Premiere Elements

Hi,I get the preview window in premiere elements not working in "real" speed and because of that withoud sound. I tried a lot ... shuttle speed, project settings, rendering. I would like to see the preview with sound in real speed. (After creating a file the output file is fine, only the preview is "out of order".) How can I reset the settings or get this handled?(Sorry for my bad English)ThxAvusdiagonalis

Can anyone help me with this one?  I would like to lock text overlay to a videoclip so that if I have to insert another videoclip inbetween clips in the time line the other clips and text overlays will stay aligned. On Premiere Elements 2020, the in/out markers are no appearing on the preview window.  I can right click the clip and from there I can go to "set clip marker" but it's an extra step.  Anyone know how to get the markers to appear on the preview window?

Why on my project do I now get for each picture a frame in red & black saying 'Media offline'?Thanks

Hi all,Today I received my much awaited new Adobe software, as above.............Within the package is 'Elements Auto Creations 2020' which has almost immediatly, become an annoyance.I've loaded into Premier Elements 2 videos which I have edited, and this was my main reason for purchasing this software package.On each occasion I then wanted to delete the orinal file whilst keeping the new version, all quite normal in my mind.However, Auto Creations refuses to allow me to delete the original file which it say's is: 'Open in Elements Auto Creations 2020' and it is NOT.....................ArghhhhhThe first time this happened I rebooted the computer and got over the issue, but the second time it happened something must be wrong, as this cannot be the way the software is intended to be used.Has anyone else had this issue, is it a settings issue or a program issue?Comments and suggestions would be very welcome to help overcome, this appart fault.Best R'sPeter 

Hello, What is the best video format output to export for YouTube high quality videos? I record my videos on IPhone XR with the highest quality selected in settings (4K). Then I enhance it through the sound auto gain and video exposure in PE. I also add sound and visual effects. Sometimes, when I export to a 4K video, it works well. Sometimes, it crashes (black screen, mixed frames).Thanks!

I recently posted a question on this forum and then made the mistake of posting it another way when I didn't receive an answer. I have since been able to complete my project, I was using PE 12 and always had been able to complete DVD discs using my old Dell Computer and was able to play them back both on my computer and my DVD player. I have since purchased a new HP computer since my Dell was becoming very sluggish, I was able to complete my DVD project on my new computer using PE 12 and could burn a disc but it would not play back on my Sony DVD player. Steve suggested that I try a play back on another DVD player but with this corona virus I was unable to do that. It was also suggested to update my drivers on my Sony player but that was not possible, it is too old.  I resorted to opening up my completed project with my old Dell Computer and was able to burn it successfully and play it back on both my computer and my Sony DVD player. Hi, when I export my video project timeline as AVI-DV (NTSC) the audio is in mono even though I have selected the stereo option (Adobe Premiere Elements 2020). Is there a way to export the audio in stereo ? The source audio track to the video is in stereo. Thanks.

I am re-posting my original problem with both Photoshop Elements 2018, and Premiere Elements 2018 as I have not heard back any feedback from my original post!  It may have been marked “Answered” by mistake.  Here is the original post and answers to this point: So I have extensively organized photos and videos using these programs, and also created several slide shows.  These videos used to playback just fine on my Asus laptop with the fastest Intel processor available in 2017, plust a Nvidea GEforce 950m graphics processor with 4gb of videoRAM.  Also 16gb ddr RAM.  Now, nothing but freezes and crashes with no video playback, or slideshow previews or playback!  I have already checked and changed the settings that should have cured this problem, and Adobe Tech support went on my PC for 3 hours trying to fix this, to no avail!  Other programs including VLC media player, and Pinnacle Studio playback and edit videos just fine, but this program will not wor

I have several mp4 clips I've uploaded to Adobe Premiere Elements 15 and most of them work perfectly fine but some of them do not play the video! Please help

I am using PE19 on a Windows computer. I have created a 1hr long video and cannot export it. I've tried burning it to a DVD which did not work so I've tried creating an ISO file which it says it does but the folder is empty. I am saving the ISO file to an empty folder on my C drive. I have also disabled the hardware acceleration and changed the main menu in attempts to export an ISO file but neither of those changes have worked. Any other ideas to try to get the movie exported and onto a DVD would be appreciated.

