Premiere Elements

Currently evaluating both Photoshop and Premier Elements 2020.  How do I change all my transitions to a random set? I dont want to have to go through and change each transition manually!

Zoom exported videos from 3 interviews in 640x360 aspect ratio and I'm having trouble editing them and exporting them without black bars around them. Elements keeps formatting the project as 640x480. I believe I have changed the settings in Zoom, so future videos come out easier to utilize... but I still want to use these 3 videos that are 640x360. 

Hello everyone, I am using Premier Elements 2019. I used to be able to hear sound during playback but one day it stopped. My operating system is Windows 10 Pro version 1903. I have an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 six core processor 3.70 GHz. 16 GB of ram. I import MP4 files and edit them. During playback I hear no audio even though when the clips play, the audio visual waves are moving. I can only hear the audio after I have exported the video from Premier Elements. This issue has been going on for months but I can still edit videos. It hasn't been a total back breaker but I haven't been able to figure it out on my own. There is no error message and I have gone on youtube and did what I could to the audio hardware settings and my system settings. I try to play the audio through my monitor or headphones. Never works.  The 'Find' drop menu bar won't activate to allow a search. Only some of my Projects show under 'Recent Projects'Ron 

I am using a new computer and signed out of the account for Premiere Elements 13 on my old computer. I loaded the software to my new computer, but it says it won't authorize that the serial number is invalid. I know everything is correct. Can anyone help?

I have gone to audio hardware, but I have no real options to choose from. Device class only shows MME. In default input the only other option is no audio and choosing that one doesn't help. Default output has no other options. Master clock also has no other options. All my other programs work just fine. What to do?

I have been out of video editing for a LONG time (maybe 20 years), but had previously used AP.  My computer at that time was a Sony VAIO desktop that had a Firewire (IEEE1394) interface.  My question is: with new laptops, how do I ingest and control the camcorder over firewire to get the video/audio data into the laptop?  I don't want to use Apple products, so is there any Windows platform available for video editing, or do I have to build my own at this point?  Thanks.  

Hi, I just purchased elements 2020 and am wondering if there is a way to apply the auto smart tone to multiple clips at the same time. I tried adding am adjustment layer to video 2 and that let me do auto color correction, but not the smart tone. Do I need to do this seperately to every clip?

I've Bought and installed Premiere Elements 14 in 2016. Now my PC got down and Windows 10 had to be Installed new. All Programm Files were deleted. How can I download Software again. I am owning an valid Serialnumber.

Thanks for your help.. Worked on video all day. Added a small video clip to the project by dragging on to timeline and video gone. Not listed under recent projects. Backups won't open. When I finially get something to load, the entire video is there but it does that red screen trick offline.

The Help PDF says to access Audio Tools in Quick View by clicking the Tools icon. However, doing so displays only video tools.  Is there a way to create a narration in Quick View?  Has Adobe dropped Audio Tools from the Quick View? --Jeff

Any clue on how to change the default title font and style in Premiere Elements 2019? Not happy with the font or the size (225 points, yikes!) I'd like it to be something else like Bell MT and 80 points, Thanks

Problem as follows:I have taken a number of video files, and applied various adjustments to them. I am now in the process of cutting them into different sections, and merging them into a final edit.However, I need to make additional adjustments to the idividual clips, but when I try and do so, I just get an annoying message which says "multiple clips selected" and adjustments are not possible.I have tried highlighting the relevant clip and checked the 'Clip' Menu to see if the Group or UnGroup is checked, but both are greyed out.I have tried renaming the clip to a unique name, but it makes no difference, and I have searched the boards for help, but with no luck... I'd be grateful if someone could help as this is infruiating! PROBLEM FIXED!The error was due to my having exported the audio to apply sound corrections through an external software programme and reimported BEFORE I had started to select clips from the original source.In short this meant that when I re-linked the audio t

