Premiere Elements

When editing I experience a very bad play back of my clips. Pics and sound operates like a car driving over a very bad road. Why doesn't it just playback smoothly? The final product is okay. I have a good Windows Dell laptop. Pls help.

I'm trying to use this program on a new computer.  I have got it to install, but when trying to start the program I can not start a new project (or an existing one, not that I have one on this computer). It says to go register.  But the programs are registered when I logged in.  There is only a pop up that says register and a copy and paste link to do so.  No other buttons other than to close the pop up.  When I close the pop up I only have two choices.  One to go back to the previous pop up that leads no where.  Two quit the program. I have tried...* restarting the computer* uninstalling and reinstalling the program* uninstalling and reinstalling the program from download options from where I can see that the I have registered the program.* I have the program running in legacy Windows 8 mode (currently on a Windows 10 Pro system) Any suggestions?

Upon installing  and running Premiere Elements 2025, I get message "MME device internal error. Do you want to open Audio Hardware Preferences".  Selecting either yes or no still brings me into the program (no preferences loaded). I select preferences from the menu and no matter what output audio source I select... all give MME internal error message and cannot be applied.I can play and hear audio in many other apps that play audio, which includes 2 media players and 6 other video editors.I have uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Elements 2025. No change in problem.Suggestions please.Thanks, BarryWindows 11

I am using Adobe Photoshop Elements Version: 18.0 (20201207.m.154403) x64. I have version 19, but have not installed it. I cannot import MOV files into Premiere Elements.  These are basically video clips shot on an iPhone. Appraently Adobe and Apple are incompatible. Two of technology's biggest players won't talk to each other. Go figure.  When I Google the internet for solutions to this problem I am inundated with offers for "free" file conversion programs.   Is this reallly the best solution?  If so, which conversion program is the preferred solution? ThanksDave

I'm building a video. I have several default text frames in which I have right-clicked and then clicked "Fade in and fade out video". I now need to use time stretch to increase the text box duration. How can I do that and maintain the fade in and fade out characteristic? Alternatively, how can I remove the Fade from the text frame?Note: This is my first post. I'm unsure which topic this question should be in.Thanks in advance.

Tried to install Elements 15 and it keeps asking me to 'update browser' and won't get past that.  New computer, current windows 11 with all the updates, tried several browsers and install always fails and I have to kill the installer in task manager.  I've spent several hours in 'chat' and have had nothing but problems.  Account creation was a mess too - old account I have had for years just vanished.  New account was finally created by tech support folks and shows my products so I can download them but they won't install and support is no help.I'll try again in a couple of days - if it still won't install I will have to find other vendors.  

Tried to load and use Premier Elements (2021), but an "Update is available" window blocks any use. The problem is, it does not and will not work. I've tried every option (e.g., multiple clicks on "Install Now"), but that "blocks aeverything else" window just sits there, totally non-responsive to anything, and blocking everything.Is there any way that "update" can be fixed?Or, is there some web address I can go to, to get that update, and get it installed, BEFORE I try to load and run Premier Elements, so that the NEXT time I try to load P-Elements, it will work?BTW, I'm running Windows 10, on an Intel I7 chip. No other problems, until now.

can i adjust the vertical space between 2 lines in a title?

When I load a video in 2024 premiere elements and playback for editing there is no sound.  I have this issue for all videos loaded.  

Can I set a kayboard shortcut for Fade In And out in the context menu. Usimng Windows 11

Greetings, My Premiere Elements 2021 is not detecting my Pioneer BDXL/DVD burner. The drive is active and has the latest drivers installed from Pioneer. When I tried to burn a simple DVD to Disk Premiere  says no burner detected. I can create a ISO in adobe and I can burn to DVD with windows and other burn softeare I have but I would like to use the feature supplied in the Adobe software. Anyone hear of this before or can suggest a fix? FYI This burner has done well before with my 2018, 2019 and 2020 versions of Premiere Elements but this is the first time I tried to burn a DVD since upgrading to 2021. I still have 2020 installed and it won't detect the burner now either. Thanks in advance

I have PE 2021 on a WIN10 desktop PC. I have an HD video clip comprising a zoom into a harbour with two large ships.The centre of the screen (used by default for shake reduction)  is just water. So I thought I'd use the "Select object to apply effect" so that one of the ships wouldbe used for the reduction algorithm.  Correct? I select the clip then Adjustments & Shake Reduction - then "Detailed".The algorithm starts to work so I "Cancel" & select "Advanced" in order toset "Crop Vs Smooth" to 12% (as recommended by Steve). Unfortunately there is a big banner across the preview window with"Click Shake Reduction to start again".  But the object that I wish to selectvia "Draw" is behind that banner! Any ideas on how to get around this?

