I'm using a 15-month old iMac running Mojave 10.14.6 I've just upgraded to Elements 2020. Immediately after downloading I succesfully opened all three components; Premier, Photoshop and Organiser. I carried out a couple of quick checks and edits then exited all of them. When I returned shortly after I was again able to reopen Photoshop and Organiser but with Premier I could get no further than the welcome screen. When I click on the Premier icon a message with a spinning wheel appears stating that it is opening the Adobe Premier Workspace but, after a minute or more, the message disappears and only the welcome screen remains. I should add that when I was able to open Premier that first time I then loaded a project I had been working on with my previous Elements, version 13. The project loaded successfully and I experimented with a couple of quick edits. They went OK but when I tried to use 'Audio Gain' and 'Normalise' Premier crashed.
For the past 20 weeks I have been editing our pastor’s sermons using Premiere Elements 2020 (folder is labeled as 18?) Yesterday I discovered that if I save a project, when I re-open it, the video looks choppy, almost animated. I thought perhaps it was just a problem with the timeline previews but when I exported a section to MP4 (H.264), the exported MP4 video was also choppy. I discovered that if I keep the project open until completion and then export, the video appears fine. To test if the project or video was corrupted, I started a new timeline with raw video from the previous week which had been fine. Same result – everything is good while the project is open but once I save and close the project, when re-opened, the video is choppy. Tried additional video footage with the same result. No Project Settings or Preferences have been knowingly changed. Laptop specs: HP Spectre, Windows 10 v1909, i7 10th gen / 16GB RAM / 500 GB SSD / nvidia GeForce MX250 (not set as default for
After updateing to Windows 10 v2004, Premiere Elements 14 could no longer use Game Bar screen captures in the mp4 format. I downloaded the trial version of Premiere Elements 2020 and it can't either. When the mp4 is brought into the Expert timeline, the bottom half of the video is green and a repeat of the top half. I tried to run it through VLC convert to see if saving it as a mp4 there would help, and it did - except that the audio was slow and by the end of the video it was completely out of sync.
Hi, I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 2013. I've been renderig a large project in batches to avoid over heating my computer. I.E. Render ten hours of footage, save, shut down & wait till the next day. I've now done this for 20 hours worth of footage, & as I'm in the middle of hours 20-30 my drive becomes disconected. I quickly quit out of Premiere knowing that I've lost what was in progress, but can accept that. However when I log back on after reconnecting, it shows I have to rerender EVERYTHING. Even stuff that had been saved previous days. I have on my external hard drive Adobe Premiere Elements Preview Files which is 264.4 GBS so I know the render files are there still. Now I need help on how to reconnect them so I don't have to waste all this time/computer power again. Please help me.Thanks
Unfortunately I bought Premiere Elements 2020 and made a very bad experience: No chance to produce Blu-ray discs anymore!!! That is a real worst case scenario for me and the software is not usable for me. That is extremely annoying. Fortunately I bought a full version and not an update, so I still have my Elements 14 with which I can produce Blu-ray discs without problems. However, Adobe is dead for me, I'll never buy a software from them again and I don't use any other Adobe programs anymore. Bye bye Adobe, keep your scrap yourself! [title edited by mod for clarity]
I've been editing on Elements for four months and starting this week, Elements won't load any GoPro footage shot at 60fps or higher(GX files...). I can still view the files in preview, but don't have a clue why even older footage is now having this problem.
I am running Windows 10 and Elements 2019 and when printing any file type get a message "Could not print 'file.name' because of a program error. I have tried the other suggested solutions and none work. Any recommendations?Thank you.
I have been using Premiere Elements 10 for several years. Suddenly last week I received an error message while trying to render a project to a file. The message says, "You do not have permission to create or delete the output file." Never seen this before. It will only allow me to render to Adobe Flash, not mpeg, avi or windows. I have the software on two different computers, one on Windows 7 and one on Windows 10. Both are showing the same error. Has something changed with my license?
I have used Premiere Elements 10 for some time ( unfortunately not constantly.) I have always struggled to fully understand how premiere elements files and locates the various folders for a project. Is there a dedicated manual ,video or similar document that I can access to clarify this area?I have tried to locate this info on the internet but any details found all relate to specific problems and not a general explanation.Any help for a dummie would would be appreciated.Rob-lin
Premier Elements 2018 does not recognize my burners. I can only create ISO without Adobe Menus. Is there a resolution?
Clicking on the Video Editor tab on the Home Page fails to open the following page, is there an obvious answer please?
I have videos on multiple tracks in Expert View (i.e. video 1, viedo 2, etc). I want to resize the video on track 1 so I select (highlight) this clip in the Project panel and then go up to the Monitor Panel and click on the resizing handles to drag it to the proper size. But doing so deselects video 1 and selects one of the other videos in my project. IOW, as soon as I click on a clip in the monitor panel, video 1 is unselected and video 5 becomes active. How can I work with video 1 in the monitor panel when there are other video tracks in the same project?
I hae just bought Premier Elements 2020, having been using 2013. I can't find a way to fade a clip in or out. It was easy in 2013 but far from obvious in 2020. Unless I'm being completey thick!
