Premiere Elements

Can you do After Effects work and use it (the finished files or templates) in Premiere Elements 2021 and finish up your video edit that way?  The pre-defined Title Screens are only really functional for rather specific uses, and the moving text options work alright for in-video stuff, but I was curious to know if learning After Effects would provide me with greater options for making Title Screens, Video Intros (and Outros), and maybe even some product presentation and company logo graphic videos?  I'm still trying to use Premiere Elements 2021 for my video editing because it's working pretty well for my needs, but I'm trying to create new video intros and outros, product presentation video clips, changes to some company logo video clips, etc. and I'm wondering if anyone thinks or knows if After Effects is the program that I'm probably wanting to use or not?  Let me know.  Thanks!

I have been using Premiere Elements bundled with photoshop element for more than twenty years with various version, 7, 11, 14, 18 and now 2021. I always encountered bugs and been able to go around them to finalize my videos. This time no rendered (rendus) possible on my MP4 included with my photos. Of course, impossible to export the video. I had to eliminate all the videos, registered the video, exported in MP4 and use my previous version (18) to rintroduce the videos in the spaces left empty. I did the (rendu), registered and exported the entire video all inclusive. I can not believe that we still this kind of problem after all these years on the market. And we pay each time more than a hundred dollars for these unfinished products. Noone reviewing theses software before selling them? To say the least, I am not happy after all those hours passed to find a solution. Don't tell that people have different configurations and computers. I used the same computer. No change! Ineed to edit a video and take a segment of the video (not a clip) from the center for the screen, discarding the video on the edges. So I want to clip off edges fo the video and keep the remainder.I keep thinking I have missed this option somewhere in the depths of the menus? Can you help? Thanks in advance/

I recently purchased Premiere Elements 2022 and installed it on a new Dell Inspiron 16. It works perfectly when I install it and use it in trial mode, but once I enter the serial number and activate the software, it freezes constantly and I am unable to render or export the timelines I created in the trial mode. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but have the same issue - works fine in trial mode but not once I activate it. It doesn't seem like it is related to computer settings since it works fine in trial mode. What am I missing?  

I still use Premiere Elements version 15.In an old project, I always had the problem, that the window "project elements" (in German "Projektelemente") opened half outside of the screen. I tried to move the window to a better position, but only the size of the window changed. Suddenly the window disappeared. Now I can't find the window any more. If I click on the "project elements" button, nothing happens.When I create a new project, the window openes correctly.How can I get back my window in my old project?

I would love some help on what to do with the error message stating "Error compiling movie. Unknown error". This error message comes while trying to export and share my movie. Like many other users here I have put in months of effort and I really want to find the fix for my own sanity and time investment. After doing some digging online and coming up empty, I decided to go back through and remove all transitions to see what happens... Well, removing the transitions enabled the video to get processed and exported. However, not being able to incorporate transitions is a real bummer as it's one of the basic features of a video editing program. I would appreciate any help or guidance. I am using a Dell G7 7500 with: Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHzMemory: 16.0 GBGraphics: Intel(R) UHD Graphics / GEFORCE RTX 2060 My hope is that it's not a HW issue and there is a patch. Thanks, George 

Good morning !I am trying to help a person with his video editing which he made with Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 version 19.0. After observation, I am not able to open files in Prores 422 and files in Prores 444 with alpha. What should I do to successfully open these files. Please help me!

I have lots of miniDV tapes taken years ago on a Sony Handycam DCR-TRV27.  Although the camera had the ability to shoot in a 16:9 format (which I believe simply cropped off the top and bottom of the incoming image), at the time we had a standard tv and so shot everything in the 4:3 format. All of these tapes have sat for years, and just played through the camcorder to the tv when we wanted to watch them.I recently purchased the Premiere/Photoshop Elements bundle, so I'm just starting out here, but now I'd like to turn these tapes into DVDs (not Blu Ray), and of course, now our televisions are all 16:9 sets, so I'd like to end up with DVDs that fill those screens, and I'm not certain the best way to go about that.  I understand that I will probably induce some distortion, and likely some loss of quality in doing this, but I'd like to at least give it a try and compare the results.  I'm just not sure how best to go about it, due to all the different project settings, outpu

I havent touched my premiere elements for a while. Got a new computer a few years ago and now I want to make new video. I went to Adobe website, logged into my account, clicked to download my Premiere Elements from 2019 (says version 17?). When I try to download it, I get an error message saying:  ''Update required, your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates for your operating system.''I did all my windows updates, my chromes is up to date also but it seems I cannot upgrade to Windows 11 on this computer. So, does that mean I bought Premiere Elements, but I cannot run it anymore with my ''old'' Windows 10? Can someone help me out? 

