Premiere Elements

About a week ago I inquired about converting a Photo story project and Steve replied and told me just to import the windows movie file into Premier Elements and produce it in Adobe, but to make sure my resolution matched. I have done that, however before burning it I was able to find some information regarding the DVD player that I want it to play on. The specs are as follows:Insignia Player Model NS-BRDVD3Uses the following discs for burningDVD RW:  Files, Mp3, WMA, JPEG, BETA CDDVD-R: Finalized in VR mode only, standard version 2.0So now my question/dilemma is when I import the pictures onto the video line they import as a WMV file not as jpegs, however originally they were all jpeg files, my audio files I can change to Mp3 so they are not the problem.   I want to burn it on a Verbatim DVD-R data life plus disc, but don't know about the "finalized in VR mode only Standard version 2.0" Do I need to redo the project in adobe premier elements and make all of my video line

When I import clips in elements 15 I have audio lag other apps work OK with these clips and  other mp4 clips work OK in elements The clips are shot on a cannon camcorder in the highest res 50fps 1080 etc , they play OK on media players and work on other video editing apps

Hi everyone,I've tried to find answers to my issue but couldn't get some.I've been using Premiere Elements for around 7-8 months now on Windows 10. Everything was alright. However, since I made the Windwos 10 Anniversary Update a few weeks ago, Premiere Elements 14 started to be vers slow... it's quite annoying for video editing. The video is not smooth at all and even the sound is bad.Does anyone have the same problem or have a tip?Thank you!Fred

I am using Windows 10 Home. I purchased the Photoshop Elements 15 and Premier Elements 15 bundle the end of November. After using the Shake Reduction function on a video (there is no Shake Stabilizer option) in both "quick" and "detailed", I got a red bar across the screen that reads: "To avoid extreme cropping set Framing to Stabilize Only or adjust other parameters". I do not see any option regarding Framing or Stabilizing. I am not sure what "other parameters" means. Where do I find this information?There is no online help for Elements 15 for this feature, and it looks like the shake reduction has changed since the last online tutorial information referring to Elements 13 and "Shake Stabilization". I would appreciate help in allowing me to use the shake reduction feature in Premier Elements 15 as it was intended. It was one of the reasons I upgraded from the Elements 8 bundle.

I'm trying to import a MP4 file from my home security system.  I can see that the file was imported into my video folder, but I'm getting the "importer reported generic error message and the guide will not let me proceed to the next step.  I'm using Windows 10 Home Edition with Adobe Premiere Elements 13.  As an aside, I really appreciate the forum here already. Without it, I wouldn't have been able to get by the "missing disk" pop-up...  It's been a little frustrating so far.  Any help is much appreciated...

Seither mühe ich mit einer Fehlermeldung beim Start von Premiere Elements ab:"Ein nicht kompatibler Display-Treiber wurde erkannt. Aktualisieren Sie den Display-Treiber um eine .....Display Driver: Intel(R) Graphics 3000 3.0.0 Build 9.17.10.4229"Driver updaten hat nichts genützt. Ich kann die Meldung wegklicken, Premiere Elements wird geöffnet, blockiert aber anschliessend das ganzen System, so dass nur noch ein gewaltsames Abschalten hilft.Kann mir jemand einen tipp geben?DankeVelosophe

Hi,When I capture from my webcam, it only allows the file format to be QTKit which means the files I'm capturing are huge. I can't see anyway to change the file format it captures to. I really need the file sizes to be much much smaller when capturing from webcam. Any ideas how I can change this?I'm using PE-14 for Mac and using the built-in iSight webcam.Many thanks!

I have Premiere elements 13 on my computer and it used to work fine.  I launched Photoshop elements 13 fine, but when premiere starts to load up the editor is stops responding and crashes.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it doesn't change.  I did previously have windows 7 when I installed the full elements package, but I tried a solution that I found regarding upgrading to windows 7, but that didn't work either.  I could keep looking through pages and pages of posts about solutions, but I don't have the time to do that, and I'd like to be able to use premier elements 13 because I don't have nearly enough money to upgrade to the newer 15.  Here are my system specs, if anyone can help it'd be much appreciated.

HelloI am trying to pull down the yellow sound bar to the right of the attached image so that it is at the same level as the yellow bar to the left.However, every time I pull it down it jumps back up.What am I doing wrong, please?Thank you.Steve

I organized a bunch of clips, dropped them the timeline and saved the project.Before I start editing, I want to see how long this movie will be with all my clips.  I don't see anything that tells me how long in minutes my movie will be?Also, the Render prompt keeps telling me to render.  What is this for.  Do I do this now, or when I am done with editing?Does Adobe Premiere make any changes to the original video clip files in any way as I am editing?I will want to export this to DVD when done to play on TV.Anything else on the checklist I should do to make a simple movie?Thanks!

