Premiere Elements

When I "Add Media" with a HEVC/H.265 clip I get an error:  When I click on "Learn More" I get:    I think I have the Windows HEVC Codec from Microsoft on my computer, but can't figure out how to verify that.  What should I try next?  Thanks.Bill 

How can I do to give many clips the same atribute for example same "scale" ???

Hello,from one day to the other I can´t choose anymore the Style in the text field. They simply disappeared and I need them. Text, Animation and shape I can choose but not Style.What can I do to get them back?

I copy a text object in the video editor. If I adjust the copy, the original is also adjusted. This cannot be the intention / is a bug? 

I'm having problems with Premiere Elements 11 on my laptop running Windows 10. Graphics is AMD Radeon HD 8200 / R3 series with fully up-to-date driver. I've only started using this Photoshop Elements in the last few months. The videos have always been 'choppy' - they play fine in other players. But now, when I'm making a project, the preview panel is blank. The audio plays normally, and I can see a still when I pause it - bu blank when playing, which makes proper editing very difficult. I came across an old thread with the exact same symptoms, https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-elements/preview-panel-in-premiere-elements-10-stopped-working/td-p/5555851?page=1 but the answers suggest that this was very specific to Elements 10 and Nvidia graphics card, which is not my situation.Any help sorting this very gratefully received -so much the better if offered in 'For Dummies' language!thanksMark

Hello, On Adobe Premiere Elements 2020, I can't use certain audio tracks offered by Adobe. In this case there is no longer a blue strip and I cannot insert them into my video project. Just reinstalled PE2014 on Windows 10 and frequently the playback turns to black. My fix is a restart/reboot but you can't do that too often without seriously suffering from productivity. TIA.

What model graphics card and what driver number do you have?

I have imported different types of audio-files (MP3, MPEG 4 audio,  but I can't get any sound under my video's.

I store all my raw video on Blu Ray discs after I remove them from the SD card. What is the best way to import parts of this raw video from blu ray discs into Premiere Elements 15 or 19?  None of this video is copyrighted or protected, but just my own warehoused video.

Everytime I open up Adobe Premiere Elements and try to access the video editor, it gives me an error:"Adobe Application Manager, required to start your trial, is missing or damaged. Please download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager from http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager." I have followed a handful of different videos that addressed this issue and downloaded the application manager, to no prevail. Customer service for adobe has been less than helpful. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Is there a registry setting or something that will let me show more than the 5 most recent video projects?

PE 18For some reason I am now getting this installation error but the link to see the error summary does not lead to anywhere ? 

I upgraded from version 14 to 18. In the new PE2020 ver18; when I place a video in the timeline; the timing is incorrect. If I view a video in any application, i can pick a scene at a certain time, for example 10:25 and when I open the video in PE14 i can go to 10:25 and I'm exactly at the same frame in the video. However, when I open the video in PE2020 ver18, and go to 10:25, the video is at a different frame, a different point in time. The video starts at 0:0 in the correct spot but slowly the time is shifted off as the video progresses. 

Whenever trying to open Premiere Elements I always get the following error message: I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, and updating C++. I still get this error message and can't open Premiere. If anyone can help, I would much appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi I wonder if anyone has used this app in Elements I am trying to make a DVD label using the pre-installed create DVD Label. I want to try and change the background theme it comes with , or is there a way to download more themes ?ANy help much appreciatedThanks

I may have posted this already but not sure if it posted as there does not seem a way to view your posts but here it is again.... I recently installed Premier Elements 2020 on my new PC and have completed several projects successfully all my projects are stored on a shared hard drive however when I try to open a project made in version 2020 with version 2019 [edited by moderator- was 2029] on another PC if fails to open the project, is version 2020 not backwards compatible ?  old Projects made in older versions open in version 2020 no problem and can be worked on, however when an updated project is resaved in 2020 it will not open in older versions. Any one got any ideas on this one ?

My SJCAM 4000 (GoPro copy) resolution is 1080P PAL 30fps (FHD 1920*1080). Premiere Elements 2018 has this only in NTSC and I want PAL. Would appreciate a suggestion for Project Settings.

I have a new computer running windows 10 and I installed Premiere Elements 10 from the old computer which was windows 10.When I go to import a any video I only get the audio. The video is grayed out. It worked fine on the old computer. I am frustrated. Can any one help?Thank you,ccpjr

Ok I am VERY confused with this. I have recently upgraded my gaming PC to quite a high end. My specs are: I9 9900kf @ 5.0ghzGTX 2070 super 32gb ram @ 3000mhz  I went to render a video and watched my temps spike really high and just BSOD everytime i go and render which is very odd for a high end PC, Now I am assuming PE 2018 doesn't have GPU support or is there a way around this to stop my PC from BSOD when rendering ?  Kind regards

I'm trying to find out if I can add a Photoshop Elements 2020 extension to Apple Photos? I use Apple Photos to store all my pictures and I'm hoping that adding Photoshop Elements will be a seemless transition so that I don't have to move pictures all over the place. Being able to open the pictures in Apple Photos, edit them in Photoshop Elements, then save them back to Apple Photos would be phenomenal. I have searched but have not found a difinitive answer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

I have recently bought adobe premier elements 2020. Used 2014 version for several years  with no problems. When down loading a video from a file on my computer to premier elements , I do not get the entire video . For example , say I have a video on file that is 58:15 in length. Once downloaded to elements it might give me 47:20 or 54:00 but never the entire video ! I have a  DELL Optiplex 960 computer. Intel processor , core (TM) quad CPU . 8.00 gb of ram ( 7.84 gb usable ) . desktop 6h0fqur. Windows 10pro .I used the same computer when I successfully used Elements 2014. Right now I  am in desperate need of help with this matter as I have clients waiting for their EDITED videos ! Please help me! 

I've uninstalled/reinstalled till I am blue in the face.   The splash screen comes up and it looks as if various moduals are being loaded then the splash screen disappears then nothing.   I have Windows 10 Home and it is all updated. PElem has been working just fine.   Photoshope editor loads just fine,Please Help - Thanks DAve 

Hello,I used to have PE 9 along with PSE 9 installed on my computer. The problem is that I was forced to reload my computer. I have reinstalled PE and PSE without any issue because I had saved the downloaded files when I bought the package. I have made several attempts at updating the 2 programs without any luck. I came to the conclusion that the updates were no longer available. I have managed to find the updates for the camera raw (version 6.5) and photoshop elements (version 9.0.3).Now as far as version 14 of PE and PSE is concerned, I have the downloaded files that I have reinstalled without any problem. I have proceeded to the updates without any issue. My concern now is the following: I don't know how long updates will be available from Adobe for version 14 and I would feel much better if I was able to save copies of the patches available for this version. Unlike version 9, I have been unsuccessful at finding them. Can someone provide me with a link where I could find those patch

Hi, I'm trying to deactivate a PC for my Premiere Elements 15 that I have - the hard drive failed on the computer and I can't deactivate it that way.  I've tried going to Adobe Customer Care (via the virtual assistant) and keep getting "Sorry, we're closed. Please visit again."   So, I can't re-install PE15 on my new PC.  Help? Bill
