Hi there, new user to Adobe and generally first time in video editing. I have bulk uploaded several locations to elements organiser and i simply want to be able to view all my media in relation to date taken. From the menus available it allows me to sorts by newest/oldest however it only organises by import date not date taken. Any advice is what i am looking for is possible in elements organiser? NB i am using premiere elements with organiser. If i am click the events or locations tab, it seems to organise in this manner which is a kind of work around. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I am an absolute beginner to Premiere and after installing Elements 2018, I am receiving the dreaded "Incompatible Display Driver" message. A lot of advice suggests removing the BadDriver.txt file but there doesn't seem to be such a file with the new version of Elements. Have tried reinstalling drivers for my graphics card but doesnt improve the situation.DirectXDiagnostic shows the following settings;I must admit to having not used computers for much more than surfing the internet for the last decade so my knowledge is super limited and I have no idea what my next move is.
Using Adobe Premiere Elements 14 , at the end of my video , I have more credits than the title/credit roll allows. Is there anyway to add extra credits to a particular credit roll ??Thanks. Dave B.
I want to get some old 8mm movies scanned and imported into Premiere Elements for editing. I am confused about what output format to ask for. They recommend a 2K scan to get as much out of the film as possible. They offer MP4, AVI files, MOV, HD MP4, HD AVI, HD Prores, 2K AVI editing files, and 2K Prores files. What I want is to get the best quality that I am sure I can import. I am worried that any Prores file won't work. MP4, AVI and MOV I am sure will work, but am I throwing away quality from a 2 K scan? Will HD AVI, HD MP4, 2K AVI editing files work in Premiere Elements?Any help would be appreciated.
I am using PREMIER ELEMENT 10. I try to add an audio file to a project and I receive a message «Le module d'importation a signalé une erreur générique/ the import module signal a generic error» and the file is not added to the project. The audio file is an MP4 format in my ITUNE library. What can I do to import an AUDIO-FILE? Thank you for your help.Serge

I cannot get Premiere to ask "Where is the File .....(whatever)? on one of my iMacs but can on the other when I attempt to open an existing project. Therefore I do not know which file I need to locate. I have reinstalled Premiere but no joy so far!
Slideshows (stills + videos) are my main goal. I'm currently using Premiere Elements 10 & 11. I want to upgrade to PrE 12 or 14 (bought both, never installed), but I want to make sure I don't lose anything. I read creating slideshows changed with PrE 13 (no more editing in PrE) - is that true? I want to install PrE 14, but I'm worried that I won't have the same precise control over my still images as I do now (i.e. all video editing features). In short: Does PrE 14 have the same precise control over still images (mixed with video clips) as PrE 11 & 12?Secondary question: If there are significant differences (strengths & weaknesses) between versions 12 and 14, can I install both on the same computer? (I'm interested in the soundtrack feature in version 14).Any other advice on slideshows will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
How can I copy verbatim the timeline in my project to a second track? copy paste etc. does not work here. I have iphone video that was taken in portrait so I have black bars on either side of the video. My plan is to run the same video in a second timeline and heavily blur it out to soften the effect of the stark black bars with the main video in sharp contract in the center. Thanks in advance!!
I have continuous problems trying to open Adobe Premiere ad Photoshop elements 15.I have tried different suggestions from the forums but to no success. Every time I try to open these two programs I get the `stopped working' response. Please give me a resolution to this problem.
Ho effettuato il download della versione trial del programma, ed ho iniziato ad usarlo per prova. Non riesco però a trovare le icone degli spartiti musicali e neppure quelle dei templates per la creazione dei filmati istantanei. Come posso fare per trovarli?Grazie [Moved from Forum Comments to Premier Elements by moderator.][Forum Comments is for Comments about the Adobe forums themselves.]I downloaded the trial version of the program, and I started using it on a trial basis. It doesn't quite find icons for sheet music nor those of templates for creating an instantmovie. How can I find them?Thank you
I tried to pick an obvious example because usually less noticeable on the videos I have. Here is the Vive VR gear commercial/release trailer from 2016 and as you can see if you look at his forehead in the GIF, it lights up with grainy white pixels as he looks up:It's strange because you can see there is more complex lighting and movement in other areas of the GIF that don't suffer this problem.I've tried playing around with exposure/contrast on some clips-to-gifs and sometimes it helps but sometimes it doesn't do anything and of course the quality does get impacted by playing around with the exposure/contrast. Anyone have ideas as to how this could be minimized or eliminated?
will not install

I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 14 . At the end of my editing , i am using a scroll type title setting for all my credits . Is there anyway to slow down the speed of the scroll so it dosent " race " through the credits so fast ?? Any help would greatly be appreciated!Dave B.
How do I change the Vimeo account that I would like to upload to in Premiere Elements 2018?
Wie kann ich ein Titelmenu in einen Videofilm einer Konzertaufbahme einfügen, um später die Stücke einzeln aufrufen zu können?
I'm working with a team of volunteers to create a project. I've used Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 12 to create an animated lower third banner template. The template uses background video, a mask, and the text as three separate video tracks.I want to farm out all the banner making to another volunteer (using the same Windows 10 PC). I want to add these clips on one video track and manipulate them independently. I've seen threads about using 3rd party programs to copy and paste one project into another. But, as I understand it, these copy the full project (in my case 3 video tracks) into the new one. I'd rather have each banner be an individual clip.My question: Is there a way for my volunteer to do all the grunt work creating multiple clips so I can import them into my project and key them over my video? Of course I'd like to maintain quality as much as possible. Thanks in advance,Button_Pusher
Bought this in January this year, all was well until the last time I tried to start it ~ getting the message "detected an incompatible display driver" ~ nothing has changed since I originally bought the app. My display is NVIDIA GeForce GT710 Version 23.21.13.9101 which I believe is the latest version. Tried deleting the Baddriver.txt file (##FALSE###FALSE#0) but it just recreated the next time I tried to run the app. Looking on taskmanager it seems to be opening multiple occurrences of GPUsniffer.exe and dynamiclinkmanager.exe*32 processes increasing my CPU useeage to 100% before it finally stops ~ just closes down. Thanks in advanceDave Sloan
Many years ago I bought Potato Shop Elements. It was alright and was easily understood without resorting to tutorials. There was an offer of a Premiere Elements v9 for a few pounds more so I bought that as well. (They rely on your anxiety whispering in your ear in order to get you to shop more.)I never used the latter and a lot of years passed. Then, recently, I recorded a Victoria Derbyshire program on which I had two emails read out. I wanted to tidy up the beginning and the end of the program so got the Premiere out. It doesn't stand to reason and there is no way of working out how it works from just trying likely moves. I ended up downloading a tutorial .pdf. This bore little relation to the program it was talking about. You were left stumped after the first few pages. So I went back to the program and tried to work it out. I was presented with numerous options for what the tutorial meant.I haven't got three months t
