OS: Windows 10 version 2004 (20H2)(Japanese) updated. Hi, after recent update of Adobe Acrobat Reader Dc Version 2021.001.20135, PDF thumbnails disappreared. When using many pdf documents and could not see thier cover it is very painful to open each file one by one.I have followed the guidance available online to solve the problem such as, enable General/Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer, Set Adobe Acrobat Reader as a default application and reinstalled nothing working. I wonder what would be the solution to view thumbnails? or is it possible to install the previous (older) version? Any help in this regard will be appreciated.Thank you.

Hello, I'm an IT with a retail company, we have almost a 100 stores across multiple states and this issue is happening with all our stores. We use Retail Pro for our POS and we have something called Retail Pro 9 Reports in our back offices at the stores where managers can run Sales and Dicount reports and then either print or export those files. The one that doesn't work in this case is exporting these reports to PDF. When we hit export, nothig happens mostly, the files don't get export to the Reader. We have the stores doing a workaround for now which is to hit print option at the top in the Reports, at the drop-down arrow, there's a "Microsoft Print to PDF" option and save it that way. The exporting strangely enough works sometimes when you back out of the reports and running it again one or two times but obviously that's not ideal. I have attached an picture example of what the Retail Pro Reports looks like as I understand it's not widely used or known. Bonjour!J'ai récemment enregistré des documents sur adobe audition. Malheureusement, après une sauvegarde de l'ensemble de mes fichiers, je ne les retrouves que dans mes ''fichiers récents'', et ces derniers ne contiennent plus rien. Je vois le temps qu'ils duraient, le nom du fichier, les paramètres avec lesquels ils ont été enregistrés,  mais il n'y a plus d'audio...  Quelqu'un aurait une piste de solution à me suggérer ?! Où donc mon contenu peut-il bien se terrer?!  Merci!   

Using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2021.007.20099 64bit.  Basic functions that result in a dialog box appear blank.  For example, trying to rotate a document, a blank dialog box appears.  If I attempt to sign a document, click add signature, the entire application fades to black and requires a force close.  I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling and this has not helped.

Please, does anyone know how to permanently turn off sidebars with features in Acrobat reader DC? Each time you open a PDF, a bunch of features open on the left and right, which must be minimized manually. Of course, it takes away from the view.

Hi,we currently have the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (32-bit) Version 2021.005.20060 installed at well over 500 PCs.I noticed there is a 64-Bit Version for the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.DL https://ardownload2.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/AcrobatDC/2100720099/AcroRdrDCx642100720099_de_DE.exeBut is this still the Free Reader Version? In die Customization Wizard i even have the option to set a serialnumber now. The Free 32-Bit doesnt have as much Settings in the Customization Wizard, the installer MSI is named AcroRead.msi instead of AcroPro.msi (64-Bit) and the 64-Bit path doesnt contain the "Acrobat Reader" anymore.64-Bit: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe"32-Bit: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" So everything let it seems like i installed the Acrobat Standard or Acrobat Pro (the paid) versions and not the Free version. But letting it install without any serialnumber in the Customization

Hallo Community, wir sind gerade dabei beschreibbare PDF-Protokolle zu erstellen, welche im SAP (FIORI) von den Technikern ausgefüllt werden können. Jetzt kommt der Haken an der Sache. Im LiveCycle-Designer lassen sich super Protokolle erzeugen mit Berechnungen. Die Berechnungen sind in der PDF allerdings nur aktiv, wenn das Protokoll als dynamisches PDF erzeugt wurde. Statische PDFs sind dazu nicht in der lage.Statische PDFs wiederum funktionieren in SAP (S4 HANA) in FIORI, dynamische funktionieren nicht.Jetzt fragt mich unsere IT welches Format (PDF/A, PDF/UA, PDF/X, PDF/VT oder PDF/E) das Dokument haben muss, damit es ein dynamisches PDF ist.Da ich mit PDF/A, PDF/UA, PDF/X, PDF/VT und PDF/E leider nichts anfangen kann und auch in Google nicht schlauer geworden bin, hoffe ich auf das geballte Wissen der Community.Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn mir Jemand hierbei weiterhelfen könnte.

