Premiere Elements

When we insert text, the text defaults to a symbol set called AIGTD (top font on list), apparently because the default font Caslon Pro 68 is missing.  In the Adjustments Panel > Style Tab, Caslon Pro 68 shows as the default font as expected.  Nevertheless, the Adjustments Panel > Text Tab > Font dropdown does not include Caslon Pro 68 in the font listing. Likewise, we don't find Caslon Pro 68 even listed in our Windows 11 font folder on our desktop.  Interestingly, to the best of our recollection, this issue has persisted through a few upgrades of the Adobe Elements software. Can anyone explain why the Adobe Premiere Elements default font is missing or how to restore the font?  How can we acertain that other fonts included with the software are not missing also?  Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Hello!I have created a video in PRE15 with settings of TV 4K.When I stream to my Philips Android tv the video buffers every few seconds.Should I have used the setting for computer instead of tv? 

HelloI have been using the old adobe premier elements 14 for a long time, suddenly my "crop tool" under applied effects, disappeared!!  I have been using this program since i bought it, and suddenly, after several years of trusty use, the key feature "crop" under "effects", disappeared. I now only have  " hollywood looks, frequently used and video effects, in the drop down menu.  Does anyone know if they just removed the effect suddenly??

I have a 16" macbook pro 2.6 ghz with 16gb memorry and recently downloaded premiere elements 2021. I am running Big sur 11.1. Why is it running so slowly. The response time is very delayed. For example, I will click on a button, and it takes 2-3 seconds for an action to take place. Is this normal? Did I install it incorrectly? I've already tried uninstalling and installing again. iMovie runs so much smoother and I feel as though I wasted my money on this program. Thank you!

I was wondering if any one has seen verticle 16:9 video, grid, collage templates available for elements?  I see templates available for Pro but nothing for Elements other than the horizontal formats.  Can these templates be used in Elements?  If so, what is the installation flow?  I know, of course, I could make a video collage myself in 16:9, but it is more difficult to do the work in elements than in Pro, where you have grid lines etc available.  Any tips are appreciated!  Thank you

smart fix always says "One or more selected file(s) could not be auto-analyzed.  multiple video types and formats.  Auto Smart tone does nothing.  windows 11, latest build of premiere.

Windows 11, updated to latest from windows update 6/5/24NVidia GTX3050 Ti GPU, updated to latest drivers 552.22 Studio Driver I'm using Premiere Elements 24.0 full version, on a windows 11 laptop with an i9 processor and GTX3050Ti graphics card. In the general preferences I can see that GTX3050 Ti is listed for GPU acceleration however it then says "not supported". I'm certain that it should be able to use this... But i'm out of ideas how to get this set up correctly. I'm up to date with drivers and software, I've tried uninstalling Premiere Elements and reinstalling it, I've tried adding my graphics card to the allowlisted_cards.txt but perhaps I'm not typing the correct text? I've also tried setting Premiere and GPUsniffer to use graphics cards in the Windows Graphics Settings, and setting Premiere to use GTX3050Ti in the NVidia settings too. There must be something (probably simple) that I'm missing... But i'm sure it used to work before I updated my laptop after not

I made a short video today with about 20 clips. 1:41 minutes. Made it very simple with transitions. The media files are combined photos and video clips in 4K. A few places in transitions between the photos the transition is not played back correcly when the video is saved as 4K/UHD. If I save the same video as HD it works correctly as seen in Preview. I have tried to re-render, restart computer etc. Nothing fixed the problem. I am considering this a potential bug. I am using version 2024. Hello. I am looking to start my YouTube channel where, among other things, I will make music reaction and commentary content similar to Shawn Cee and Anthony Fantano. Shawn Cee likes to add zoom-ins and other subtle effects for comedic purposes, which I would also like to incorporate into my videos. I have linked some examples for reference. Would Premiere Elements be an adequate software to make this type of content? And is Photoshop Elements good enough to make basic thumbnails? Hai there, this never happens again. Got Premiere Elements 2023 and got black screen while editing. I just see no preview. nothing.    I already googled for about ten minutes, i see something with update Mac but it is just the latest update.  Please help! Apple M2, Sonoma 14.4.1.    Thanks

I hope someone here can help. I am using Premiere Elements 2020 and am having an issue I have never encountered. I am making a compilation of many videos (both landscape and portrait) and when I add in the portrait videos they become blurry. Totally crisp before adding them. I thought maybe because they are portrait so in a separate file I reconfigured them to add a background layer that made them landscape size. I have exported in different sizes ( SD 720x480, HD 1280x720 and HD 1920x1080) They are all crystal clear until I add them to my montage and then they become blurry. I have spent hours upon hours editing this and was finally done until I realized this and its going to take hours to fix IF I can figure out how. Any ideas? Playback is on highest.