I am creating a scrolling credits text at the end of my video, using "Classic Titles - General - Default Roll." I have over 20 names to put in, but when I get to the bottom of the display screen with about 10 names or so entered, the text box will not scroll upward so I can see to enter a name in the next blank slot. When I play it back, it advances to show more slots available, but when I click on it on the timeline to edit, it takes me back to the screen with only 10 names, and apparently no way to enter more. The first time I tried, I hit "tab" to advance to the next slot, and the next time, I pressed "enter" (return). No go either way. I found I could hit return and type a name in, but I had to do so blind (the cursor having advanced to a point out of sight below the bottom of the screen), not sure if it would be in the right place (it wasn't). Also, I could not remove the unused "Add text here" slots at the bottom. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Adobe sure doesn't! And

When I try to launch the video editor, I get the busy dialog for a couple of seconds and nothingI found the information to edit the debug database text file which says to change the value from false to true, but the line in the txt file (ds force cpu only) isn't even there. 

So I have been busy reformatting my laptop this weekend. Unfortunately I didn't initially image the system, so I'm having to start from scratch. Everything was going fine installing my photography plan with Lightroom and Photoshop and all my other apps, including the catalogs and presets. Then I installed Premiere, which installs fine, as does the Organiser that comes with it. But after hitting the video editor button in at the first launching stage, Premiere appers to be loading for several seconds and then just crashes.Now I have tried the fixes that Adobe gives, making sure the Adobe folder in My Documents is set to full control. I had already installed the Microsoft package they recommended and each to no avail. I finally removed all the Adobe software on my machine, carefully removing everything as directed with CCleaner. Rebooted the machine and installed Premiere Elements 14 again. It still does not launch. I rechecked the other procedures in case anything had changed and they w

Apparently Adobe customer assist is not available for now. Hope everyone there is well and they are just busy with so many people at home. Having much difficulty with loading  Adobe Premiere Elements and noted I'm not the only one. Hopefully someone at Help Center available in the next few weeks as this is prepaid. 

Hi, I am new to video editing and I did something in the Expert View where my vidoes are playing fast. I don't know what I did and I have looked for hours trying to find help or what it is called. I can start new projects and new videos and they all have the same problem. Any help would be appreciated!! Thamks!!

Hello, so I was resuming to edit a video with all clips which have audio, but no sound is coming from my headphones. Other sounds on my computer work, just not in the editor. How can I fix this?

I've been recording some Minecraft footage using OBS. When I play it in the regular Photos app of Windows, it plays completely normally. But when I import the video into Premiere Elements, the audio is out of sync from the video (by about 1 second). I've searched for it, and someone else reported with the exact same problem here:https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/audio-out-of-sync-after-importing/m-p/4531895?page=1#M16057 And the solution was using an app called Handbrake to change the framerate from Variable framerate to Constant framerate. Here's the thing:It fixes the problem. But if you have a slow computer like me, the app takes time to do the change on your video, especially if you have a longer video. So I was wondering if you guys (the people who work at Adobe) could fix this problem, so that we don't have to keep using this external program in the first place.Of course, I don't know if you guys can fix this.. I don't really know too much about

Are there are keyboard shortcuts for positioning Work Area Bars?

I have the Sony Digital 8 camcorder, trying to capture video in Adobe Premier Elements.  Looking for step by step instructions, since I have about 30 tapes to back up.  Thanks for any link to the right spot.  It doesnt appear there's alot of support for Sony Digital 8, i'm just glad it works.  When I go to Elements> Photo editor> add media I get error message saying no supported formats found. I was able to capture some video in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, but it was very tricky, I was hoping Elements would be easier from the You Tube videos, but it's not working yet. 

I made a video in the trial version of adobe premiere elements 2020. This starts with a title with movement. Now I bought adobe and transferred the movie to the new version. However, the black bar of the trial version remains in the title, the bar disappears further in the video. Does anyone know how to get that black bar out?