Bonjour à toutes et à tous, J'utilise la fonction Certificat d'Adobe Acrobat Reader pour signer des documents que je dois ensuite enregistrer dans un repertoire local et transmettre vers un autre service. J'ai la version 2021.007.20099J'ai besoin de modifier le mot de passe qui est demandé lors de la signature numérique. Savez-vous comment faire ? Est-il possible égallement de modifier le répertoire d'enregistrement pour mettre le miens par défaut ?  Dernière question, est-il possible de l'enregistrer sur un cloud partagé avec plusieurs personne et d'être notifié quand le document a été consulté ? Merci par avance pour votre aide. Mikaël

Hi all, I am now plannnig to delete bupdate using Active Directory GPO in order to force Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to be automatically kept updated. As our office network bandwidth is limited , I really need to know when the automatic update runs to avoid network congestion in case  many PCs in our office run the update at the same timing. Would anybody tell me when the automatic update runs ? How can I know it? Thanks  Kami

Hi We are experiencing a problem in Acrobat Reader 2021 on a few pc's. When the user opens the app, it prompts them to log in to Adobe cloud and then gives the message that they don't have access to this service. They don't have access to the full Adobe Acrobat, but how is this linked to Acrobat reader, to my knowledge, Acrobat Reader is for free? Has anyone a fix/explanation for this? RegardsEdwin 

I have a Lenovo Legion Y7000P-1060 computer from 2018 which I have been using for three years.  It runs the latest version of Windows 10 and I also have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, both of which automatically update periodically.  In recent weeks, if I bring up any .pdf file using Adobe Acrobat Reader, I can't print it on my Brother laser printer.  I have been copying any file which I want to print to a .zip drive, moving it to a computer manufactured in 2005, and running a very old version of Adobe Acrobat Reader on that computer (Windows XP) which works fine.  However, this is cumbersome.  If there are any suggestions on how to resolve this issue then it would be much appreciated.  Thank you.  --Steve 

Trying to download a form from grants.gov but it keeps telling me I need to download the latest version of adobe acrobat reader.  This has been done several times but I still cannot download the form.  Any suggestions!

The adobe reader app wont shut down or let me delete ot off my app or force quit on my laptop , not allowing me to reset my laptop  

Hi, I wish to insert the question into my context, Mojave 10 14 6. First, the difference between Acrobat and Acrobat reader is the first has paid features, correct? I have  'AdobeAcrobat Reader DC". So in "available installers" here in the screenshot I should install "Reader", correct?  The important question is, does the install fix the error "the files have been removed"?  I open and highlight pdf perfectly with mojave for years,but I can't open "link copied" since weeks, thanks

I'm getting the above error constantly when I try and copy formatted text from a PDF using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 64 bit to MS Word. Never had it before, couple of reinstalls later (d/l'ed from Adobe.com) and I'm still getting it. I've tried uninstalling Adobe Genuine Service as suggested by Google searching,but it doesn't appear in my list of Windows programs. Anyone else getting this? Or know why it's doing this?

 When I click the "request signature" button I get this message:  "Could not Send.  Requested view is not available for the resource in the current form."  I am able to upload the pdf and then add my signature etc, but when i try to take the next step to request signature, there seems to be a problem with the file format despite the fact that it was saved as adobe pdf.  This is a consent document that I use with every client I serve.  The first time I used it there was no problem and i got the document back with a signature.  Since then, acrobat will not let me request signature.   What am I doing wrong?  

Hello Community, the attached pdf is not possible to open on a Chromebook.  With a local installation of Adobe Reader on a windows laptop its no problem to open.  Have anyone a idea to open this kind of pdf on a Chromebook?It is an official form from a federal ministry in germany.  Thanks in advance! Greetings Marcus

Scenario: Adobe Acrobat Reader becomes unresponsive when using a digital signature.  Background- Version; Adobe Acrobat Reader 21.001.20135OS: Server 2016Delivered via: Citrix XenApp published icons The problem started about 1.25 years ago, the program will allow you to 1- draw the position for the signature on the doc. 2- Select the certificate (ours is being pulled from our CA server) then 3- process to the preview screen.  however nothing happens after that when the user clicks 'Sign' generally speaking they would be prompted to save the document and a file explorer window opens. However if the user is affected then when they click sign nothing happens. There are no pop-ups or messages displayed. The program though is otherwise useable, the user can saves as or open a new file etc, just the signature does not apply.    

Hi, I am trying to insert a fillale PDF form with text data into a word document. When I upload the document into word the PDF is visable however the text tat has been filled in is missing.

Hello been using this product for years and first time ever with issue. Suddenly I'm not able to save in Adobe Reader DC, such as just saving to my computer from receiving a PDF document by email for example. The "Save file" icon in the upper left has become disabled, as is the "Save" option in the File drop down menu. Also all of my existing PDF's have sort of disappeared (they are still there but no longer as PDF). I've tried a few things such as "repair" and "uninstall/install" Adobe Reader DC from control panel, and restarting computer but these did not work. I'm on Acer desktop with Windows 10. Any help? Thank you. 

When I scan something as a pdf, Acrobat Reader used to open up automatically after the scan and show me the scan. It has stopped doing that. How can I make it function like that again?