Since replacing PE21 with PE22 all the png graphics I previously downloaded now show a background when imported on to the time-line instead of being transparent as they should be. How can I address this? Do I need to add a new codec for this version of PE? Is there something that I'm overlooking? Amateur in distress here,Please help! 

I can not write to disk from premiere elements or ISO.  There is a problem with the burner address.  Any suggestion?

Using Premiere Elements 2019 I usually create projects with a prel file size of 400 KB. However, last year I created a projects with a prel file of 55 MB, and I don't know why.I really don't understand what I did differently, but this large file results in long waiting times when loading or saving the project.To investigate the cause of this large prel file, I copied the project and removed all video and audio clips from this copied project. It didn't make any sense. The empty project still has an enormous prel file size.Can someone explain what causes the huge size of this prel file and how I can solve this? 

I previously owned PSE & PRE 7, 9 & 13. Last May, I went ahead and purchased PSE & PRE 2021. Going through my account's overview today, it shows that both of these programs are version 19. Would version 19 be for PSE & PRE 2019, or is that version (19) the correct one for PSE & PRE 2021?I am a little confused about this and just want to confirm that the version I am using is the one I actually purchased last May. Hello, When I start either Smart Trim or Auto Analyze, the progress window pops up, but nothing happens.I've tried different video formats, re-installing software, adding codecs, but nothing seems to help. Maybe something simple I am not enabling/disabling?  GPU?There is no debug information that I can find either. Windows 11, Premiere 2021, Dell XPS laptop with Nvidia GTX 1650 GPU. Thanks in advance. 

Hello all, I recently tried to edit some 4K H265 footage with Adobe Premiere Elements. Since my old 2019 version doesn't support this codec I updated to the 2020 version. However, when I try to work with the footage it is hardly able to play the clips, let alone editing them. When I play these videoclips on my computer with the default Windows player or VLC there is no issue. I updated all my drivers but to no avail. It would still lag badly. So, I installed Premiere Elements 2020 on my wife's computer with poorer specc's. This works fine and the footage is played without any bother. My CPU reading is normal and so is my GPU. It does not seem to be stressed in any way. I thought about GPU acceleration but this isn't available in Elements sadly. Does anyone here have an idea why it might be that my computer has so much trouble playing these video clips in Premiere, whereas my wife's computer doesn't. Hardware should be sufficient, the video files are stored on a local SSD

I'm running Premiere 2022 with W10 and I am wondering which, Motion Tracking or Shake Reduction, to eliminate camera shake. I've tried each separately and both together with no significant change.1. Why am I not seeing any significant change when previewing the clip?2. Which would be better to use?3. Can they be used on the same clip simultaneously?4. Is there a link or location, etc., that will explain what each function is used for and the differences between the two?

I  currently have PE 2019 installed on my WIN 10 laptop. Recieved PE 2022 on a DVD as a Christmas gift, so I am attempting to install it on the same machine.  After inserting DVD, I get to the options window, the one which allows language selection, etc.. I beleive there is a 'Continue' button in this window but I am unable to access it because I am unable to resize this window.  Only option is Exit which kills the install. Do I need to uninstall PE2019 prior to installing PE 2022?  Is there something I missed?  It's only an install which would seem like a straight forward task..    Thanks...

Hi,In 2016 I purchased the Teacher/Student Version of Premiere Elements 14.I got 2 activtion codes and installed it on my laptop and desktop.Unfortunately, recently, the one on my desktop is displaying a "Trial has expired message" and is not letting me proceed with using the software.I was wondering if anybody has ideas on how I should proceed (I still have the activation codes.).Thank you

I updated to MacOS Big Sur 11.5.2 . Now my Premiere Elements 13 won't open, saying it needs an update. How do I update without being able to open the app? 

Hi I cannot activate Premier Elements 14 on a new installed PC. Installs correctly, but when I enter the serial number, I get a message indicating that I need to Contact Customer Support. Support has confirmed it is a vlid serial number and to post here. What do I do? Have same issue with Photoshop  Elementrs 14. Thanks.

Just installed Premiere Elements 19. No sound from timeline or elsewhere. However, perfect sound if I play my clips on any other player. The speakers are set to default ourput - so everything is OK. However, the audioconfiguration in the project settings tells me "device class MME" and "Realtec High Definition" not working.Al audio testing in windows works just fine but not PE.Are there any hidden settings?
