Premiere Elements

I can not write to disk from premiere elements or ISO.  There is a problem with the burner address.  Any suggestion?

Using Premiere Elements 2019 I usually create projects with a prel file size of 400 KB. However, last year I created a projects with a prel file of 55 MB, and I don't know why.I really don't understand what I did differently, but this large file results in long waiting times when loading or saving the project.To investigate the cause of this large prel file, I copied the project and removed all video and audio clips from this copied project. It didn't make any sense. The empty project still has an enormous prel file size.Can someone explain what causes the huge size of this prel file and how I can solve this? 

I previously owned PSE & PRE 7, 9 & 13. Last May, I went ahead and purchased PSE & PRE 2021. Going through my account's overview today, it shows that both of these programs are version 19. Would version 19 be for PSE & PRE 2019, or is that version (19) the correct one for PSE & PRE 2021?I am a little confused about this and just want to confirm that the version I am using is the one I actually purchased last May. Hello, When I start either Smart Trim or Auto Analyze, the progress window pops up, but nothing happens.I've tried different video formats, re-installing software, adding codecs, but nothing seems to help. Maybe something simple I am not enabling/disabling?  GPU?There is no debug information that I can find either. Windows 11, Premiere 2021, Dell XPS laptop with Nvidia GTX 1650 GPU. Thanks in advance. 

Hello all, I recently tried to edit some 4K H265 footage with Adobe Premiere Elements. Since my old 2019 version doesn't support this codec I updated to the 2020 version. However, when I try to work with the footage it is hardly able to play the clips, let alone editing them. When I play these videoclips on my computer with the default Windows player or VLC there is no issue. I updated all my drivers but to no avail. It would still lag badly. So, I installed Premiere Elements 2020 on my wife's computer with poorer specc's. This works fine and the footage is played without any bother. My CPU reading is normal and so is my GPU. It does not seem to be stressed in any way. I thought about GPU acceleration but this isn't available in Elements sadly. Does anyone here have an idea why it might be that my computer has so much trouble playing these video clips in Premiere, whereas my wife's computer doesn't. Hardware should be sufficient, the video files are stored on a local SSD

I'm running Premiere 2022 with W10 and I am wondering which, Motion Tracking or Shake Reduction, to eliminate camera shake. I've tried each separately and both together with no significant change.1. Why am I not seeing any significant change when previewing the clip?2. Which would be better to use?3. Can they be used on the same clip simultaneously?4. Is there a link or location, etc., that will explain what each function is used for and the differences between the two?

I  currently have PE 2019 installed on my WIN 10 laptop. Recieved PE 2022 on a DVD as a Christmas gift, so I am attempting to install it on the same machine.  After inserting DVD, I get to the options window, the one which allows language selection, etc.. I beleive there is a 'Continue' button in this window but I am unable to access it because I am unable to resize this window.  Only option is Exit which kills the install. Do I need to uninstall PE2019 prior to installing PE 2022?  Is there something I missed?  It's only an install which would seem like a straight forward task..    Thanks...

Hi,In 2016 I purchased the Teacher/Student Version of Premiere Elements 14.I got 2 activtion codes and installed it on my laptop and desktop.Unfortunately, recently, the one on my desktop is displaying a "Trial has expired message" and is not letting me proceed with using the software.I was wondering if anybody has ideas on how I should proceed (I still have the activation codes.).Thank you

I updated to MacOS Big Sur 11.5.2 . Now my Premiere Elements 13 won't open, saying it needs an update. How do I update without being able to open the app? 

Hi I cannot activate Premier Elements 14 on a new installed PC. Installs correctly, but when I enter the serial number, I get a message indicating that I need to Contact Customer Support. Support has confirmed it is a vlid serial number and to post here. What do I do? Have same issue with Photoshop  Elementrs 14. Thanks.

Just installed Premiere Elements 19. No sound from timeline or elsewhere. However, perfect sound if I play my clips on any other player. The speakers are set to default ourput - so everything is OK. However, the audioconfiguration in the project settings tells me "device class MME" and "Realtec High Definition" not working.Al audio testing in windows works just fine but not PE.Are there any hidden settings?

Hello, I have pe2021 and wondering if I'll have problems editing gopro video shot at 2.7k at 60 frames per second?In the past, I shot at 1080p 60 frames per second without any problems.Thank you for any reponses

I've added a fade in and fade out to a clip.But the fade out is just liner from normal to black.  Looks weak.I want to make it a more gradual fade at first, then accelerate.Anybody know how?Thanks

Hello,I am trying to create a portait edit as shown in the tutorial.  I am using PE 2022 but when I enlarge the video and add the blur to track 1, it is not showing up. Neither is the black bars on the edges of the videos. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thank you

I have created files in Premiere Elements 2020, which have been saved as .prel files. Often when I attempt to open these files in Premiere to continue editing, I get this message:  This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed. Most of the time I cannot open prel files at all. Sometimes a prel file will randomly open, but some clips are 'offline' and are just a red cryptic field saying offline.

An integrated card : Intel(R) UHD Graphics A dedicated card : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super   However, Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 (2022 seems to work the same) detects the integrated graphics and not the dedicated one !   The problem is that the software browses a file containing a list of supported graphics cards and is case sensitive ... Okay, so I know this is going to be a very broad question, but I'm currently using Adobe Premiere Elements 15 (2017) as my go-to video editing tool and have been since 2017. I don't do video-editing professionally or anything, or use it as a way to make money (at least not yet...) I use it for editing home-videos and a few times a year I'll edit some video-game footage I've captured together and upload it to YouTube. Aside from the occasional crashing and glitches, Adobe Premiere Elements 15 has worked wonderfully for me for the past 4 years. But to all of the pros out there, knowing what I mainly use it for, would it really "benefit" me to upgrade to Adobe Premiere Elements 2022, or should I just save my $100 and keep what I have? Hello, I'm new to Premiere Elements 15 and I'm having some difficulty adding text boxes on top of a video and being able to define how long they stay on screen and to give them a transition when they appear and disappear. I've searched the help, but it didn't have the answer. I'm in a time pinch and need to figure this out quickly for a presentation. Also, how do I apply the same text style (font, color, etc.) to the text box that I have on the main title text?Thanks,Kevin

I'm currently using PSE9 and PSE2021 on the same Windows 10 computer. When I open my PSE2021 "Photoshop Premiere Elements Catalog" folder, I see that it contains the folders of images that I've imported. Following those, there is a folder called "Photoshop Elements Catalog" (dated 10/27/2013 -- I have no idea where that date came from): Can you tell me where this came from and what it is used for? And a final folder called "Photoshop Elements Catalog 1" (dated 1/5/2021 -- the date of my latest updates): My guess is that this is where the catalog data is stored for the "Photoshop Premiere Elements Catalog" folder. Can you explain what each of these entries is used for?  Also, when I finish working on PSE2021, I select the option to backup the catalog on exit. Where is this backup saved? Thanks for any help you can provide. Ken

I purchased the full version of the video editor just about 10 minutes ago and it still has the watermark for the trial everytime I open a video. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Hi Adobe Support. I recently purchased & installed Premiere Elements 2020. I am trying to add media but I'm getting an error message, can you please help.I've clicked onto Add Media, navigated to the folder in question and clicked on the image I wish to bring in, (a JPG image approx 130kb) with the following error message: The importer reported a generic error.The image opens in many other programs without fault.
