Premiere Elements

I'm new to Premiere Elements and can't find a way to do something I'd think would be simple: add an outline or border to a text box.  I do Text / Classic / Default, and drag the text box over; I can then adjust the letters but there isn't any button or setting for a border.There's an option for Shapes, which can put a square around the text. From there, there might be something possible with Color Properties and/or Stroke but if even if I could figure something out, it seems enormously complex for such a simple task.Am I missing something?

Why on earth does it go automatically onto the timeline and disrupts my entire movie? I just want that clip in the Project Assets, and then drag it manually out where I want it afterwards.I don't find any options to change that either

How do I upgrade from Photoshop Elements to Photoshop Premiere Elements 18?  Seems like there's not a path to do this, and I shouldn't have to start from scratch as a long time PSE user.  Thanks

Hi.  Am looking for the ability to take several hundred images and turn them into a mp4 video clip.  Question.  Does Premier Elements 2018 have the ability to create time-lapse video?  If not, can any photoshop product do time-lapse?  Can I buy a stand alone copy, or do I need to get a monthly subscription?

Adobe premier elements 15 does not run on Windows 10.Have reinstalled my computer and tried to follow all tips on this page:Troubleshoot installation | Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements | Windows After installation I get the Adobe premiere elements 15 splash screen, when I Select Video Editor, a blue line apares under the button, looks like the computer are trying to start the program. I have left it like that for many hours, but nothing happens.Any suggestions?

I apologize if I explain this all wrong - not really all that experienced with video editing! Here it goes:So I'm creating a video slideshow using mixed media from over a decade, so they are all different resolutions. The project itself is 640x480 because the main video I'm using is that frame size (although some of the other pictures and videos are different). So I'm creating the slideshow using the preview screen, and everything is fitting within the frame size for the project, even when I preview it at full size. But when I then export the video, it isn't only in 640x480. There are videos and pictures that are wider, even though during the preview they were contained within the frame. The final video starts off in 640x480, and then one picture or clip will suddenly be wider than the frame, then back to the original size - it makes for a very janky viewing experience!Again, I apologize if I didn't explain it correctly. In my project some of the image sizes of video clips have changed to opposite: 1920x1080 > 1080x1920. What went wrong? How can I bring them back to right size? I' m using premiere elements 14.

Hello Adobe,I'm using Premiere Elements 14 and I'm having several issues. I'll display a couple of them with a screen shot.First, my Project Assets won't show. As you can see I have it clicked open to display content, but nothing is showing. I've tried this on a New project with no content whatsoever and I'm still encountering the same problem.Second, some audio is not playing in my projects (see the where the Timeline Marker is). It plays just fine on my computer, but when I put it in the project it's not playing at all. Sometimes when all of the audio is working fine in my project then I'll go to render it but then the final product will have the audio cut off at a certain point for the rest of the project or not even play at all to begin with.Not sure if these issues are hard drive related as I've used up almost all of my 476GB of space on my local disk drive, and had a new drive put on my computer last week that's used as a network drive. I was trying to do a voice narration with my realtalk headset with music playing in background. I have followed the procedure as  for how to 's in create narration.But my mic source button does not allow me to click it open to determine which mic Iam using also the mic sensitivity level does not move when I speak. Please tell me how to troubleshoot the problem. I have adobe flash player updated version installed and working, my headset, works and speakers as well. I am using Adobe Premiere element 14 and I have Windows 10.

Hi, I'm trying to saving a video project using Export/Share to a high def end product.  When I save as Quick Export, it looks great, but fuzzier than I would like.  When I choose ANY type of HD option whether its in the TV, Mobile, or Computer option under the Devices tab, the crops I have made to both stills and clips take on a life of their own -- almost all are cropped at the wrong place, losing arms, legs, bodies, whatever. Driving me crazy!  I'm sure it must be user error.  Any advice is appreciated!Thanks

I know this should be easy, but I just don't find it.How can I select a titleobject in the titlepanel. When I CTRL-Click on a title, I can move the Title. But when I release the CTRL-key, the title is not selected (fe. for deleting it).

Just upgraded to Premiere Elements 2018 on the understanding I could work with prores 422 hq files because an Adobe support agent said so. Is this possible or not? I don't seem to be able to. Am I missing something?

Nobody has been able to explain why my video previews don't run smoothly, even after rendering with the "High Quality" option.Everyone I've talked with about his says they don't have this problem and don't understand why I do, considering my equipment. I am currently using PrE to make short slideshows.  My project settings are set to default.  My images are 2500 px on the long side, with a resolution of 300ppi.  Each slideshow contains 7-10 images with lots of keyframed pan and zoom.  There are usually a couple lines of text, keyframed to animate, a soundtrack and a narration track. Adobe Premier Elements does not support a number of Movie Templates that were previously available at version 15. I need the General Movie Templates.. Is there a way to move the templates from 15 to 18?

I have inserted a lot of videos into premiere elements and I want to move them around.  however every time I try to move something between 2 videos it deletes a video to make room for itself. how can I fix this? Premiere Elements​

I cannot add audio to the timeline from any files on my pc. Always get this error. None of the solutions I've seen have worked.

Using Premiere Elements 15, is it possible to have a video pause and add notations and the start up again?  Want to add an arrow where I want the viewers attention to go - then want the action to continue.  Is this possible?Thanks

Hallo,ich habe ein ca. 30min langes Premiere Elements Projekt, welches ich mit Version 14 erstellt habe. Das Projekt läßt sich zwar in Version 2018 öffnen, jedoch friert 2018 ein, wenn ich versuche das Projekt zu rendern. Ebenfalls friert 2018 ein, wenn ich versuche das Projekt zu exportieren. Keine Fehlermeldung nur ein "stille Absturz". In Version 14 gab es mit dem Projekt keine Probleme.Ich bitte um Hilfe.OS: Windows 10, Build 16299.19Danke & Grüße.

Ich habe Adobe premiere Elements 15 auf meinem Laptop installiert. Obwohl mein Laptop die Systemanforderungen erfüllt, läuft das Programm nicht korrekt. Ich füge Fotos, Titel, Musik etc. ein, doch der Bildlauf ist stockend oder es passiert gar nichts. Auch "Lücken" schliessen funktioniert nicht korrekt. Das Programm schliesst nicht nur die Lücken auf der Leiste wo ich bin, sondern macht ein riesen Durcheinander.

I've been editing on a circa 2009 MacPro with four 800GB HD's in a RAID configuration. It's been a reliable beast but it's getting old and I'm thinking about switching to the newest MacBook Pro with 3.1GHz quad-core 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.1GHz  -  whatever "Turbo Boost" is - almost sounds like getting "true coat" on your car.The friendly Apple people assure me that the laptop will work fine editing full-length feature films in 4k RAW. Has anyone made the switch? And if so, what are your thoughts?
