Premiere Elements

Hallo,ich habe kein Bild im Videofenster im Premiere Elements 10.Ich habe mir eine neue Grafikkarte gekauft, da die alte kaputt war. Es geht trotzdem nichts.Ich arbeite sehr wenig mit dem Programm und kann mich erinnern, dass ich das letzte Mal Einstellungen mit dem zoom gemacht habe und seit dem ging nichts mehr.Das war noch mit der alten Grafikkarte.Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen, das Problem zu lösen.GrußHermann

I bought the Premier Pro over a year ago and finally have a machine that will run it, but now I have trouble downloading it. It says that the platform is for Windows, but I have a Mac (I also had a Mac when I bought the product). How do I change it?

I recorded some video with a Sony Xperia phone.All of the files were recorded in MP4 format.  I was able to watch all of them on the phone after they were recorded without any problem.I exported the files to my Windows 10 PC.  Some of the files work great in Adobe Premiere Elements (I can see the video and hear sound).Others do not work at all.  I am getting an error that the file is not supported or that there is an issue with the codec.When I try to open the file with the Windows Media Player, I only get a black screen with no sound.I have tried the Handbrake program, and it cannot open the files, either.I have tried changing the extension to mkv, mpg, mov and wav.  None of these work allow me to open the files in Premiere.I have also downloaded the newest Quicktime.  Unfortunately, this will not let me open the files.Help will be greatly appreciated with this.

I have a problem with a disappearing Movie Title.  I load it using Movie Menu, Movie Title Here, put in the title and select Done. I come back the next day all I see is “Movie Title Here” not what I put in.Today I made a preview copy, DVD, to show to a group and when I opened the DVD it did not show the title but, “Movie Title Here”.  I’m glad it was an understanding group.Any thoughts?Thank you.  Cheers! Hello, I try and import to timeline (I did before) but it says already imported at C/users/myname - but its not there...? Any suggestions, weitd how I cant find file, thks, Jeff

I cannot change the title because 'the file is open'. How do I close this file ?

Error message- The project appears to be damaged, it cannot be opened.

Bonjour à tous.J'utilise Adobe Premiere Elements 11 pour monter mes vidéos.Lorsque je veux intégrer mes vidéos faites avec mon iphone 7, les vidéos filmées horizontalement sont intégrées et fonctionnent sans problème.Par contre, si je veux intégrer une vidéo filmée verticalement, j'ai le message d'erreur (le module d'importation a signalé une erreur générique) qui apparaît.J'ai cherché dans différents forums mais je ne trouve pas de solutions à ce problème.Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà été confronté à cela et surtout quelqu'un aurait il une solution à m'apporter pour pouvoir mettre ces vidéos dans mon projets svp ?Merci par avance

I have a Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro with the following system:Intel Core M-5Y71 1.2GHz (I know you need 2GHz, but it can turbo up to 2.9GHz)8GB RAM64-bit Windows 10Adobe elements seems to be able to playback anything shot on my Samsung Galaxy S8, but when it comes to GoPro Hero 5, it is all choppy and not smooth at all. Is my laptop lacking the required power, or is it something else I need to look at? thank you

the sound does it during editing, and if I look at it after editing, he does it too. if he is on facebook or on youtube, he does it on some devices and some does not please help somebody

I have Premiere Elements 12 on an iMac.  I have a project I am done with that has about a dozen clips (MTS files from an AVCHD camera) I have edited.  I have another project and would like to use those exact, edited clips.  How can I do that?  I used to use Pinnacle Studio about 8 years ago on a Windows XP and all I had to do was select a range of clips on the timeline, copy, go into my other project and paste.  But I've learned that nothing is that easy with Elements.  I see an "export" option but it is always greyed out so I can't select it.  Any help would be appreciated.  I could just bring the same clips into my 2nd project and do the editing all over again but there must be an easier way. The project with the 12 clips I want to export has about 50 clips all together, and the project I want to move them to has about 20.  All of them have some edits.  In other words, I can't just create a new project by deleting the clips I don't wa

I have many DVDs of family, mostly 10 - 15 yrs old, prepared on Premier Elements. On now replaying on various TVs they freeze after about  30 mins running. Can then only advance frame by frame. All were good on first production and quality on replay remains as for the original. No visual evidence of disc damage. Very frustrating and disappointing. Has anyone suggestions on nature and  how to overcome the problem?

