A green filter appears while editing clips and exporting video. Hi guys,I'm looking to buy a i9 9900k and an nVidia RTX 2070 Super, but I'm a bit worried because I have seen so much discussion about Premiere Pro not using the GPU, for example,Premiere Pro using Integrated and not Dedicated Graphics Card I've just switched from Vegas Pro to Premier Pro and I really like it so far. I have i7 4790 processor and oldish AMD gpu with 3gb vram.My videos were taking hours to render using CPU, then I somehow enabled opencl and it reduced the time dramatically by using the integrated graphics. Then I used the registry editor to use my AMD card only and it halved the time and I was pleased with this.So should I buy the i9 and 2070 super or would I run into the problems everyone else is facing? It's such a shame that people pay so much money for expensive gpus and Premiere Pro can't use them. I don't think I'll want to use Premiere Pro if this isn't fixed because the difference we are talking is minutes compared to hours.Cheers.

I've got a few questions that I hope you guys can help me out with. I'm going to reinstall Premiere on a newly restarted iMac. These are my specs:Processor: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i5Memory: 8 GB 2400 MHz DDR4Graphics: Radeon Pro 575 4GBI also have a WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra 2-Bay 8TB Hard DriveHow should I set up Premiere Pro as far as the disk setup goes? If someone can give me a blueprint for where to route certain files (cache, etc.) to make the workflow simpler and more organized, that would be ideal. Also: should I keep Premiere Pro on my desktop, but store the files on my Cloud drive? Or should I move Premiere Pro off of the desktop and onto the Cloud Drive, and then route everything to different files on the drive? Thank you in advance,Andrew

I'm struggling editing (specifically smooth playback) mostly DJI (drone) and GH4 footage at 4K with premiere pro. My current spec is:-Win 10 X64Asus X99-AIIcore i7-6800K2X16GB DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2666MHz Memory 1XRTX 2070booting from M.2with a string of SSD and conventional SATA3, non-RAID to the tune of about 25TBI've considered moving to i9 but I think for the outlay, the improvement will only be marginal for premiere and my workload (OK I know render will be faster but edit is my problem, I can live with my render times already). So I'm looking at getting the most out of my current setup for another year or two.My question is, should I go to 64 or 128 GB of RAM, even though I'm only seeing typically 60% or so memory utilisation, will increasing capacity do anything in this scenario?If so, should I add 6 more 16GB DDR4 2666MHz sticks, or actually will going to 3333Mhz (the MoBo max) give more benefit, even with potentailly lower total amounts, so even replacing my current 2x16GB 2666M

Possible solution – After numerous workarounds I may have an answer I’m not a gamer but do play solitaire and found this uses NVIDIA’s GPU intensely without crashing. So, I kept it running in the background and loaded both Photoshop and a video editing program, the latter likes to use the GPU 1060, and neither crashed. However, solitaire uses 30% of the GPU and with a video editing program open at the same time this becomes intense. The interim answer that works for me is to use the latest NVIDIA driver (version 430.86) and allow it to run in the background.  Click on the “Adjust Image Setting with Preview” and then on “Use the advanced 3D settings”.  This will use the GPU 1060 at around 3%.  Now running Photoshop or a Video editing program everything seems to be working well without crashing.  See the shot below taken while a multi clip video was running in one of my video editing programs.

someone could help me a little, I'm going to change my equipment, and I'm thinking of an AMD 7 2700x ryzen and 32 ram, the video card I'm still in doubt, if I buy a 1660ti or a P2000 that in view of its prices are more or less in my budget. Thanks in advance

Hello and thanks for any help you guys can give, so I built a new Video PC, however, I am trying to figure out how to make sure I have it all setup properly, here is what I haveIntel I9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHZ32GB RamNvidia GeForce RTX 2080Things I notice is when I render video, the video encoding graph under task manager, stays at 0, it doesn't ever look like it's using any of my GPU. I'm looking as to where I should look to make sure this is all setup properly?

