
Hello everybody! I'm from Brazil and i'm already using a lot the caption to text in my projects (I know it's not indicated, but I'm finding really useful to me). But today, the "merge caption" does not work! Simple like that! Could someone fix that, please? Or there is a way to fix by my self here?
I've noticed that, while working on transcripts and captions, that it will frequently scroll back to the top of the transcript/captions instead of staying where it was, generally whenever Premiere auto-saves. It doesn't move the playhead, it just moves the transcript, so I have to scroll back through it to find my place.

The Luma Key is normally located in the Effects Panel > Video Effects > Keying, however its missing from the Beta version. ( It's still in the same location on the PP 2020 ).
I have Sync Settings set to download only (my desktop system running PrPro released version uploads settings). I have a project open, which PrPro requires to be closed. "Merge Captions" inside the Text panel is not working. It used to be working until a couple of weeks ago. Nothing happens when it is clicked now.
the merge subtitle button does not work since the last update
So I edited a project totally on the Beta version on my M1. Using latest version of Mac OS X. All fine. However, come back to it a few days later, open the project a number of issues: Firstly it keeps giving me the error that Franklin Gothic Bold and Italic is not isntalled. Even though it is.Secondly, the MOGRT files I have in my Creative Library take about 15 mins to appear in my graphics view, everytime premiere pro loads. Not only that I try to isntall local versions of them, and nothing happens. Finally I cannot even find the 'common' folder for the mogrt files to bulk install. Have you removed this?Thirdly, when trying to relink some of the lost MOGRT files with the aegraphics that the program created (I assume for cache), it just totally crashes the program and gives me the spinning wheel of death. This is a total nightmare to work with 😕😕 Spencer
"Create captions" function populates the "Captions" window and creates a caption track (C1) but does NOT populate that track with the orange caption files that then appear on screen. Please fix!
I'm opening a project with some dynamic link AE comps and fs7 / stock footage typical for my type of work. I opened a project and the CPU shot up to 75% usage and I am not even playing back. The background AE process is sucking up almost all of that CPU. Result: ...High CPU usage, system nearly unresponsive. I shot a session for the first time in C-Log since aquiring my Canon R6.I imported the footage into the Beta version of Premier Pro that is optimized for Apple Silicone, and the video files are showing up as "audio" files. Is this a known issues with the current Beta version, does it not support c-log footage? I do apologize if this topic has already been covered in the forum. Thanks,Justin
When i like to render a clip with a after effects graphic motion template, the whole premiere freezes out. You can cancel it. Just happens with motion graphics templates. Premiere Pro M1 Beta v15.1.0.10
Is there any way to go back to the previous version of the beta 15? Since the latest update, it stopped working for me. And because I liked the caption workflow and it's not available in the 14.9..
Hi.Premiere Pro crashes when I try to modify Tracks from New Sequence... Steps to reproduce:1. Choose "New Sequence..."2. Choose "Tracks" in the top of the dialogue box.3. Crash. I'm working with multiple mp4 files at constant frame rates (24 fps). Each video file has wav audio as well, and the project is perfectly in sync throughout the project in the preview frame. Unfortunately on export there's a noticeable drift of 0.5-1.5 seconds by the time the video concludes (~45 min video). This has now happened to me twice. I'm on a new Mac Mini (M1 chip) in Premiere Pro Beta. I see others have had this issue but it seems to be because they're working with VFR video files--mine are CFR. Any other ideas?
When I make a cut in a caption track, the second half of the track doesn’t contain the proper size of the font from the original.
Funny little bug here... When I make a change to the text to a Caption in the Text -> Captions panel, the text in my subtitle track updates, but the changed text has a faux-italic style applied. For example, I changed the generated "Saint" to "St.", and ended up with "St." in my onscreen caption?!? (See attached screenshot). Hmmm... but after toggleing faux-bold on and off at a text-box level and not a selected text, it now seems to be inserting proper non-italic text again. I just switched to editing the text on-screen instead of in the Text -> Captions panel and everything seems to be fine. I'm also finding that it is an easier place to edit than the Captions panel. On the beta Speech-to-text, I often find that the captions, as generated, are too short and I would like to make them longer without having to manually split / combine every second caption. I'm I missing a character count option, or is this something that can be added to an upcoming release?
Since yesterday, the transcription feature on Premiere Pro has become a total bomb. It started while I was still on 15.0.9 and the latest updade (15.1.0 Build 19) didn't fix the issue. Basically, every time I try to work on a sequence with caption / subtitles, Premiere Pro comes to a halt, the beach ball starts spinning and continues to do so for almost a full minute. I thought it could be a glitchy project but it's not. I crreated a brand new one, imported a new clip and tried transcribing a new sequence to no avail. As a test, I turned off the subtitle track. It made no difference. Beach ball spins like an Amargedon windmill! All the other sequences work / playback flawlessly. Please, Adobe wizzards, help!
For anyone eager to try Premiere Pro plugins running natively on the M1 in the latest Premiere Pro Beta, here is a link to the newest release of FxFactory: https://fxfactory.com/download/ Please note that on your first launch, it will take a while for Premiere Pro to load plugins and build its cache. Subsequent launches, when the plugin cache has already been built, happen an order of magnitude faster. (We are working on reducing, if not eliminating, that initial delay altogether. Your patience is appreciated!) Our own experience testing plugins on the M1 borders on the disbelief. A 13" MacBook Pro can outperform a Mac Pro costing 10K+$ on almost any task you throw at it. The fact that we are even comparing these two systems head on is wild.