Hello Community, I am new to Premiere Elements, having only used iMovie in the past.  I am working on a project with 5 movie tracks, and when I import the last 2 files, the audio track has a 5.1 noted in the numbered audio track section and I cannot see any audio waveforms to work with to help line up and balance.I created a new project and re-imported the files, thinking I may have inadvertantly changed some global setting, but the same 2 files show the 5.1 notation on the audio track while the other 3 files and music background show up as before with their waveforms.I am at a loss for what is happening and would greatly appreciate some wisdom from those of you with more experience!!! Thanks in advance,Ed

Hi All, I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 on a Windows 10 64 bit desktop.  Every time I try to burn a project onto DVD, it says no burners detected.  I check device manager and my DVD drives are there.  I have reformatted the computer a couple of times thinking it might be virus related or some update error - still cannot get it to work.  Would anyone know what to do to get Premiere Elements 2019 to recognize my DVD Burner ? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

In tools, in expert view, I do not see movie menu.  I am using PE 2020.  Any idea why?

Hello (i'm French),i have a question about my Premiere Elements 14 (but also apply to most recent version) :i will soon make an edit with video rushs coming from different devices (like smartphone, tablettes, cameras...) so in different pixel resolutions and with differents codecs format. My final export will be for Youtube, mainly Quicktime MOV H264. I will add many effects to my timeline (like Cartoon NewBlue to make a watercolor effect...).I wanted to know, to optimize my computer performance and software during the edit, if it's better to convert all rushs before in all same format codec etc. to import them all in same codec in Premiere ? Or if it's better to import them directly with all different codec formats etc...What is the best for performance during the edit knowing i will add effects on my timeline.Thank you so much for your answer.Best Regards and take care !

I have premiere 10 elements and photoshop on my laptop.The laptop needs retired but not until I get a new one up and running.So I read I go to adobe and get a transfer form fill it out then they get back to me in 3 weeks or so.My question is how do I get a fully working version on my new computer?Also when do I get this version, is it only after they announce i qualify?

I have Premere Elements 12 running on an iMac with High Sierra 10.13. I am creating a DVD with menus using the Pan and Zoom template (although I am not doing any Pan and Zoom).  It only allows for 6 entries on a scenes menu.  In my case, 3 per line.  It looks like I could get another line of 3.  Is there a way to modify the scenes menu?  I don't see any other menu templates that allow more than 6 entries on the scenes menu.  I know that a 7th scene will automaticall go to a next scene menu, but if I only had 3 more I wanted it would be nice to avoid the "next" arrow. Thanks for any help. Rick

I have adobe premier elements 14. I'm trying to add .mov file but I get the message error codec missing. The file opens up in quicktime and I can import it to imovie. I have other .mov files that import fine. How do I go about fixing this?   Branched from an unrelated thread. Re: What is the diffrence of Premiere Elements and Rush?  

I used to frequently use these 2 programs on my old PC. Now I have new laptop, but I can't seem to find the download link for these. I bought the licence years ago but I should still be able to download the programs.thanks in advance,stuart

Hi folks. I had to reinstall Premiere Elements 14 as I was having some issues. Upon reinstalling, I chose to install it onto a different hard drive than before (same computer system). My serial number for the software was entered on installation and all went well. Now, when opening the program, I am greeted with the message;"The serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You need to deactivate another computer to use this product". This has been the only computer the software has ever been installed to, so I find it a bit odd. I've looked into my Adobe Account for ways to reset the allowed computers, but can't seem to find anything. Is there a way to have the approved "computers" reset so I can activate this new installation?Many thanks in advance! - Martin EDIT: I went back to the software, and closed the window which stated that the serial number was in use. It asked me if I wished to quit, I selected Yes, but the software stays open and app

I could not import HEVC videos in Elements 2020.I have Windows 10 1903, I bought the codec, I deleted the cache, I updated my nvidia quadro card to the last driver ... I receive the message that the files are not compatible on my system and the previous link is shown. But it is not true, I can open the videos with the operating system using any media player but neither organizer nor premiere elements can play or manage them. Very frustrating because I have updated since 2019 for this feature.Regards.
