I am looking for support in finding an optimized desktop for graphic design purposes. However, my machine has difficulty rendering previews for some graphic templates I work off of as well as astronomically long rendering times. Below are my current system specifications:ROG Zephyrus M15 GU502LWProcessor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHzInstalled RAM 40.0 GB (39.8 GB usable)Product ID 00325-81960-39020-AAOEMSystem type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorEdition Windows 11 HomeVersion 22H2OS build 22621.2215I was looking for desktop recommendations that would help me hasten the preview and rendering processes for these programs. I understand the system recommendations posted from Adobe, but I'm unsure from the mangnitude of options available in the market and don't have the expertise to make an informed decision and looking for expert insight from the community to help guide me! Can the HP Elitebook x360 830 G8 work with Adobe Premiere Pro? Specs as below:
I have Dell Precision T5500 Xeon processor E5630 2.53ghz 2 CPU, GTX-1060 3GB, 250SSD. I want to know if Adobe Premiere Pro 2022 version will work fine with given specs??

According to my budget, I will manage these graphics cards:1. Intel arc a380 6GB2. Peladn 1660ti 6GB Which is better for me?Please suggest me.
Adding Arc GPU with Nvidia GTX960, no QSV Intel CPU system - Does PP really not allow 10bit 422 decode w/DGPUs? Read this today.. RjL190365 - "...And Adobe currently restricts hardware decoding support for all PCs with discrete GPUs to 4:2:0." What is up with that?
Quiero saber si comprando la mac mini m2 pro es sufieciente para que corran Premier, PS, AI y Dimension
I recently received a company supplied laptop to use for editing. I am moving off an old Macbook Pro with only 8 GB of RAM. This PC is windows 10 enterprise, i7, with 32 GB of RAM. I installed CC without a problem. Premiere is running great EXCEPT I can not export a sequence. Premiere does not like my internal graphics card. I spent an hour with an Adobe tech and he confirmed this. I can export via software but it is so slow it is not a viable option for me. He suggested I get an external graphics card. I don't know anything about this. I only have USB 2 and 3 ports on this PC. Is this an option for me and can you suggest a card that will work for me?
Adobe Premiere Pro CC has begun shutting down my computer during the exporting of a movie. I am on day three of the 30-day CC trial.I had success exporting a movie once the first time, on my first day of the trial. However, since then, I have had little luck. The computer shutting down has happened at various points along the exporting progress bar; sometimes around 45%, sometimes around 55%. When I reboot my computer, however, I see an incomplete, 0 kb file in my save location.I have tried disabling GPU rendering, but this did not help. The setting I have exported to each time (including the successful run) is YouTube 1080p 23(.etc) fps, with extra frame render quality turned both on and off.Is this a bug? Is there anything on my end that's causing it? What can I do?Thank you.System specifications:Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bitAsus M4A78LT-M LE MotherboardAsus BIOS Version 0803AMD Athlon II X4 645, 3.10 GHz8GB RAMAMD Radeon HD 6790AMD Catalyst Version 13.9AMD Driver Packaging Vers
I'm building a new Threadripper Pro system this month and am wondering if it makes sense to include an Intel Arc gpu alongside my Nvidia one. I really would like hardware accelerated decoding of h.265 10-bit 4:2:2 in order to handle the 8K coming from my Canon R5 without proxies. Neither Nvidia nor AMD offer hw acceleration for this codec but Intel Arc rips through it like butter in Resolve. There was a mention in the known issues a while back that it didn't work yet in Premiere, but I'm curious if that's been fixed yet before I go order an Arc card. Thanks!
Hi guys. Newbie here.I've built myself a killer PC to try and start getting into editing. But it's seems it can't handle 6min of wedding photos with some simple dissolves and pan+zoom.Which seems strange given I've built a:64gb DDR51TB High Speed SSD12GB Asus Radeon Dual RX6750OCAMD Ryzen 5600G You wouldn't think a simple codec could block up this beast, but it seems so.The whole reason I built this PC was to avoid slow render speeds, but here I am, back at the CPU rendering speeds I wanted to leave.Am I missing something?
I'm looking at upgrading my desktop system. My current system (Intel NUC8 with GPU integrated in the CPU) can't handle the photo and video editing I am doing. I need something that will easily handle Premier Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom, working with 4K video and big raw files. I'm trying to research GPU options but it's pretty overwhelming. One of the options that seems like it might work well for me is a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti installed in an Intel NUC 13 Extreme (with i9 processor and at least 32gb of RAM). Any thoughts on this? If you've recently upgraded your computer, or even just the GPU, what did you get and why?