I'm upgrading my computer to an iMac and I'm wondering if these specs would work for editing 4-5 minute 4k videos in AAE with limited effects, nothing crazy. Specifically I want to make sure that the CPU and GPU are strong enough to handle 4k editing and rendering in a reasonable time. Is the 405$ upgrade from the Radeon Pro 580X with 8GB of GDDR5 to the Radeon Pro Vega 48 with 8GB of HBM2 necessary? That's a lot of money and if the Radeon Pro 580X is good enough I really don't want to spend the extra 400$, but I will if it's the difference between laggy and seamless editing. I haven't been on the forums in a while so I don't know if anyone has posted anything about this, but the PPBM8.com site seems to be gone.  I keep getting a 403 error, in addition is gives me a 404 error.  This is happening on PPBM8 and PPBM6.Can anyone tell me if the site is coming back up or is it gone forever?ThanksDave

I'm spec'ing out a new Mac Mini (to replace my ancient Mac Mini), on-which I'll be doing prosumer-level video editing. The Mini's stock GPU is trash, so I need to go with an external GPU.Adobe's official/short list of officially-supported Mac Metal cards fall into two camps:OldNewer—but exclusively sold to Apple, not individual consumers (i.e., all the AMD Pro cards).The obvious problem with #2 is that I can't buy one. What I can buy are the RX variants of those same cards. So, I called Adobe tech support and asked, "hey, will Mac Premiere work if I use an RX Vega 64?" He said no — I should only stick to their officially-supported GPUs.So, I'd like a second opinion. Can anyone in this forum confirm whether an RX Vega 64 will or won't work?

Dear allUnfortunately, the time has come to buy a new PC to run my Creative Cloud apps.I am primarily web/digital design, graphic design and some video editing.The machine I am replacing is a 5 year old Dell, has 16gb of RAM and uses an nVidia Quadro P4000 2gb video card.I'm wondering what would be the optimum/minimum spec to successfully run my CC apps and my work? I'm less interested in a 'brand' and more interested in thoughts on number of cores (is CC licensed 'per core')?, RAM, processor speed etc.I've got about a maximum of £2 - 2.5k (excl VAT) to spend.It would have to be a PC not a Mac. To be honest, it's at times like these I realise how pathetically little I know about the hardware I use! I've generally always used Dell as they have been pretty reliable, but as I say I'm less interested in the actual brand.Any thoughts welcomed.Regards

I have an Nvidia GTX 1080, so my Intel UHD 630 is by default not enabled. My BIOS doesn't have any option to turn on my onboard graphics, so I had to connect a second monitor to it. That way I could activate Quick Sync and successfully tested it with Handbrake. In Premiere (13.0.2) and Media Encoder the hardware acceleration in the h.264 export options it is not grayed out, but when I try to select it an error message appears, telling me that the hardware of my system doesn't support hardware acceleration with the current options. I know that Quick Sync is not working with CB and 2-pass encoding, so what else could be the cause?UPDATE: For some videos hardware enconding is working, for others not. The only differences are the frame rate and the field order. When it's working the field order is progressive and the frame rate of the source 23,987 fps and of the output 23,976 fps. About to get the new dell xps 15 fully loaded i9, 64gig ram etc...Im thinking of pairing the labtop with an external eGPU to give the laptop abit more boost.However, i haven't found to much info on this external eGPU's feature for adobe on the forums or anywhere else. Is this still new territory?I did came across a few youtube vids from nab 2019 and a few older ones from last year on people testing mulit eGPUs and adobe...But i feel the information is dated, more experimental testing and not really working.Anyone running a labtop connected to an external eGPU?Setup recommendations?I guess buy a box and just shove the latest graphic cards into them?Theres some info or little info on the blackmagic epgu or Razer Core x performance...thoughts?

Our AMD FirePro W4190M graphic card is not supported by Premiere, so I'm using the internal GPU Intel HD Graphics 620 for encoding to h.264. Unfortunately this causes colored stripes when there is a still image or mogrt on another track. Is there an option to fix this?

In order to decide the type (SSD or HDD) and storage capacity of new disk I need to know where Adobe programs do the rendering (if all programs perform the same way e.g. Illustrator and Premiere) Assuming we have two different disks: the rendering uses the disk where the source files are stored or the disk where the program files are installed? Let me pose the question in a different way: if source files are stored in a HDD and the program is installed on an SSD will the rendering be slower compared to an SSD storage? Thank you.

Question for you all.I am a tech at my firm and we have recently hired a video editor who will be working in Premier Pro. This individual is currently using a newer Mac book Pro with an AMD Radeon Pro 560 GPU, 32GB RAM and an i7 intel processor. When looking at the recommended GPU's here<https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html> the AMD RP 560 is listed. With that being said, this user is having slow rendering times when editing video's. This individual is mostly doing work in 1080p but occasionally in 4k. I did a bit a reading and found that Premier Pro is better suited when using Windows CUDA GPU's.For all you video editors, I am wondering your opinion here. Do you prefer to use Mac or PC? What Hardware configuration do you recommend?