I have a video clip that's a certain size, and rather than stretch it to fit the canvas, I'd rather shrink the canvas to match the video clip. How do I do that? Currently using Premiere Elements 2018, but I assume most things should transfer over fine.

There are comments here about crashing on MP4 export. If I can buy Premiere Elements 2024 for OSX, I'll need to work entirely in MP4, import and export. Have these problems been solved?

I have Photoshop Elements. Premiere Elements is available for $49US when combined with Photoshop Elements, but $99US otherwise. The chat computer won't let me talk to a sales person to sort this out. Can anyone here help? (I'm in eastern Canada so really need to do this online.)

Adobe could make a Media Encoder Elements.an Encoder specialy made for the Elements Series. Why should they do that? Well, why am I unable to modify my project settings preferences as I want... need... to be? I have to use handbrake to convert all my 60 FPS rush to 59.94 FPS. I have recently been running into issues where Premiere Elements is unresponsive for basically any action. I have been trying the create slideshows through the organizer but doing simple actions such as editing an existing slideshow (just adding text captions) or even just loading an existing project, the program will freeze and soon after clicking on the app will show “Adobe Elements 2023 Organizer is not responding” warning message. At this point I’m trying to just export my projects so I can edit in another program but even trying that, the program freezes just 10-30% into the export process. Does anyone have some advice on settings or any fixes?I have tried reinstalling the program and have restarted the pc. I am running Windows 11, have an AMD Ryzen 5 processor and have an AMD Radeon RX 5600 GPU.

I want to describe my own experience with APE (2021 and 2024) and HEVC files. I hope that it will allow saving time for people who must or want to work with that format. Quickly: HEVC format is supported by APE (2021 and 2024) but that support needs improvement. There are still bugs and various issues which lead to user’s frustration and waste of time. First, something positive. APE is capable of handling even very demanding HEVC files. I tested it successfully with 4K 60fps without any issues. I’m writing it as I’ve found many posts in this community forum that Adobe Premiere can work with 4K 30fps HEVC only. No! I have purchased Premiere Elements in 2022. When I try to capture video from my Sony Digital 8 Videocamera, this is  not  found and does not appear in the capture device options . It only shows wdm as  capture device option (which I do not have) and no webcam or other device. I have set the videocamera both in player and Camera mode but with none of them it works. No device found. The videocamera is connected to my Win 11  64b PC via Firewire and it is found  without any problems by other softwares such as Vlc and Cyberlink Power Director.  What could be the reason  ? I checked whether any update was vaailable in Premiere Elements but could not find any . My version is Adobe Premiere Elememts 2022 - Version 20.0 . Thank you

whenever i try to open premiere, I get this "failed to perform the database operation as the organizer database is busy premiere elements". on the rare occasions when I can open it, whenever the autosave happens, this error also comes up and closes premiere.  I've been trying for a few hours to find out what's causing this but I can't figure it out, anyone got an answer?

Premier Elements 2023. Concerned about size of some of my .PREL files I took one of these, deleted all content, resaved and checked new size - no change.Archived that now empty project and created a Trimmed folder. That folder has pics, movies and music from a totally unrelated project. How has that happened?

How can we use Premiere Elements to achieve the special effect shown on the following video ? (moving windows)

I've been using Premiere Elements for a few years.  I love this software.  It does everything I need it to do for my very small service.  If I understand it correctly, Premiere Elements is not backward compatible with previous versions, which I found out the hard way.  I was in hopes of going back to old videos, sync them up to all attached elements, basically clean them up, then create an MP4 to file away (which, I realize I should have done at the time).  As I had mentioned, I have used this software over the years.  Is there a way to identify which version I had used to create a particular video so I can download it again (I still have a license for them) and fine tune these old videos?  I'm presently using PRE 2022.  Thanks in advance.