Few days ago, installed the windows trial version of 2018 PSE. Worked ok, then purchased the adobe full version.  Now that uninstalled the windows version, the cataloging info, all the scanning done on my 24000 pictures is gone&!?Where have all the ifo gone, rescanning, the faces,etc...takes forever! Hi all,in my videos I frequently use screenrecordings (audio and video) of my iPhone, which I take via Quicktime, the common way. Today, the first time I used PE2018 for a new video, I noticed that 5-10 seconds at the end of the mov-file were simply missing. I checked with the finder and other tools and it was true: a couple of seconds simply disappeared in PE2018. Furthermore audio and video track were not playing synchronized. Surprisingly the video track is fast than the audi track. At the end of a 8min clip, the gap betwenn A and V is appx 10 secs.I did a couple of tests with various screenrecording-clips within the same project and it turned out that only files, longer than 2,5 - 3 minutes show the mentioned effect. Shorter clips are ok. Renderening did not have any effect nor was the problem solved after an export.I checked the web and former versions of PE faced some importing issues with mov files. Have you experienced something similar with PE2018 and found a solution?CheersAr

Hi there,I have a Macbook Pro 15 inch 2016 with 2.7 i7, 16 GB Ram and Radeon Pro 460 4 GB and purchased the bundled photoshop/premiere elements 2018 (current updates applied).I got a go pro Hero 6 for and discovered the high quality high frame rate footage saves in Hevc which is not compatible with premiere elements. Disappointing about that but moved on. Even using the other resolution available, I am unable to successfully edit as there is lag with everything I do (adding traditions, effects, adjusting time mapping and even scrubbing through the time line). I have search for answers to why this is happening, is there a setting I have on that should be off. Pretty annoying this new piece of software doesn't really work on my expensive laptop. I do understand file sizes are large and some performance issue could arise under heavy load, this this machine and software works about as well as my old MacBook Pro 17 inch 2009 using Premiere Pro CS5. Anyone have an idea why Auto Smart Tone in Premiere Elements 15 can take 3 minutes to analyze a 7-second clip in a 6-hour .AVI video?I have a 3.5 GHz processor, 32 GB RAM, OS (C:) = 200 GB SSD and three 4-TB HDD for video and project files.

I'm having problem with Video Story.  Particularly with one theme: Travel.   It won't render.  It gets to 20% then comes up with "Error compiling movie.  Unknown Error.:If I use another template no problem.     By trial and error  by removing one clip at a time I found that one clip was causing the problem.  It was on the Video 1 layer.  It was titled "Section_TitileAnimation_HD.mp4.   If I remove it, the project renders.   I tried playing with the attributes for the clip by turning them off.  It makes no difference.  I'd like to use the template, so I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this problem and found a fix for the clip.  BTW I'm Using a three year old HP Envy 17 with Windows creators version (most recent update).  I'm also using PowerDirector 16 and MovieMaker and have no problems at all with rendering or anything else, so I don't think it has to do with my computer's resour

I have a problem with poor resolution in still images that I am including in a Premiere Elements 14 video project. I think I know what is causing it but the fix I tried did not cure it. The current project is exactly the same general concept as the others I've done recently, using video clips and still images from the same cameras with very similar content. The still images included in the first three videos are perfect.After pulling several new still images into the recent project timeline I was surprised to see very poor resolution on playback. A closer look showed the images are cropped left and right. I pulled in one image from a previous project side by side into the new timeline and it looks perfect. I found the image sizes were different. The current project images with current resolution are 4608px3456p but the sharp image from the prior project are 4608px2592p and it fills the screen perfectly. I want to save them on a USB key to see them on my new TV Sony Bravia 4K. Is it possible or do I have to change the format of my videos ? And if yes, what format ? Second Question :I just bought a Sony FDR-AX53 video camera (4K).What is the best format to save my new videos on a USB key to see them on my new TV Sony Bravia 4K ? Some of my videos are not viewable in photoshop. Says its an unsupported file type or something. But I can view it on my computer. Is there an easy fix to this? How do I fix it?

hello,does prem elements 11 have green screening? I have managed sometimes with "merge" effect but it does not work always (e.g. shadows on green backround messis the result). Are there better screen screening in later versions?Please, I need an answer! Thank you in advance!Eija
