In Adobe Premiere Elements 2023, when I use "Add Media" to add any iPhone Prores video with a H.264 format, it shows up with diagonal lines distorting it. Also, if I export that same file from Elements, it continues to have the same heavy distortion after export. This same file plays fine in Windows Media player. I'm on Windows 11 fully updated and I've updated my NVIDIA drivers to the latest version. Also this same file works fine in Shotcut video editing program, which ironically is free. Attaching photo of what it looks like in playback. From reading help, this file format should be supported. Any ideas?
I organize my photos in folders labeled: [year][month]. If, during the period of a given folder, there is an event, I will create a subfolder. In the pervious version of Premiere Elements Organizer 15, all of the subfolders were listed, offset and directly below their primary folder. In the 2024 Organizer, the subfolders are separated form their parent folders and listed separately and alphabetically. How can I return to the prievious organizer format.

I confidently purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 after using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2022 as an educator, teaching video production. Now retired, I am using the same laptop to create family documentaries. There was no problem until I tried to export a 1 hour project. The system froze and after painful research discovered that Premiere Elements 2023 is allergic to the Intel HD Graphics 3000 system onboard. I am wondering how Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2022, a more advance product worked and not the inferior Adobe Premiere Elements 2023. How did the Adobe installation not highlight this incompatibility?I would like to know if I can purchase, ideally exchange Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 for and older version that will work with my fixed hardware.
Is the new premier elements 2024 able to read the video codex for samsung galaxy 23 ultra? I have premier elements 2019 and when I try to add video media which is from my 23 ultra a get a message that it can't read the file. I am wondering if it is now readable in the new 2024 version.
I'm working in Expert view but it only displays the last five projects on the home page - how do I find older ones that I want go back and update?
I don't thisnk that PrE supports sub titles or any type of closed captions. Has anyone figured out a work around. I found that I can import a video that I produced in PrE 2022 into Youtube. Youtube allows me to create subtitles that I can export in an *.SRT file, but I cannot find a way to import it back into my PrE video? Has anyone figured out a way to do this. I am trying to add subtitles to the video of my son's wedding vows. The sound on the video is terrible and the vows almost impossible to understand - adding closed caption or subtitles would be perfect! Any suggestions warmly welcomed. I have seen some sights online that may accomplish this for a fee, but (a) I'd rather not pay a fee, and (b) it is not clear how or if these services would actually work on my poor audio video. Thanks
My Premiere Elements 15 video-editing interface will not get big on my external monitor. When I try to enlarge the window, it jumps over to my laptop screen. (My monitor is a Dell U2515Hc, which is supposed to automatically arrange windows. I'm running Windows 10) Does anybody else have this problem, or know of a way to fix it?
I have 2022 premier elements. What does the Render button do?Thanks,TK in Tn.
I have a slideshow. I've written multiple captions for the clips. The normal white bar above the clips has disappeared, leaving a solid tan bar from the beginning to the end of the slideshow. I cannot add, delete, or move captions. How do I make the captions toolbar reappear?
I have recently installed version 23 - where is save to disc in export and share?
Unfortunately, APE2024 still has a problem with Cross Dissolve and Film Dissolve transitions when woring with HEVC files.Sometimes Cross Dissolve transitions are not visible in the output rendered video even when they are properly visible in the monitor window. However, sometimes everything is fine and Cross Dissolve are visible in the output. I have no idea what it depends on… I’ve just wasted more than 1h of rendering since the Cross Dissolve simply disappeared from my output file. APE has problems with Cross Dissolve at least from version 2020 and they haven’t fixed it yet ☹Cross Dissolve transition not working with HEVC fi... - Adobe Community - 11218109 I want to stress out that other transitions (I testes many of them) seem to be fine when working with HEVC. Only Cross Dissolve and Film Dissolve are causing problems.
I have full version of Adobe Premiere Elements 2024. GPU acceleration if enabled, still I can see the yellow line above my first clip just after importing it and placing on the timeline. I don't understand why. I have also APE2021 and there is no yellow line (no need to render) above the same clip. Is there any issue with APE2024 GPU Acceleration? Here it is video showing that problem: https://youtu.be/dahkr1rxZ40
Hello everyone,I've recently started using Adobe Premiere Elements for video editing and I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience. However, I've encountered some performance issues, especially when working with high-resolution footage or complex projects. I'm looking for tips and best practices to optimize the performance of Premiere Elements on my system.Hardware Considerations: What are the key hardware specifications (like CPU, GPU, RAM) that significantly impact the performance of Premiere Elements?Settings Adjustments: Are there specific settings within Premiere Elements that I can tweak to enhance performance, such as preview quality or rendering options?File Management: How does the organization of video files and project files affect performance? Should I be storing my files on an external drive, or is the local storage preferable?Plugins and Effects: Do certain plugins or effects put more strain on the system? How can I use these effectively without compromising performance?Rend
When I want to save a freeze frame via the Export function, I usually choose the bmp format. When I then check the ppi of the saved image, it shows as 96 ppi. How can I change the ppi to 300 instead of the 96 ?
I have recently upgraded from Premier Elements 2021 to 2024. I have for some years completed projects which are videos of our safari holiday – some of which are 90 minutes long. So I always export to a DVD – up until now. To say the least I am very disappointed that the developers have decided to remove this feature from the 2022 version (which I was unaware until my contact on the chat line recently. I was told there was third party software which could provide a DVD copy – but I have searched the web and tried numerous products, but none will recognise a .prel file. So I cannot transfer to a .iso file for a DVD burn. The options for export are now limited (for me) and even a TV export version of .mp4 file will not work on my TV. So I am left with only the computer to view my Safari Projects or I return to my 2021 version – that is certainly progress and a waste of money. So if you can help with
When the freeze frame option in a video is opened and I choose the export, instead of the 1920 x 1080 dimensions of the video in the project itself, the exported picture is smaller in width, at 1440 x 1080. Is there a way to make the exported pictures be 1920 x 1080?
Hi, I am trying to save a video I made to an iso image so that I can burn it to a dvd. But for some reason, everytime I export the video to an iso image, the picture appears very fuzzy when I play the saved video. I don't know why it keeps doing this and I'm not sure how to fix it. If anyone has had this problem and knows what to do, please let me know. Thank you!
I’ve noticed very strange behaviour of Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 which looks like some bugI just want to delete audio track of one clip on my timeline. Nothing more. Just delete it. However, I can see that deleting the audio track leads to shift of all video clips on the right. This is something unexpected and unwanted. Please see that video which shows the problem: https://youtu.be/w1nuMC-8qjEI know how to do that in other way but it seems that something wrong is happening here.
This is almost certainly some sort of caching issue, but what happens is that my timeline has a clip with the same file name as a video imported into the project assets earlier in my editing. However the timeline version when editing is display parts of two completely different video clips. I have doe the following but so far it has not fixed the problem. I removed the clip from the project assets and the timeline and shut down elements. I went into the cache folders on my Windows machine and deleted all cache files. I emptied the recycle bin. I even restarted my computer. I then went into the folder where the original file is and made sure it was correct (it is). I renamed this file by adding the txt "_FIXED" to the end of the filename. I then opened Elements and imported the file back into the project assets. This was then dragged onto the timeline. When I run that clip again, it is still displaying the video from two different clips. Remember, I verified that the file I rename