This has been working last time I used it 4 weeks ago.And now it's only when I click begin share it shows working then a blank screen? Need help I don't know if it's because of Microsoft is down in certain areas over UK or if it's a new update that is xausythis problem.

When I try to export and share a project The screen turns white and stays that way. it does not export.

All I am trying to do is clip a few GoPro videos together along with a few pictures, then narrate my story.  Should be easy, right? Well, with a more than capable laptop (see below specs) and after a few minutes of adding a clip or trying to, you know, edit and build a project it simply freezes.  It doesn't appear to be stressing the laptop (see below screen shot from the task manager) and it won't even close down unless I use the task manager.  It simply gives the hour glass.   I've cleared the cache, etc.  Any help?  Or is the new update that bad as I've read on here? LaptoCPU Usage: I am beyond frustrated as it seems this is literally useless.   Again, any help would be appreciated.

hi i have a doubt in the export settings area about audio configurations.  lets say, if im gonna export in h264, i know the aac format is used at 48khz and is possible to use other aac variations and also that i can choose 512 bitrate but i can find if the audio is 16bit or 24 bit, i need 24, the same thing with mpeg4. another thing, i found that i can export quicktime (i think is mov.) and here in the audio settings it shows me that can be at 48khz and in 24bit but dont say nothing about the audio format(i need wav./pcm).  idont know if  the video is exported with the setting that says uncompressed rgb 8bit or yuv 8bit 10bit the audio will be in the imported format (wav.). ?? thankyou and sorry for my english and to let you know im not a video editing expert.  thanks

Adobe threatens to disable my program in 4 days. How do I address Adobe's ransomware?

I use PE14 and when I drop videos in the sound no longer plays.  I know my sound is working when I play youtube, but when I drop an MP4 into my Premier Elements I get no sound now.  Is it because I have an old version? 

I'm new to video editing. I've been working on a few projects that include video clips and imported music tracks. All audio has worked just fine. Then today I open one of my projects and there is no sound. I checked all of my projects and none of them have sound anymore. I tried starting a new project and imported video and music tracks--no sound at all. I checked the settings to make sure that my computer speakers were the default and they are. The volume is not muted as far as I can tell. My computer plays audio just fine outside of Adobe. This just happened all of a sudden. When I closed the project last night everything played just fine, then I open it today and there is no sound. I never changed any audio settings. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

I have a video project with clips that are all 24fps. There are no clips at a different rate. My Export Settings for fps is set to match the source video, but the software shows 59.94 greyed out and exports at that higher fps (which I verified in Windows by right-clicking the file and looking at fps). When I manually export at 24fps, it is quite choppy. Also, when I go to Edit > Project Settings > General, the timebase there shows at 59.94fps with no way to edit the value. I viewed my individual clips and there are indeed 24fps. 

An avid user of Adobe products for decades, with the advent of popular 360 cameras would it not be prudent for Adobe to provide the necessary plugin to utilize the 360 media to create again those one of a kind stunning videos?

If I try to export my current project as 1920x1080 as MP4 with a estimated target size of 1,45GB I get an empty error message:  I use Premiere Elements 2022 - Version 20.0 (20220702.Git.main)Windows 11 - 64bitThe two Scratch disks set in the settings have: 234 GB free and 656 GB fre space I exported several hundred videos in the past years on this system with no problems. Why is there no Error Message given and what can the problem be?

HeyWhat's a simple* animation or effect I could apply to a still image? The video project is an audio track and the image would be a person. So, I'd like to give the image some movement so it's not boring.*simple but remarkable Thank you.
