Premiere Elements

I've started to use PE 15 on my Windows 10 PC. It seems to do what I want.  What are the most significant changes between 15 and 2023? Is rendering faster? Am I missing some wonderful new features? Thanks, Jim

Hi, recently when I use Premier Elements 2023 video editor I've had an issue that any photos or video turn a really green shade when I import them, and they stay like that meaning the exported video has a very green shade too making it unusable. Any ideas what might be causing this and how it can be fixed? I think it might be to do with colour management but not sure how to fix. Thanks, Graham 

Hello Adobe Community, I have been using Adobe elements 22 for about 6 months now to make videos and have had few issues. Tonight I have found a problem I cannot seem to find a solution for. When trying to view/edit video from my GoPro 10, any videos I have shot in 240fps, 2.7k for ultra-slow-mo crash the program. Elements lets me put the video on the timeline(about 50% of the time, other 50%, crash) (expert mode) and play it, however if I try to do ANYTHING else it freezes the whole program and it crashes.  I have the appropriate HVEC codecs purchased from the MSFT store, and edit other gopro footage without an issue.  My PC is brand new, with an i7 and NVIDIA GTX 4070ti, and I have had no other issues with other 4k footage. Can anyone please help!? Thanks. 

I'm something of an expert in premiere pro but helping a client do some preliminary work on a project in premiere elements.    What he wants to do is rearrange the video only clips in the timeline without overwriting anything and without creating a gap in the music track...  The simplest way I can figure out to do this is to drag (on a mac) while holding the option key, which moves the clip inbetween 2 clips but leaves a gap where the clip was previously.  Not a big deal to just control click on the gap "delete and close gap"  but wondering if there's a simpler way to do this...   Could do a cut and paste insert but that creates a gap in the music...  If there's a way to lock the audio track, that would work...  but doesn't seem possible..   Thanks.    

Can someone please tell me, why this don´t want to export my video? It stucked in 00:05 sec to done its job. I updated everything I could, but it still doesn´t work. I spend more than 3 hours to solve this problem, but nothing helped. I used this software for more than 20 videos and it worked, but now... nothing. I don´t want to export video in 4K, I tried also quick export in low quality - nothing. Crashed or stopped. And no, I don´t have old  comp. Is imported videos corrupted? NO! Is it in different formats? Well yes, some of them is from phone, but is this something, that PE is not able to solve with?    [Profanity removed by moderator]

I cannot export export to dvd files on my c: drive with PE 2023.  Created folder in root of C: with full permissions.  Have over 1.5 TB of space on C: available.  When attempting I get the message in the screenshot below:I am able to gen dvd files using 2019. Any help would be appreciated.  My laptop does not have an internal DVD drive and I do not seem to have an external that matches the listed approved drives.  

Hi all. I have downloaded videos from my phone to my laptop, then from laptop to Premier Elements 10, but the videos are upside down. How do i rotate them to the right way up? Thanks.

I'm working with the Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 version and I've used the "shake reduction" option on a few clips but those clips now have a purple banner across them that say "Click shake reduction to start again" or "Frame not analyzed for stabilization; click stabilize." I even exported and saved the video to my computer and watched it back in my files and those banners are still there. How do I get rid of those purple banners with text?

 

My project will Add Media from iPhone .MOV file, it will play the video and do the cut/delete/close gap and etc.  BUT when I try to do an Adjust in Expert Mode it slams me with an angry red banner “Shake Reduction requires clip dimensions to match Project Settings” and insists I “Create new project”.1. How do I even determine what my clip dimensions are?  I don't get much from 'Properties' of the file...2. I search the presets for a matching spec for .MOV and that doesn't help.I'm running Win10 Pro on a pretty capable PC with a good graphics processor.

Adobe Elements 7 crashed. Tried to uninstall & reinstall . Each time I uninstall and reinstall, as soon as program opens it searches for previous catalog (?) It appears for a few seconds displaying old projects and then crashes. I think that I added a far too large file previously and this caused the original crash. Can I interrupt the startup and remove previous project items ?I have spent Very Many Hourst trying to resolve this.Please can someone help me ?

Nach einem Schnitt wird der gelöschte Teil des Clips weiterhin abgespielt und nicht der neu hinzugefügte Clip. Im Bild sieht man, dass der Abspielkopf an einer Stelle ist, an der das Bild eigentlich schwarz sein sollte. Stattdessen wird der gelöschte Teil des Clips weiterhin gezeigt. Woran liegt das?

