Premiere Elements

hi all basically my premier elements 2015 version on reinstalling wont work. limited help from customer support so looks like im going to have to upgrade to 2025. not happy really as the 2015 version was fine and couldnt be deactivated because of a adobe issue so it wouldnt launch. was only used on the same pc too. now...for anyone thats done this how does this work once you buy the upgrade option from adobe ? i know you get a 3 year license. just not the part about the upgrading. do i do it through my premier elemnets 2015 ? does that just upgrade to the newer version. or...do i just do it through adobe and get a new version and install 2025 ? any help would be appreciated. the customer support just links me here. i dont think he even knows. thanks.

On my mac mini, Adobe Elements files seem to be taking up a lot of storage in parts of the system I can't access. Can I reinstall it on an external hard drive to save space?

On Premiere Elements, when I change the font for a title,  the change does not reflect on the timeline when  I return to it

I am having trouble exporting a new video using Elements 2021. I'll give details:Original clips shot using iPhone ES in HD 1080 30. I've used this phone to make many videos that have exported with no issues.Video is approx 1.5 hours long. It's a class I'm doing, I've used PE to make 16 videos of this length for similar classes and have never had an issue exporting.The video has been rendered.Exporting in MP4 format at 1080 resolution.Video exporting process gets to 98% with 5 seconds left and then freezes/pauses for about a minute. Then an error message pops up that says export failed. No explanation or error code.Video is 12.85 GB. I have 254GB free on my PC.There are no timeline gaps. The video plays from beginning to end with no issues, just won't export. The host for the class needs the video in 1080 resolution and so far I can't deliver. Thanks for any help.

Many thanks - Fixed - my Adobe Premiere Elements 2022 install needed this Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86). Adobe could help their customers by updating their "Fix error 183" https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/download-install/kb/fix-error-183.html with this fis if they are listening.   titel edited by mod.

I'm fairly sure that this is a bug, I'm not sure if this is the proper place to report it though.Here's what happens:- I have M2TS video files (Sony camcorder), full 1080i 25 fps video with 5.1 audio channels.- I create a project with the PAL full 1080i HD / 5.1 audio preconfig. The program creates 3 video channels, and 3 5.1 audio channels - When I import an M2TS clip to Video 1, PE2025 systematically says that the format is different from the project, do I want to conform it, etc.- Regardless of the choice I make, the program will then create 6 additional audio channels, one for each of the clip, import the audio in them, AND leave the initial 3 5.1 channels it created empty. The only way to circumvent this, is to convert the files to MP4 with the same settings (and highest possible quality!). Hi, Let me explain this:- I have 4 clips on the timeline, C1, C2, C3, C4. I want to apply the default transitions (V+A) between C2 and C3- I select C2 and C3 and press Shift D, normally the default video and audio transitions should be applied just once, between C2 and C3. This is how it works in PE2023.- In PE 2025, the default transitions are applied twice: once between C2 and C3, and once between C3 and C4. This is the same if I apply only the video or audio transition (Ctrl D or Sh+Ctrl D) Is this normal behavior, a bug or am I doing something wrong ? (If I drag / drop the transition at the junction point, of course all works normally but I have to do it twice, once for the video and once for the audio.) Than ks for your help,RP

Hi, I just acquired 2025, and when opening my existing projects I realized to my dismay that all the titles and effects (such as motion, pan / zoom, color corrections) are lost during transfer - only the transitions are kept.This is a major hurdle for me, as it means that a significant amount of work has to be redone in ongoing projects.Is there some way to fix or work around this ? I was previously using 2023. Thanks for any help.RP

Hi I have created a video using various clips of other videos.  I have managed to remove visual clips of someone i do not want in the video.  However, there are a couple of key visual segments that i want to keep, but i can hear this persons voice over it! So, i need to remove the audio, we are talking about 3 seconds here (on a few ocassions). I have been using the 'Quick' not 'Advanced' timeline; as i've found the 'Quick' meets my requirements and looks simpler! Thanks

Hi, I recently purchased Adobe Elements Premiere 2025. but it does not let me export to to disc. Only to Social Media and computer etc. Does anyone know how to rectify or fix this please?