Are people with the Mac M2 Studios still encountering lagging playback, problems with dual monitors and other issues with Premiere Pro/After Effects? I'm planning to upgrade but was put off by some of the comments on this board. Thanks!
Dear community,I am currently starting professional video production for my company's YouTube. Graphic animation and post-production is going really, really slow in premiere pro. So my question is: Is it Premiere or is it my Laptop? Should I switch to After Effects, or should I ask for a new Laptop? I'm afraid both is not an option. I'm currently using a HP ProBook 455 G7 with an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics 2.38 GHz and 16 GB RAM.Many thanks in advance!Marius [Typo in title edited by moderator]
Hi everyoneI am using a HP Omen Laptop of 32gb RAM, 1TB HDD, 8gb dedicated GPU and 4gb VRAM but my premiere pro 2021 still run slow.Simple text animation MOGRT slows down the playback and get the interface sluggish. Please what can I do about this? It's frustrating.
Hi! I heard that it is possible to plug an external hard drive to a computer (I have a MacBook Pro) to make After Effects faster or more efficient. Is that right? If so, how does it work? Thank you! Chris.
My son will be using Adobe Premiere Pro at school and we need to buy a notebook. We picked one that uses the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card. However, this graphics card is not listed among the recommended ones. Could that cause problems?
Hello, I am looking for a windows configuration for a futur buy.I will work on After Effect and Premiere Pro in 8k and i would also like to know if there are any laptop that will be enough powerfull for this use. Thx in advance.
Good day, all! Looking for some recommendations on media drives for editing. I'm an Adobe CC user working primarily from laptops (actually both PC and MAC) in a corporate environment. Like many, we are moving to cloud-based storage for everyday work, but I'm wanting to keep working media files on desktop storage for a variety of reasons. Just curious what people find works well for them. Thanks!
I hadn't had any crashes from Premiere Pro lately. I downloaded Adobe Diagnostics, and it said that the issue that my laptop doesn't have 16 MB of RAM. My laptop doesn't have that much RAM, but Premiere Pro still runs on it. I already know what the answer is going to be. I'll give this a shot anyway. I did look at how to upgrade my laptop to more MB, but that involves, unscrewing the laptop and taking out the Memory Card (I think that's what it's called) 🤷♀️. Are there other ways to get more RAM for my laptop that doesn't involve unscrewing it?.
I wanted to get a laptop with the Arc A730M because it is on sale. But since the Arc series is still pretty new, i wonderd if it works well with the software and had it good peformace.
Commercial stills people photographer - portrait and lifestyle. I shoot a little video, not lots, and I'm by no means an expert video editor, which is why I'm using a MacBook Pro rather than a Mac Pro. I'm about to buy a MacBook Pro M2 Max, but want to get a better feel for how much RAM I should invest in and if it's worth adding extra internal storage for scratch disc use. I keep all my Documents on an external SSD so the internal drive is as clean and lean as possible (not always possible, but I try). My externals are G-Raid drives, setup as single volume JBOD's as I haven't felt the need to go to RAID for stills. When shooting video I'm mostly shooting with the Canon R5 at 4K and I don't do heavy editing. My options are 64 or 96 GB of RAM. I feel 64 would be more than enough for even the heaviest Photoshop and Capture One usages for stills, but I'm not sure with Premiere or other video editing like DaVinci Resolve. Is there any reason to have more than 1TB of internal storag
I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why I can't get premiere pro to stop logging on to the timeline while I'm editing. I have a Dell XPS 17 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz with 64megs of ram and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU. There is no way it should be lagging at all and it sucks with just 1080p footage. I NEED HELP NOW! Im getting ready to sell it and buy a MAC because this SHOULD NOT be happening! Video is attached of whats going on!
Hey everyone so I'm exporting a single 5min scene in 4K BRAW to pro res 4444xq. I am on Nvdia accelerated...im writing to a fast 7tb SSD but my Read drive in a 40+ TB Raid 0 for max speed. My stats are showing my GPU and CPU are barely being used. The render takes 30min...for the hardware I have this seems slow but I could be wrong can anyone make any suggestions. I have a 2019 iMac, OS Monterey, and considering upgrading to 16 GB ram to do high-end graphics with CC 2023 apps. However, not sure if its graphics card can handle the new apps, or if it will be painfully slow? The card is a Radeon Pro 570X 4 GB. Thanks for your help!