Hello! I was trying to import an MOV file into Premiere Elements, but when I try to import the files it shows that MOV is not supported, despite the User Guide book listing MOVs as compatible. Is this an error with Premiere Elements? I really don't want to have to convert to WMV all the time.   I'm running Adobe Premiere Elements 1.0 from the box set I bought years ago because I haven't updated from Windows 7 or XP yet.

I am using Elements 2023. I rendered a 4 minute mp4 from OBS and tried to export and share. The program does not respond and I have to close it. I used to do this export and share all the time with older elements.

I'm a long time user of Photoshop Elements and have been reasonably happy with it.Recently, I decided that I wanted to produce videos for family consumption.  I purchased Premiere Elements.The number of times that Premiere Elements has crashed is really frustrating.  It's happened during multiple different operations. I question how much QA was done on this product and it was released months ago -- so I would expect many of those bugs to be fixed.What would be a good alternative to Premier Elements?  I'm still looking for a relatively simple video editing/production solution and it's not clear to me which of the Adobe products should be considered.  Maybe it's time to look elsewhere.Thanks

Hi ,The above software is now freezing and failing to respond. I am basically attempting to add more media to complete a short film. The software loads up and allows me to select the media (MP4 files), transfer to project assets, then when I move clips to the story board the loading screen appears and after about 12% it stops, freezes then fails to respond. I have allowed the programme to run to see if it will operate but it just freezes and when I exit a message confirming that an encountered problem has been reported to microsoft.  I have also tried a complete restart to the movie and the same things occurs, I have ran malware and scan checks for any rogue files and found nothing. When I am running the programme there are no other apps running.My PC is operating windows 10 and is up to date.Can anyone explain why this expensive software has started crashing?Can anyone help or advise on how this problem can be rectified or how I can get a refund?Thank you for any help. I have an Premiere Elements project as well as all the videoclips in it saved to an external drive. I've been working on this project for months without issues, but today I briefly unplugged and plugged the external drive in. Now some of the clips in the project show "media offline." Meanwhile, other video clips are showing up as usual. Additionally, some video clips have been automatically placed in the wrong spot in the project. (I assume because they have the same file name as the "offline" file.) On the external drive, all the videoclips are separated into folders based on the date recorded. Some of the videoclips from one date have the same default file name ("C0033," "C0034," etc.) as those in another folder. And I don't believe that the external drive has been given a new drive letter... Help?

Good day.I am still a beginner and just can not figure out what I'm doing wrong.I have created a project Adobe Elements 2023 completely.I work with 5 video tracks, all about 2:30 minutes long. In the 5 video tracks I have created a shot from different angles. I play piano and in the background is the Mp3 export from my music software. Now I fade in and out between the different videos with the opacity. (see build)In the video preview everything is perfect. But as soon as I export (I have used dozens of times different codes) Are many clips just black and are not displayed. How do you open up an archived Premiere Elements project on another computer. I can see all the archived files but how do I import them into the Premiere Elements program on my new computer?

I have composed a movie on Photoshop Elements 7 2021The page froze and the autosave feature worked to save the file. The saved file is accessable but opens as Photoshop Elements with the frozen page not allowing me to access the project.  All 5 autosave files are similarly protected. How do I get to the project behind the frozen page?

Wow... what a dissapointment Premiere Elements 2022 has turned out to be. I have a new PC designed for video and photo editing/  24 gig RAM,  i7 CPU (i7-10750H) , SSD had drive running Windows 10, Nvidia GeForce GTX1650 Ti graphics card. I have old version of Premiere CS5.5, vegas video and variopus other editing software. Though I'd try Premiere Elements for easy edits.... What a piece of crap!   Video playback on timeline is SOOOO jerky, I'm not able to edit it properly.  Same files play back flawlesly in Premietre CS 5.5, Vegas video and Windows media player.   I've tried numerous project settings, upgraded to the latest Premiere 2022, upgraded my Nvidea graphics card to latest edition.... Video playback is still jerky as hell.  What gives Adobe?   I thought you have good products. This ones a fail!  Would like to get my money back Barry

What are the steps I need to navigate to enhance the resolution of an mp4 file the highest resolution possible?

I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 2022 Video Editor with a Dell XPS.I have updated with Dell to the current drivers forNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER display.I have over 60 GB free on the OS drive and over 200 GB free on Data drive.Video editor crashes when I try to create an ISO file typically freezes around 32 % doneVideo editor crashes - freezes when I try to render the video files.There appears to be no updates of any kind for this program. Appreciate helpand suggestions.