I have premier elements 10. It was loaded onto the computer by HP when I bought the computer. I can't find the serial number and I need to upload the files that will allow me to export videos. My software won't export a file in anything other than .prel. Any thoughts about how I can download the necessary files?
I have installed Adobe Premiere Elements 7 onto our current laptop. It was previously used on our old pc. I have digistised old videos as mpeg files on our current laptop and I wanted to start editing in Adobe. When I select the files for editing a message box tells me "I must activate this component in order to use this feature" and I must click on a link w.adobe.com/go/enco deactivation, copy the MPEG2 component serial no. listed and get an unlock key, to proceed further. The link doens't work. When I cancel out of this message box, another box says "Add media failure", and says "This type of file is file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed"Not sure how to proceed from here.
Can't believe I'm having so much trouble figuring this out. I simply wanted to save two short video clips from a twenty minute video. I know how to highlight and remove the clips but can't figure out how to save the clips for a new project. If I click "copy" where is it saved to? I've spent hours trying to find answers in tutorials, Google searches, etc. My PM version is 15.Thank you
"Https://www.adobe.com/products/premiere-elements/tech-specs.html" says "Intel Core i7 and 16GB RAM required for XAVC-S (4K editing)". But is it OK with "AMD Ryzen 7 3700X"? "Https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html" says that the equivalent AMD is OK. I feel like I can do it. How is it actually?
I am using Premier Elements 13 on a 15-month-old iMac with Mac-OS Mojave 10.14.6 installed.Last night it was all working fine. This morning some aspects of PE are not working. For example, I cannot select or move images in the screen above the timeline. If I click on the Applied Effects button to the right of the screen only a blank white panel appears. There is some evidence that the computer underwent a restart during the night although I had not planned on one. In fact, when the usual reminder appeared yesterday about updates being available, I clicked on the 'Remind me tomorrow' option. In any case, it is now no longer practical to edit a video. Any ideas what can have gone wrong and what I can do to remedy it? Could Time Machine help (I've never used it before)? Should I reintall PE13 or buy an updated version? Try anything else? My thanks for any help you can offer.
I am trying to import a video with sound that is of the file format (.mp4). It is around 18 minutes long and of a large file size. I imported the video, but no audio file showed up underneath it like they usually do. I was patient and waited a while for the audio file to show up, but nothing. If I play it using windows media player, I am able to hear the audio. However, when I import it into Premiere Elements 15, there is no audio file at all. Is there something I am doing wrong? I couldn't seem to find help on this anywhere else, so I apologize if it is indeed a repost, but I googled it and nothing came up. Thank you!
I’m doing what I feel might be a complicated thing for Premiere. Or at least, I’m thinking that because I’m starting to get freezing and other problems again. This happened with my old computer, but since I have gotten an SSD with plenty of room as well as the regular good hard drive, I’ve not had that problem. I’m thinking that maybe I should be rendering, though I’m not sure what that is for. I dimly remember it from a year or two ago. I’m doing pic in pic for several clips in my song—perhaps about 5. So my first question: if I have put in the crop tool into one of my clips—in order for it to fit better with another clip on the other side of the screen—and I later want to go back to that area to crop it a little differently, I can’t seem to access those cropping properties. So, what I’ve been doing is simply re-dragging the cropping tool back into the clip, which makes the cropping properties visible on the R side of the program view. Perhaps I’m introducing too many
I can see how to change most keyboard shortcuts, but I cannot find the shortcut to change how I zoom in the timeline. I really want to change this from + and = to the system I am used to in other software which is shift+ctrl+ mouse scroll. How do I do that please? Is it possible to search for keyboard shortcuts that I want to change? Thanks very much.
Can Accusonus ERA Bundle work with Premiere Elements to reduce echos on the audio channel of videos? If not, can you suggest other solutions?
Hi, I just get Premiere Elements to make some quick and nice video, and got some really bad issue with my second project...When I try to look work with a simple project, it make my whole PC freez. I can do nothing but hardreboot it. All the background soft stop working, so this is not just a GUI freez, but a crash that keep display the last image somehow. My project is very simple. All new, I added one video in media, then droped it into the timeline. That's all. That's a 142Mo file, 1280/720 25FPS video, 26min32sec long. So nothing huge. I did nothing else than importing this video into the project and the timeline. No effect, nothing.Premiere Elements seem up to date.Working on a windows 10 pro, up to date to.My GPU driver are also up to date.(I installed this windows 2days ago, so it's still pretty clean) Hardward side, I'm working with a i9-9900K, a RTX 2080Super and 64Go of ram. Should be enough? The OS run on a mvne ssd, but this project files are on a goo
I created a slide show in Elements 15. The slide show did not render. When I click on render nothing happens. I bought and installed Elements 20. When I open the slide show in elements 20, I still have the same problem. I have Windows 10. Can anyone help?
In older versions of Premiere Elements (probably 2018 or earlier), I would be create multiple presets in custom video export secion. In 2019 or 2020, I do not see that opportunity. This is what I have now:But I cannot even create new presets in Advanced Settings, even after creating one, other option disappears: Please suggest what I am doing wrong. I badly need this to be fixed.