I know that in Adobe Premiere Pro, one can opt to see audio transients within the audio file track of a given project. But, can that be done within Premiere Elements? It would make it easier to sync up different audio components when creating, ie, a music video. If not, no prob. I've been doing it by sound. Just takes longer and is not quite as exact.Larry  Novik 

I'm having the same problem with PSE 2019. It will not install on windows 11 because it was made to install on internet explorer! Which is now retired but I'm going to insall IE and that should take care of the problem. Will find out later in the week.   Branched from old thread by mod

Several weeks ago, you gave me the address of the Adobe site I visit to download my current version of Adobe Premiere (and Elements) onto a new computer. That’s the good news. When I now attempt to do that, I get the following error message:To use adobe services, please update your Adobe applications, OS, and browser to the latest versionsOf course, I DID google this error message before writing to you, but I could not find anything useful. I DID go to my Google app and found that I was using the most current version. Though perhaps I need to download this Adobe program using IE or Edge. Also, I’m pretty sure that when I set up my new computer, everything updated itself first. So, I assume my OS is up to date (Windows  11 Pro.)Lastly, I can say that, with the help of someone, I did try to copy almost all the files from my old computer and then, for the time being, copied it to the hard drive of my new computer. Included in those files are, I assume, the original files I purchased

Hello Community -Is there any way I can customise and assign a keyboard shortcut for both audio and video tracks at the same time? Like the one works with right click? I can customise shortcuts but do not work like this one. I want a shortcut like this one. Your suggestion would be helpful. 🧡

This was suggested back in 2020 and even with PRE 2023 it still doesn't seem possible. I get irritated when I, sometimes, try to rename or delete an item because it's being used in auto creations though I have absolutely no interest in it. I know that I can stop it in Task Manager but I've never used the functio other than to try it out and find the resulting video, of no use at all. I really would like to be able to disable it.

Premiere Elements 2025 on windows 11. In most cases placing a scores music file does not open the property window. (In some cases it does). According to the multipix guide to adobe premiere elements 2025 "The Score Property panel can be re-opened at any time by double-clicking on the music clip on your timeline". This does not work as double clicking opens the waveforms in a large screen. RIght clicking on the audio clip in the timeline does give a menu selection but does not include opening the score property panel.Things I have done: 1) Restarted Elements 2025,  2) Rebooting the computer to restart Elements 2025,  3) Restarted Elements 2025 using ctrl + shift to reset all settings upon restart,  4) Uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Elements 2025. None successful in clearing up the problem.Further info: the music file 'Aura' always opens the property window. The file 'Back Home with my Family' never opens the property window. (As does others don't). I can say upon

Actuellement, le logiciel est installé sur la partitition C qui est saturée;  lJe ne peux plus d'ailleurs l'utiliser ! Il faut donc que je libère de l'espace sur celle-ci en l'installant sur la partition D. Premiere Elements 2025 ne m'intèresse pas pour le moment, c'est pourquoi je recherche un lien pour télécharger la version 2020.Merci d'avance pour votre retour.Philippe 

Hi I am using 'Adobe Premiere Elements 2024'.  I am seeking advice or guidance to any existing tutorials on how to slice segments from various files and put them together as one project for then exporting to a DVD. I assume this is done in 'Editor>video editor'? .These are all old camcorder videos, that ive converted through MakeMKV and tsMuxerGUI. I have a video in each file.  Each video though has perhaps 5 seperate videoed content.  I want to slice segments from each of the videos e.g. for video "1" i might want from 15minutes in to 30minutes in of a 60 minute video, and then for video "28" I might want from 5minutes in to 10minutes in of a 30minute video.Then I want to attach those to make a new video.See attached for file structure. Advice appreciated!Thanks  

I have a PE/PSE bundle and have been using it for a couple of weeks. Now the trial version has re-acivated, I've tried signing out/in and the Adobe host file fix, but these have not worked. Cheers, Chris

 When I take a new project, the voice and music goes to the bottom. Is there any way I can get them on the top right when I start a new project?

Are the Guided Edits in Premiere Elements 2025 video only? I am unable to hear any audio quidance. The audio symbol is grayed-out. Would be nice to have.

I have just updated to PE 2025.  I have created a video with added PE Music Scores.  When I open my video to edit it, the added Music Scores are hashed out and don't play. If I attempt to reload them from the Music Score library, I get an error:  "The score cannot be added as some audio files seem to be missing".  If I try to re-download the score there is no way of doing it - PE seems to assume that it is already loaded.  I have uninstalled and then re-installed PE but nothing changed.  Can anyone help with this?

I gave up using Premiere Elements Video Editor because the constant rendering drove me mad on Mac and Windows! In the meanwhile I used Filmora 13 to edit my videos but they are a nightmare and even if I had a Lifetime License they started to make everything paid, which was awfully unfair. I now have a very powerful Windows 11 laptop and decided to install Elements 2018 again and the rendering problem is gone. My question is, I can go on using this one, but would also like to hear from those who have used 2024 and 2025 whether it is worth it to go for one of those instead. Are there are lot more Effects, Transitions and Titles and are there maybe other plus points that make it worthwile for me to buy one of them? I make music videos using my own recordings, so I don't need any sound effects but need auto-sync, film with green screen, regularly use keyframes and basically love making very artistic videos. Thanks for all the information you can give me!!!