Hello community,I'm trying to run Premiere Elements 12 on my PC with Windows 10 as OS.After starting I can choose between "Organizer" and "Videoeditor". Whilst running the organizer works out, i'm not able to run the videoeditor with the "new project"-choice.Any useful hints are highly appreciated.Kind regardsAttila_1913

while in export and share how do u preview the video to see the quality and what not. also how do I upload a video to google drive. It's 44 minutes long.

I'm working with Windows 10 Pro, processor is i-7 and memory has 8 GB so it shouldn't be the issue.  What I'm seeing is after installing the software, updating to to 13.1, the Photoshop Elements is working just fine but the Premiere Elements will go the startup screen with the eLive selected but when I go to the Quick/Guide/Expert it comes up with Adobe Premiere Elements 13 has stopped working.  I'm stuck there, looking for some help with this.I've tried getting Windows to update all of my software, it indicates everything is up to date.[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from Photoshop Elements to Premiere Elements... I have Premiere Elements activated on a desktop and a laptop... but my laptop has died and I can't de-activate it to activate on a new laptop. I have access to the hard drive, is there anything I can do within the files of the old hard drive to de-activate it? Thanks

!I recently installed Elements 15 after using 14 and other previous versions for a number of years.  I ran into something that I have not seen before and don't know if it is a bug or something that I am doing incorrectly.I am doing a video project and where I have two clips and am placing the second clip on top of the monitor that is displayed in the first clip.  In preview it looks fine.  I have highlighted it below:When I render it to a file using the basic HD 720 profile saving in either mpg or MP4 - H.264, the second video moves from where I had placed it. I don't think I am missing a step as I have done this with Premier Elements 14 several times and not noticed this.The final rendering is displayed here:Any help would be appreciated.

My project will not burn to DVD. It will get to the final stage (where it actually burns to DVD) and stop at 12% for hours.Software: Pre Elements 12Computer: PCTroubleshoot: I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Hello guysI cant start my Adobe Premiere Elements 12! There appears an error message and only thing i can do is to close it. I actualized all drivers and deinstalled/installed it 3 times but nothing is working. The programm worked before, but i dont know at what point it changed.thanks for helping

Ever since I upgraded my nVidia video drivers to the latest version, 21.21.13.7595, Premiere Elements 12 refuses to load.I followed all the troubleshooting steps, including de-installing everything, i.e. both Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12, rebooting, doing a fresh install but to no avail.Photoshop Elements 12 works fine, but Premiere Elements 12 just refuses to load.I informed Adobe about this through the Chat support, but after giving the agent my email ID and serial number, the agent just told me to post here...

HelloThe movie clip I have is 40 minutes long and over 20 years old. I have converted it from a VHS tape and saved it as a mpg file and installed it onto my PC. When I play the file in VLC Media Player the first 5 minutes have a green cast.In Premier Elements 11, I have managed to remove most of that cast by playing around with Effects | Colour | Hue, Saturation and Brightness but the first few minutes of the clip are now almost in black and white.Due to the age of the original VHS tape and the fact that it has undergone a conversion, I am not expecting a Warner Bros performance from Premier Elements, but is it possible to remove or lessen the green cast without affecting the other colours in the first 5 minutes of the clip?Many thanksSteve

I have installed this application on my laptop. When I try to open Premier Elements, I will get an announcement: We have found an incompatible display driver. To get better and faster performance, please update your display driver. I have done it several times but always same result. I have asked help from HP, but it couldn't help.I have Win 10 64-bit, AMD A10-8700, 12Gb. Display 1:  AMD Radeon R8 365 DX, display 2: AMD Radeon R6 Graphics. I have an older version of Premier Elements (V. 4) that I have reinstalled on a new computer.  I am having problems registering the product.  When I go to the "Help" menu and click on "Registration", it gives me an error message saying it was unable to connect to Adobe to register my product.  Obviously I am connected to the internet, I am accessing Adobe writing this help question. Is there a phone number I can call to get it registered or a website I can go to?  I have not been able to get to a site to do so.

Hi everyone,I'd like to uninstall the update to Premiere Elements 14.1 -- want to get back to 14.0.How do you do this?I'm on a Mac, using OSX Yosemite.The problem (which is SUPER FRUSTRATING) is that I can't open a recent project in the updated version: I get an error message saying that the project is not compatible with this version.I've seen a few complaints about that error message in various forums, but no obvious fixes -- except to delete an updated preferences file, and I can't find such a file.I want to finish that project!
